Trial protocol, data harvesting, optimum level determination.
Good article, but I wonder about the Catholic nuns bit, because I know two had wanted to be part of the trials, and this was a while back, both of advanced age, one of the pair (who apparently knew each other) had passed away, the other subsequently did not follow her interest in becoming part of the trial. Perhaps there were two additional Catholic nuns interested?
Just one tweek to your message, Paulness,....prescription sun glasses...
Come on Gastro, The Lions will win again...So will ACTC pps. ACT is a winning team!
Geron is continuing with the current patients and will gather clinical data. They are seeking partner(s) to continue with additional trials. They are refocusing on another product closer to market.
ACTC did simular change of course when it refocused its efforts on the eye, a faster track to the marketplace. Also, it is well known that verifying the effects of stem cells helping the spinal cord is not as definitive as verifying the effects of the ACT trials with the eye patients.
For that info I check at investorstemcell in rocky's corner. I like Ceasar's Palace as well for the positive view plus the science take on ACTC.
I always look forward to your positive postings, as well. I think we who have been reading for the longer term recognize what is happening when we see negative newbies' postings.
These lawsuits are kind of a drag, but to me it seems like they are saying "Hey, you gave more shares to so and so we deserve more shares." I guess its all a legal argument, but couldn't it be argued that those who recieved more shares at strike prices below .10 should not have, and thus, take back those shares? Isn't that the flip side of the argument?
Thanks again, Fordwill, for your words of Wisdom.
96% of these finance Co. signed an agreement not to pursue any litigation. I think we're hearing about the ones that didn't sign the agreement. Sure its possible they will try, but having signed an agreement in a settlement would certainly have legal effect on the outcome, an outcome in favor of ACT, IMO.
Thanks Fordwill, your posts have the ring of truth and experience.
Did a little search about Dr Coffey and The London Project. It sounds like their approach is to use hesc. They certainly will be affected by the recent UK ruling and their trials are anticipated to start in 2012. Sounds like the only way they can procede is to use ACT cells.
What is the difference between common shares having to be issued and warrants convertable to common shares?
You've got a point there. It's like we may have bought at a pps that was not based on accurate info. But I think it all hinges on continued positive results, its either great, (which I think it is) or its not. True valuation will come with positive results, meanwhile we have to wade through the mud.
This is a big deal, happy to see it. Go ACT!
Yes, if the photoreceptor cells are still viable, the revitalization of the macula would be condusive to the photoreceptor cells "firing up" and thus the restoration of sight.
The only response I have for this post is any one of these three songs: The sound of silence, I've got a feeling, and Do you hear what I hear.
Yo Stemcall,
Dr Lanza said, "I'm not going anywhere."
This is interesting, because what a group believes can be contrary to what an individual knows as a fact. It's interesting that it is argued so, when no malicious intent was meant by the misunderstanding by the stemcall group. My credentials? I've worked as a sound tech, and in college analyized recorded conversations which resulted in a research paper which was used in subsequent years as an example of "how it should be done." In addition, John Lennon said, "cranberry sauce" at the end of Strawberry Fields Forever. Maybe some groups of people still hear, "I buried Paul," And by the way, just because the CEO gets his kicks from poker, why hold what he does for fun against him. What do we know of other CEO's off work time fun? If ya knew, would ya hold it against them?
Its like the pps has an emotional life, it is now leaving the courtship era and now entering the marriage era, the bride may be a little nervous
I did read again. You seemed to imply that MCET has an advantage in the ethical/political/ etc. area over ACT, I guess that's true only if most people are'nt aware of their embryo safe stem cell harvesting technique, which is patented. It would seem to be correct that MCET has an advantage, in the opinion sphere, until people become aware of the safe technique that ACTC uses. I wish MCET the best of luck.
ACTC has a patent for its embryo safe stem cell harvesting technique. Embryonic stem cells are not their only area of research. Do more DD. :)
Do you "invest" then. Or, why "not allowed to."
If you put TA on board a ship it would say the ship is going to the bottom when its on one part of a wave, then say it was going to the moon, when its on another part of the wave, never seeing the big picture.
Thank you for the success story. At Wake Forrest Dr Anthony Atala (whom Dr. Lanza has some association with, both editors of a stem cell reference book) has a stem cell bladder in human trials currently through Tengion (TNGN)later this year they plan on intiating talks with FDA regarding their Neo-Kidney augmentation development program.
It really is! The safety trials are super cautious, with all the immune suppressants they are taking, along with the immune privilaged eye area to boot. No doubt positive results for safety are just a matter of paper work and pr and the time it takes for the observations.
The writers at Hotstocked should check Dr. Lanza spelling, they have Lamza, Lol.
Investors, fear not, players may run pps up or down, while they can, but the future of ACT is a vision of success. Dr Lanza isn't the only genius contributing, take some time and investigate the other medical tech wizards involved.
Thanks for the audio link. Yes, Dr. Lanza says "I'm not going anywhere." It all makes logical sense as well.
I wish this board had more activity, I hope Tengion turns it around!
The article refers to the use of Ips cells, ACTC trial does not use Ips cells. Thus, does not apply to ACTC Trial.
The JV thing was mentioned by the interim dude regarding the next phase for the ACT/heart innovations. Seeking JV because of the rather larger expense of it. Sorry about the vague language, it's bed time.
We can speculate, but if it doesn't make sense, it probably isn't real....but if investors think it means something and sell to drive price down, well then that trader who did .16 will buy at a really nice price.
Thanks !
I'm so happy to see this come to pass, on my son's 3rd birthday. I'm in hope that stem cell advances will someday help him!
UCLA IRB approval!
I'm going by the volume and color charts at scottrader streaming quotes assuming red is sale and green is buy. where do you get your buy sell info?
I think some large volume thats been called a buy is actually a sell. Also some large volume seems to go in for a moment, then out. Day Traders
I've read Biocentrism.
Which online brokerage do you recommend for trading ACTC?
Thank you for that link!
