floblu14,
Nice to see. Big jump.
I hope all have a great, safe, healthy and Happy New Year.

fundindasun,
Yes, it will be a long time before we know about AD.
Not long before we know about M254 trial though. Second half of the year.
We need one great drug patent, cranking out cash here, that no one else can use for years.
Boing X 2
funindasun,
It is getting interesting to say the least if they get approval on an AD drug, that is more effective, then the other four drugs that are available.
They listed a lot of others diseases it might effect in their claims, but claim 0002 stated AD.
Checked on short positions which posted last night from Dec 13th. Up to 4.7M plus shorts. That is up from 4.3 some.Hope none have covered. With the current volume only 3 some days to cover.
The next cc is a must listen for any hints.
It would have been nice to get a PR on the recent Orphan Drug status approval but I guess CW doesn't think it is important enough to tell the shareholders. Without Floblu we would not have known. Thank you Floblu.
We could have had a good pop on a PR with that news. The FDA doesn't just hand those out willy nilly. Afraid to spend the money for a PR when it can have a positive impact is not how other companies do it..
Not every day one gets granted Orphan Drug Status.
At any rate I am still positive on what the company is doing.
All stay safe and thank you for the kind comments.
OT: Two more PT sessions and then I suck it up. Bad pain day yesterday and feeling good today. Go figure.
Boing X 2
Floblu14,
Thank you for asking. I have had non stop pain as the drugs were not releasing the pain. Oxycodone and Morphine and no relief.
PT has been a bear with all the pain. On top of that I had to have an ingrown toe nail cut out yesterday.
Off to the Dr. today for follow up check up on the knee. Knee is still somewhat warm but x rays looked fine. Pain is now starting to ease up some.
Thank you for posting the information from he women on the trials. Most interesting.
Talked to my financial planner the day before yesterday at a reception and he said medical stocks had not been doing well due to uncertainty about the Govt. and now are taking off.
Momenta and our LLY stock ripping up.. Heavy volume yesterday and not sure if shorts covering or not yet.
I wish all a Merry Christmas and a great New Year.
Boing X 2
Peachman,
Right you are.
My wife and I just got hit with a big rate increase again. About 3k a year between the two of us. We have been with them over 11 years.
Plus they say they are going to increase rates again in 4 years. Been with them though several rate increases.
This one was the straw that broke the camels back. We therefore are electiing paid up premiums at the current daily rate with no further payments. We are taking the money we pay and putting it into a segregated savings account to supplement any future care over our current significant contributions.
We have always paid before the end of the year for tax reasons and when I called to ask for this years bills on us both I mentioned at least you are not having to deal with people about another rate increase and the lady said zip, nada nothing about the fact the letters were coming out on another rate increase. There is no way she did not know the letters were in the works.
I called on a Thursday and got notice of the rate increases on Sat.
If as many people do like we are doing they are going to be lookin at massive cuts in income.
With our separate account we can use if for either of our care over and above Gen Worth money. If we don't need the money it will go to the kids.
Boing X 2
floblu14,
Thank you. Will do.
Boing X 2
funindasun,
What is nice about this drug is that there is a shortage of IVIG and there are 80 off label potential uses if M254 gets approved
Looking good so far.

OT, funindasun,
Hi and thank you,
Your guess might well be right on describing a 3D object.
Just chilling until Oct. when my Brother-in-law and I go Trophy fly fishing for a week at the San Juan in New Mexico.
We got our fly's in order and lines cleaned yesterday. Made sure things will fit in my car.
Doing this trip before I have my right knee replaced in Nov. as I will have PT for a while after that.
I figure it is going to be six months or so before things start to heat up with some of the trial results.
Best to you while we wait.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all,
Flo still riding our zero cost basis shares. Got all our invested money out.
Dilution can't hurt me when I have a zero cost basis in the stock. If the stock price goes down I add more.
Still believe in the potential drugs they are working on here.

funindasun,
I agree.
They have been working on this for years. If they can end up avoiding blood transfusions on the babies and avoid the necessity of splenectomy on TTP patients they hit it out of the park.
"The most common disease-related reason for a spleen removal is a blood disorder called idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). This is an autoimmune condition in which antibodies target blood platelets. Platelets are needed to help blood to clot, so a person with ITP is at risk for bleeding. The spleen is involved in making these antibodies and removing the platelets from the blood. Removing the spleen can be done to help treat the condition."
3 more unnamed drugs in the works.
We are heading to Boston this AM for a couple of days and then on to the high seas. Back in 10 days.
I can be found on the Executive Lounge Level, in a Premium River Side Studio Suite, at the Westin Copley should Momenta wish to contact me.:)

If our drug can avoid the following, it should be big on cost savings,
" Adult ITP patients have a low rate of spontaneous remission, and symptomatic patients commonly undergo splenectomy'
Boing X 2
floblu14,

18 days and a few hours to wait after today.
Could it be one of these?
"Based on our in vivo studies, patients with skin-blistering diseases or ITP may be attractive candidates for the first in-human trial.Patients with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy may also be an interesting target population, because they respond to IVIg therapy with an up-regulation of the inhibitory Fc ? R (45), which was shown to be a critical IVIg-triggered effector pathway to dampen autoantibody activity in murine models (46, 47). Furthermore, given the documented effects of Fc sialylation in reducing IgG antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity activity, it may also be possible to use this enzymatic sialylation strategy to develop therapeutic antibodies with reduced effect or functions"
Can't wait to find out what it is going to be.
Once we know we can do more research on the potential.
Boing X 2
floblu14,
Also, the MACD just crossed ever so slightly to the up side.
We shall see.

funinthesun,
OT,
Too big a project to take a chance on messing it up. First contractor wanted to do that.
I likewise hope the case is reversed in our favor.
Boing X 2
funinthesun,
Sorry , I did not see your post until this am. This was a crazy trip. The engineer and his wife were unable to go to dinner with us so I would not have been able to ask the questions.
It was non stop with the contractors and back to the drawing board to get a county and HOA variance for what our son wants to do. It was non stop checking things out. i.e. decking, hot tub, fire pit table, BBQ grills etc.
The nut that dumped a rental car cub side, in the parking garage, and closed down Terminal 4 in Phoenix caused our return flight from Denver to be canceled. That cost us 500 bucks in hotel, parking meals and grief waiting until midnight to get out luggage back. The luggage went on and had to be returned.
Great on the up grade and Mouton placing the brief on the board.
Still somewhat tired this am.
Boing X 2
funninthesun,
Sure do.
I can't wait to hear which untreatable disease we are going after. I do hope it is big. This is their chance to shine big time. CW said it is their sleeper drug and we shall see soon.
Going for two drugs at the same time.
I hope those on the East Coast stay safe. I couldn't believe the wave heights they are talking about.
They measured 83 foot waves on flyover this am.
You could not pay me to be on the East Coast this weekend, nor near Hanoi or Hong Kong with the typhoon that is a monster heading towards them. Talk about a slicer, dice, shreder and vegimatic storm.
It is likely to set records it is so strong. Just nasty,
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/jma/wpac/h5-loop-rb.html
Flying out of state tomorrow pm for 4 days. Helping our son design and plan a covered patio deck with hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, TV, and New Orleans style gas lights around on the the railing tops and on one wall with the contractors.
Dad was put in charge to come up with the plan. I did, and now it is time to price it out. Appointments are set with the contractors for bids. Glad he is the one paying for this patio.
His space shuttle engineer friend checked it out and gave good input and agreed it will be awesome.
Take care,
Boing X 2
Another one in agreement,
More
Significant wave heights of up to 50 feet are possible if not likely with Major Hurricane #Florence, with isolated spots of 75-100ft possible as well...another big factor alongside an extremely dangerous storm surge, winds topping 100mph and flooding rains of 20"+ #NCwx #SCwx
Boing X 2
Did not copy well so here,
Maximum wave height possible ... trough to crest modeled to be > 100 feet for Hurricane #Florence & 121 feet for Category 5 Super Typhoon #Mangkhut near Luzon, Philippines.
Significance wave height (Hs) is based on average of highest 1/3 of waves in the distribution or spectrum
Boing X 2
To the people in the path of Florence,
This is the only way I know to let you know what I am picking up. Waves up to 100 feet possible.
Backed up by another post. Check the website.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dm59mV9XoAAdH4t.jpg If what Ryan Made and another says happens it is not good.
If waves that big come in there is likely no house on the coast in its path that likely survives. Two agree from 75/100 feet waves potential. Make your own informed decision. Exceptional rain on top of it.
I hope they get the word out fast if this is correct.
Still time to bail. Pass the word to relatives.
Boing X 2
funinthesun,
Same here.
Not sure yet but I expect the dollar amount will continue to grow. A few more big accounts are likely.
If they get to a point where they cover the quarterly expenditures I consider it a win.
I think the hsIVIg with 80 or more potential areas of treatment will be the big area. I believe we are ahead of the curve on recognizing the potential and how to get to the finish line. Time will tell.
Boing X 2
funinthesun,
I just realized I screwed up on the math.
10% of 1.1 billion less costs and shared 50%.
Add 20MG in to total. Not sure of that amount.
Will grow with more contracts.
Boing X 2
funningthesun,
Hope this helps,
"With more than $4 billion in annual sales at stake, and more people being diagnosed with MS every year” I think that would be world wide.
A conservative estimate for US sales is 1.1 Billion from another article I can’t find right now.
10% would be 44 million and one would need to deduct costs and then 50 sharing.
The thing is a couple more big contracts and we move on up.
We crossed above the 50 day and 200 day moving averages to the up side today. Very positive.
One month from today we find out the no available disease treatment we are going to try and get approval for treatment approved by the FDA.
We also find out what else going on with any sales etc.
Boing X 2
floblu14,
Have a great time. They have great onion rings if you like them. Funny though that the onions come from Texas as only locals can buy Bermuda onions.
We are heading to Boston, where they pak the ca, for a cruise next month.
A great labor day to all.

Boing X 2
floblu14,
Thank you. You made my morning with that trend analysis.
Boing X 2
Just IMHO,
Watched the action close all day.
Volume has been decreasing every day.
Spent quite a time checking the daily volume back until 11/29/13. The volume that day was 88,449
There was a volume of 122,000 day back in 2014.
We were way under 110,000K right until the end and then big buys kicked in to the tune of 50K plus shares up buy.
We still ended up on lower volume than the previous day.
My opinion is the shares are drying up,
All it is going to take is one piece of big news to blow this stock up.
Looking at the chart we made a higher low on an uptrend with a cup and handle forming.
I would expect to see lower volume every day until we get the 9 months figures on institutional holdings.
The next short position numbers on 8/31/18 being reported on 9/12/18 should be quite telling. They were at 4,300,000 on 8/15/18.
It those numbers are the same it is going to get interesting fast.
Just my opinion.
Boing X 2
funinthesun,
I asked him to ignore me and he won't. I just don't answer him anymore.
I totally agree we are about to break out with what they are doing.
Lower volume every day and forming a cup and handle on the chart. This stock could be explosive.
Point and figure is an ascending traditional reversal.
I just don't see how 4,300,000 shorts on the 15th of August are going to cover anytime soon with this low volume.
At this volume it would take around 40.6 days to cover.
I told my wife's cousin to take a look at the stock last night and do his DD when they came over to visit
yesterday.
Remember Eylea is in Phase 3 right now.
Boing X2
funinthesun,
I agree. I could not believe my eyes when I read it.
I had to re read it several times to make sure I was seeing it right.
Boing X 2
funinthesun,
I am glad all is going well for you.
I had not seen the study start. Great! Phase 3.
Very low volume today so far. Interesting.
Boing X 2
funinthesun,
I have been thinking about you and hope you are staying safe. Rain is going to be a big issue.
See there is a lot of flooding already and more to come.
We could use about half of what you are getting to fill our lakes.
