ksviking how long do you estimate it will take for FDA approval of that child's device? 1 or 2 years?
Mr. S quote "I am an investor and I don't think that way. " - from reading the board - it looks like you are a large investor and in the inner circle of communications among large investors. Where the hundreds of other small investors like me rely on other means of communications - mostly 10K ; GLTA
"market is waiting for the 10K" - the market is not waiting for anything.. The firm is still under everyone's radars - and will not be at the forefront of buying until profit outweighs expense. Then we will see interest. Maybe 2018? GLTA
gopro.. you are missing the point, I have been away for 5 days, more news, but not much movement in pps. its okay - come back in 2018 and see what the pps is - otherwise it's just fodder for those with time on their hands. GLTU

Long Haul - glad we are on the same page - expecting the long haul to be 2024. How about you?
Sunpower gave me a 20 year warranty on mine - so I suspect its longer than 10 years - mine have been installed for 4 years and are going strong..
from much earlier posts, the company keeps lists of phone numbers and people and other associated information - I would rather my relationship remain as a shareholder - thru the transfer agent accounting for my cusip which I hold, as I do with all stocks I hold, this is no different from any stock I own and any questions I might have across the total portfolio, I would not call the offices of CSCO or any other stock I own.
I made comment to your post since you side stepped the real question in that post - a simple "I do not know" would of been more appropriate. GLTU
ok Walmart Contract - exists - we read it over and over in the filings, but that does not ans his question "But if you search their site, call Walmart, or visit a store... " Genstrip "just not there..."
Will it be on the shelves or on their web site in 2014?
I think that is the question he was asking? and it is a good question.
Wait - no1 commented on my secret about Solar 3D pps - today the market will go up OR down (so will our stock) - do not tell any1. it is a secret. GLTU
come over to decn and be the mod over there!
Not for Solar cells - $50K plus - "Consumer ""Perceived value" is and always will be the driving factor in purchases of any kind" I knew I was not buying a new car in 2009, when I purchased my solar system - I evaluated 10 contractors and went with the one at the top of that analysis - the panels were just a sub component cost in the larger picture - for this kind of purchase in the end it all about the contractor and their reputation in the business - not about the individual panel manufacturer.
I use net metering on my 29 solar panels, since July 2009 in combination with my utility company. Thru March-April-May-June I build up credits that I use in the Summer for the new AC load. it is never a problem. and very nice the way it is set up - no hassle for the individual homeowner that invests in this for their home. Batteries are very expensive. and wear out in 6 years or less and have then to be replaced - if you need batteries - you might as well just pay the utility co and forget solar - use wind, water or another technology.
Great Article - company is developing in all the good need tech areas - GLTA - new shareholder as of Friday.
Yes D, after close. Saturday would be best. GLTU

Solar3D Completes Acquisition of Profitable and Rapidly Growing Solar Systems Provider
SUNworks, the company’s new wholly owned subsidiary, expects to report 2013 revenue in excess of $8,500,000 and forecasts significant growth in 2014
Santa Barbara, CA – February 3, 2014— Solar3D, Inc. (OTC: SLTD), the developer of a breakthrough 3-dimensional solar cell technology to maximize the conversion of sunlight into electricity, today announced that it has acquired 100% of Solar United Networks, Inc., (SUNworks), a rapidly growing provider of solar systems, based in Roseville, California.
SUNworks, focused on the design, installation and management of solar systems for commercial customers, is one of the fastest growing solar systems providers in California. SUNworks has delivered hundreds of 2.5 kilowatt to 1-megawatt commercial systems and has the capability to deliver systems as big as 25 megawatts. SUNworks expects to report 2013 revenue in excess of $8,500,000 -- higher than originally forecast by the company. Based on the current backlog of orders, SUNworks expects significant top line and bottom line growth in 2014.
”The opportunity represented by SUNworks allows us to immediately participate in the fastest growing segment of the solar industry, while building a growing base of potential customers for our proprietary Solar3D Cell,” said Jim Nelson, CEO of Solar3D. “We are confident, based on all of our internal data and market analysis, that we will have very strong organic growth in 2014. Further, the SUNworks acquisition strengthens our management team, which will allow us to explore additional acquisitions. We intend to turn the solar systems part of our company into one of the fastest growing players in the industry.”
Nelson continued, “One of the great joys of business is working with very competent people who know how to drive a business. The SUNworks team is seasoned and proven, and will be the cornerstone of a powerful supplier of solar systems. Building this line of business will be a key mission of Solar3D.”
Emil Beitpolous, President of SUNworks, said, “Joining Solar3D allows SUNworks to move to the next level as an industry competitor. We share the strategy of connecting with the customer at the end-user level to provide high quality, affordable solar solutions. Solar3D provides the vision and partnership commitment that will help us become an even greater force in our industry.”
According to the recent U.S. Solar Market Insight report by GTM Research and SEIA, the United States is now one of the fastest growing solar markets in the world, with a solar system installed every 4 minutes. The U.S. solar market is poised to grow 30% annually, with a forecast of over 1 million solar installations by 2016. According to SEIA, the solar installations industry was valued at $11.5 billion in 2012, up from $6 billion in 2010. The fastest growing regional market for solar installation is Solar3D’s home state of California, accounting for nearly half of all U.S. solar installations.
Nelson concluded, “One of the few things on which Wall Street and the federal government agree is that solar will be the fastest growing business in the world for years to come. Solar3D has management strength and access to capital resources that will enable us to build a substantial solar systems business, while we continue to focus on the big prize — a proprietary Solar3D Cell.”

GLTA - but History is repeating - a slow burn south - look at the past PR's and judge the weekly price flow - against those news articles. It is a known trend.

The 30% on my 29 solar panels was a key decision maker - for me to go with solar - but that just me saving money - I break even in my net outlay mid 2014. For home owners unless ur in the top 1% of wage earners - it makes a big diff to even GO SOLAR.

good discussion over the weekend. I am now a shareholder/ Thank you
You neglected to answer my question - let me repeat it "Your view? "Solar3D is a developing company that has the theory." OR the companies - if the companies post the link where stated"-
If this is Your theory it will not move the firm. I have solar panels and am well familiar with creation, move prototype to product - an installer is not need right now -- a manufacturer relationship to take the prototype to realization is what is needed - where is this happening?
Not sure the 2 companies will gel for 2014 - MY comment (for now) is based my belief - installers install made product - with no mfg relationship even in planning - we are way behind and an installer added as an expendature - is not the right relationship in 2013 - 2014. If a manufacturer has been planned - who is that?
Your view? "Solar3D is a developing company that has the theory." OR the companies - if the companies post the link where stated. The company they are acquiring is a installer. There are a lot of pieces to get manufacturing accomplished - this company does not do it. (for now)
if it mentioned Genstrip in the 1st 5 seconds - that mistake airing on Monday Night football between the 3rd and 4th qtr - might of reached many people. GL
Thank you
OT - this sums up the case outside of solar I mentioned:

I am looking to buy -but right now I am in DECN - they have patents on their new product, and have gone thru court cases to fight J&J claims - USA patent court recently ruled in their favor on patent expires from Johnson & Johnson.
But agree with another poster - thru XMAS this will stay the same or go down - I do not see a catalyst beside hype to drive higher.
I see this as a California company only - but am interested in the product - until the product gets into intended sales by offering preorder sales - so we can gage interest - we will not know.
