All out. Sold (or my dog did) last week ...the first lots at $1.47 i think it was.
ETRM - $2.41 - I believe that $2.50 is a strike price for ETRM for options. Because of that, MM's may try and pin it, or keep it close to $2.50 today. Or, that's what I'm hoping. If so, I'm out.
ADMP - Thanks Bob. Been reading your postings about it. Am freeing up money on some trades and will look to add soon.
ACST - $1.35 - Seriously? Up $.11 (9%) since mentioning it yesterday. It couldn't wait a day or two more for me?
LXRX - $1.94 BOUGHT 2,800 @ $1.94
Would have liked yesterday's entry, but yesterday is gone. Don't have availability this AM to watch every penny with kids around. So, I'm in at $1.94.
I will day swing/trade this though. Looking to sell before Friday or earlier. I really liked yesterday's 15 Min chart, and it still looks good this AM. Seeing if it can make a pop above $2 today.
hesse, 11% move is fantastic! Make that on every trade and your account will grow like crazy. I'm sitting right there on the RGDX with you. I have 5,000 @ $1.39. Was hoooooooping it would hit the $1.57 100 DMA for my exit.
Also, on plays like this, you need to exit before $heff does. I mentioned that to Smurf the other day. Ideally, I'd wait until RGDX hits $1.69 but if $heff sells before then, I can lose all the profit in a moment's notice. So locking in, AWESOME!
and keeping the wife happy, even more AWESOMER.
LXRX - I have a pre-market order out there for 3,000 shares at $1.85. Can't blame a guy for trying. I wanted to buy yesterday afternoon after seeing your post and then looking at the charts, but ran out of time.
Bob,
Marked your board a good month or two ago. Love your picks and even better, love that your picks send you to Hawaii. With 40mph winter winds today ...Hawaii sounds nice.
Thank you for sharing the good picks and also enjoy reading the Seeking Alpha articles you write.

Am hoding RGDX and if it moves on this story I may sell my holdings. RGDX has a few catalysts still, but will take profit if its there.
I have Fidelity in my 401k which has $7.95 per trade. I sometime see an extra $.05 on a trade with a lot of shares, so they may charge a small fee for that.
I also have TDAMeritrade which has a flat $9.99 fee per trade. I used TDA because they had flat fees for options too. TDA redesigned their web site interface and I haven't used it much recently. I've heard complaints but people just don't like change.
I really like TDA's trading tools. They have the THINKORSWIM platform and also STRATEGY DESK to download and use.
You can do all types of scans and tests, and a whole slew of other things. People also "open source" their screener coding/formulas so you can get some good ideas that way. They'll show Level II, charting of course, and a whole slew of things.
I started writing a few simple screening formulas in the past week via THINKORSWIM. Am trying to have the computer find patterns that my eye/mind can see.
No water in basement :)
It mostly comes into the laundry room which has the drain in the floor, so that all works out well. If it's real bad, then it can reach the other rooms, but i'm pretty good at keeping it from spreading.
LXRX - $1.92 - Am going to join you on this one if it dips on the open and i can get in. I really like the 15 Min chart and the Daily looks good too.
Kids have no school today for teacher institute day, so will be working around that.
it's just annoying water, not real flooding in house. the way our house is built into a hill, its only the 1/4-1/2 inch annoying stuff. that's the worst it could get. but enough to have to move stuff around and stink up the joint for a day or so
ACST $1.24 : High Alert for Me
Data due by June I think. I know Smurf has posted info for ACST before and took a poke at it and was looking for entry again later. I'll post charts later today/tomorrow/early next week.
But it's bottoming out nicely and looks to have a low downside and very good upside. Typically my chart plays have low downside risk.
IMO - It's a low priced BIO that bio-players will be looking to move into over the next two months for the catalyst. With it hugging support, is a good one to keep on radar.
OT: Rain / Sleet / Snow coming for me. Which means possible basement flooding with ground very much frozen. Am distracted with that and getting anything off the basement floor moved.
-----------------
Positive out of it - is another possible fantastic outdoor ice rink with another cold snap coming next week.
CMXI : Here was the info from 2/14/14...was a Jason Napodano (seems to have some good insight ...although *cough* *cough* *DARAsucks_insight* *cough* *cough*
He notes "cash until March" and not through. I haven't looked into that though yet. No time so far.
----------------
from 2/14/14
Heads up FYI: I have been watching CMXI as well...its tanking this AM, found a tweet or two from Jason Napadono re: CMXI...
@JNapodano
-Big seller in $CMXI this morning. Probably inside info on a financing. They have cash until March, so expect a raise VERY soon.
-After the $CMXI financing, do yourself a favor and pick up the shares. Go long into the Stroke trial data in May + top-line acceleration.
-$CMXI top-line is going to "hockey stick" in the coming quarters as both Angel and AutoloGel take off.
CMXI: Looks tempting - Yes. However, I think there's a post about a week or two ago, that I replied to Hesse about CMXI possibly having an offering soon. I believe there was a tweet that I embedded in the post - which was from someone I follow. If memory serves me correctly. I'll dig it up. Otherwise it does look good for a poke upon a quick glance of it. I'll look for that post again.
Great Job! Now - she's gone - an ex-girlfriend.
You can still watch her to learn about your exit, but before thinking about going out with her again, remember there's another bus coming right around the corner.
Reminder to Ned - Don't mix analogies (or medicines :)
NLST : Remember to take your profits. You may have been, just catching up and reminding you.
Also, what was the reason you jumped into this one? Chart setup? Catalyst?
Great job on the call, and the timing of it Smurf!
Nice Trade. I like when money is grabbed when its there for the taking :)
You had HTM pegged, just like so many times for all of us, we want it faster then when it wants it.
Patience... and conviction. Two traits that can help us in all of this.
CHTP - SOLD Yesterday @ $6.30 from $4.46 entry.
I would have liked a better exit but can't complain on a trade that netted me 41% and $1,824 in a few days.
IMO, I was witnessing a bear raid and took a chance, as I was following the stock since before Adcom and liked its chances of approval.
I had traded CHTP on the ADCOM and watched the ADCOM live. I found it interesting. If anyone has the chance to do so next time, It's neat to watch and hear what people are thinking and questions that they are asking.
I've had distractions the last few days and haven't been able to pay close attention CHTP and the markets.
So, just exited the trade when I could.
OT : Trading Obstacles / Distractions
Each one of us is challenged in our "trading / investing" lives by something. Whether that something is an overbearing boss, school studies, an elderly parent to care for, weather emergencies, health issues, or a child bouncing Optimus Prime across your keyboard.
Remember to plan around these "trading obstacles" or to adjust accordingly. When the plan changes, change with the plan. If I don't have proper time to give to the trade, then I remind myself to just "get out."
Your exits should have been already planned before your entries. If not, then re-evaluate them now.
Take one of the off ramps..Trade to fight another day.
Just reminding myself, and as I do, reminding you all as well. Best of Luck!
SARA Sold @ $1.37

Trade Profit $413.15 (17%)
Limited Availability today. Good trade for me.
My mother always said after two it doesn't matter :)
...as its going to be anarchy with two anyway.
We have an 11 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. I had my 11 year old sign a document yesterday stating that when she becomes a teenager, that she'll agree to:
- talk to her parents
- be nice to her parents
I had just looked at her and had one of those, "Is she really 11? How can she be so big already moments.
Hug 'em and hold 'em while you can.
I'm with you on that, and not making a big deal of it. The official Gov web site said "delay 2 hours" to the start day, and also said people could telework, or they could even take the day off if it is allowed with their policy/management.
The following was posted on the Government web site late on Thursday evening at 9:40PM:
link: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/snow-dismissal-procedures/status-archives/14/2/13/Open---2-hours-Delayed-Arrival---With-Option-for-Unscheduled-Leave-or-Unscheduled-Telework_596/
------------------------------
Washington, DC, Area
Applies to: February 14, 2014
STATUS: OPEN - 2 HOURS DELAYED ARRIVAL - WITH OPTION FOR UNSCHEDULED LEAVE OR UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK
Federal agencies in the Washington, DC, area are OPEN under 2 hours DELAYED ARRIVAL and employees have the OPTION FOR UNSCHEDULED LEAVE OR UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK.
Employees should plan to arrive for work no more than 2 hours later than they would be expected to arrive.
------------------------------
If you click on the link to the site, the info stated there goes on to explain that some may telework, some may take the day off if allowed, etc..
At the bottom of the page shows the time of the post (Posted on February 13, 2014 at 9:40 PM). Which would be late at night on Thursday.
I'm assuming FDA people all have lives and families and that just like any of us, in the case of a huge storm, that they have to scramble for daycare for kids, arrange other modes of transportation, etc.
If they had 10 things to do on Friday, its not too far out of the realm to expect that they only got 5 of them, or 7 of them done. It's not too far out to expect that a few things that they had scheduled would have to be pushed back a day or two.
I have no idea when / if the FDA ever contacted CHTP on Friday. I do know that CHTP put out a statement earlier in the day that they had not received any word about the PDUFA. I don't know enough about the exact schedule of the FDA on Friday, and the process involved on the day of the PDUFA.
I don't know if they just didn't get to it, or if they thought they would have time, but decided at the last minute, "Heck, it's getting late and its Valentine's Day - let's all go be with loved ones" and just figure lets deal with it on Tuesday.
When the world revolves around me, I'd like status updates every 15 minutes. But the world has its own pace, and I'm ok with that. No biggie.
Best of Luck to all.
Ok. Thanks. I thought you probably had more already and the new add at the low price was just to top it all off.
Also, there was another post about expecting news pre-market. I'm not expecting anything pre-market as it seems the FDA has some things to finalize yet otherwise an announcement would have been made.
Also, maybe all PR's are worded this way, but CHTP's PR stated "goal date"...
"As a result of severe weather conditions leading to an office closure, FDA today notified Chelsea Therapeutics that the goal date for the Company's NORTHERA NDA has been extended to the next business day, or Tuesday, February 18, 2014."
I'm assuming it all gets done Tuesday. Just thought the wording of "goal date" was an interesting one. Probably means nothing and they may all have it worded that way.
Best of Luck!
If you feel that it is going to be approved and the price will go to $8-9, will you be buying more shares on Tuesday? The closing price was $4.73, and your approval prices are $3-$4 above that. That's great that you got $3.75, but doesn't it make sense to buy more still?
Ok. Thanks.
KIPS $.68 : Daily Chart Review
Here's a review of the KIPS Daily Chart. Both Smurf and I are in this stock at the moment. They had an offering recently at $.70 that has closed. Stock gapped down.
I noticed what looks like could be a similar pattern in KIPS current Daily Chart to that of a pattern from August 8 - September 18th of last year (about 5 weeksish).
Current pattern started around January 21st. So this week would be about 4 weeks. Timing will never be perfect, but IMO this looks like it could be a good opportunity to buy in now or during this upcoming week maybe. There is decent support at $.65 area (but that's not as much fun as saying .66 area). So you may want to buy here and set some stops below $.60.
So, maybe it's time to... Ready?
Get your KIPS on Route $.66.
Trade would be $.66 to $.86(ish) so $.20 move to the gap.
Next target would be $.90 after that.
Something to think about. Risk/Reward. We'll leave that up to you to decide. Best of Luck!
Thank you.
So in a label restrictions case as an example, FDA would say that they'll approve but only under certain label restrictions?
Then CHTP would need time to talk it over with the FDA, and go back and forth about it. Thus the statement today about delaying until Tuesday. Makes sense I guess.
If it were an easy approval or denial, I would think that would be already be finalized.
Question on Approval Procedures if anyone knows.
Does this mean that a decision really hasn't been made and that they all sit around a room and talk it all out for one last time?
It would be my understanding that they have all discussed it and voted on approval / denial and today would be just a formality.
Then once the decision has been made, they contact the company, in this case CHTP and notify them.
Does CHTP have any input then as to what they'll accept or not? Or is it an all or nothing dealio?
Thanks. Weird day.
CHTP - Apparently decision extended until Tuesday due to weather.
I like that better as it was down to $3.60 moments ago. Now at $4.70.
Very strange day. Time to go do laundry :)
I bought a 1,000 shares today on what looked to be a Bear Raid. Down about $600 at moment. Was up $300 at close. Very strange day indeed.
Yeah. No news at all. CHTP did release statements earlier today that they had not heard from FDA, when the stock was halted a few times.
I'll let you know after CHTP gets some news and I change my underwear.
Fantastico! Hope it continues...
I would say that's a YES :)
I have it on my watchlist for future reference for when it cools down. But am hoping for you two that it doesn't cool down.
