Just think
If this keeps going, we might get back to that Ugly Bid of .017 that you labeled just 4 days ago.
What a difference 4 days make!

Lucy, will they be taking questions through Email
this time? I'll ask some questions, but I'll be on the net, not the phone.
Regards
A question about the PP is warranted
(I made a funny). Another good question to ask is the coming increase in A/S. You know they need one. It would be good to know their thoughts on the timing of that.
If they try to fluff their way through an STP sales pitch, Katy bar the door. I look forward to hearing concrete details about how many product SKUs, when the products will hit the stores, which stores will they be hitting, and for bonus points, give us an outlook on potential revenue from those products for 4Q and 1Q2008.
Oh, and someone could ask about tile sales, and then duck quickly.

Today's PR had the desired effect
The bleeding has stopped for now. Where it goes next depends on what they have to say Monday.
Regards
Lucy, if I were buying like you
I would have bought above 2 cents, when you were touting the W%R tech indicator.
I'd also be down over 35% right now.
Thanks, I'll make my own buy decisions based on fundamentals. It can go down farther. Let's hear if they bring the meat Monday.
Regards
LKS?
Sorry, inside joke.
SL will get it. Good luck to you next Monday.

Lucy
They put out a news blurb for CHDT on Thursday on Yahoo. They used the CHDT.OB symbol to make the news item. You click the link, you get redirected to CHDO.OB, and there aren't as yet any financials there.

Guess EDGAR Online didn't get the memo. The really funny thing is, if you click that link on Yahoo, it takes you to a page that says CHDT.OB is no longer valid, that it has changed to CHDO.OB.
You click that link, and it says there are no financials for CHDO.OB.
Glad there is no confusion.
FAQs
What is the ticker symbol for CHDT Corporation?
The stock ticker symbol for CHDT Corporation is CHDT.OB

They've had at least a week to fix the FAQ.
Monday should be interesting. I'll be listening. Bring the Meat, Hold the Fluff!

Hey, that tickled a brain cell
In the midst of a PP, aren't they enjoined from making certain kinds of Press Releases?
Seems to me I've read that before. I believe certain kinds of PRs are OK, but anything that might seem to be a pump is to be avoided.
Ring a bell with anyone else?

WooHoo!
20 bucks to the good, sorta. Premium beer tonight!

Hey, Adrenaline!
Did you check with TDA? Did they charge you 20 bucks? It wasn't clear from their FAQ.

Just as long as they aren't made
from cardboard and anti-freeze, it sounds like a good idea!

Nevermind, just read through a blank Form D
Indeed, there is no place for a per share price, just aggregate offering price, and amount sold thus far.
In any event, 36M shares (shares left in the A/S) at .013 would only raise $468K.
Regards
You have a copy of the Form D filed?
And it doesn't disclose the price to be paid? Can I ask what method you used to get the filing?
Regards
Lucy knows
And you too could know, if you subscribe to EDGAR, or thomson would retrieve the REGDEX for you (it's only 20 something cents per page; if you're holding, or considering it, a wise investment).
Regards
p.s. The PP price has to be above where it currently is trading. You can't raise $500K on what's left of the A/S.
Gonna force their hand
CHDT will have to start talking about the STP products. Bid currently .0136. Is that below the PP price?
If it is, I don't see the PP selling out. That puts a bit of a money squeeze on CHDT, right when they need $$$ to develop and roll out the new STP products.
I feel a PR coming on... :)
Valuation Discontinuity
When the deal for Capstone went down last year, Stewart got roughly 1x sales for his company ($750K cash and $1.25M in CHDT stock). His stock value has retreated to approximately $250K since that time, making his payout now roughly 0.5x sales.
Now, CHDT is mostly Capstone (got tile sales?), and based on my wild guess for 2007 sales, I make CHDT trading at around 5x sales.
Yes, the market is forward looking, but you have to have pretty good eyesight to make out what next year might look like.
Need hard news of STP products. Have to get the A/S news out there and digested. Need a hurricane.
2Q2007 earnings out in about a month. I don't think they'll be encouraging. Look for fluff PR about the time the 10Q is due.
Real hard news would be better, though.
Regards
To be fair
They said they'd be updating the Capstone website in the coming months. The errors will probably be fixed then.
The CHDTCORP website is new, and their stated intent for the new website is:
CHDT Corporation plans on keeping interested parties apprised of happenings within the organization and its subsidiaries through the website. The website will be continually updated with additional content, announcements, and events.
They did put up a news blurb about the symbol change. Who's responsible for making sure the website is consistent (hint: you FAQ page should contain FACTS!)
Regards

What is the $20 mandatory reorganization fee?
Mandatory reorganization fees are charged when there is a reverse stock split, a mandatory cash merger, or exchange of shares where stockholders have no choice in the reorganization (it is mandated by the issuer for all outstanding shares). An example of this would be company mergers or acquisitions. Where these actions are not open market transactions, they will require TD AMERITRADE to re-register the affected stock under a new CUSIP via manual entries on your account. This fee is charged to cover the cost to TD AMERITRADE to re-register the stock and to facilitate the reorganization in your account.
===
Not quite sure if it applies in CHDO's case, it's not a reorganization, right. Still, they have mandated an exchange of shares for all shareholders. Give TDA a call, adrenaline.
Regards
That would bite
That's almost like a 1000+ share tax at these levels.
Are you sure about TDA charging for swapping street name shares?
Why wouldn't the company pick up the tab?
Regards
You letting slip that it is for $500K
will be our little secret. I can infer that the price is something less than .0177 per share, based on the $500K figure, the O/S of 564M, and the fact that they issued an 8K for the PP (only necessary for PPs in excess of 5% of O/S for SB filers).
If the PP is fully subscribed, CHDO will be at 590~600M shares. Time to increase the A/S, I think.
I don't think EDGAR will come after you about the $500K figure. We'll keep it on the down low.
Regards
Does EDGAR have the price
at which the shares are being sold?
Regards
Hey Lucy, question
about that PP. Didn't you say it was for $500K? Can I ask where you got that figure?
Regards
Oh, the head's up somewhere, I'm sure
They probably got caught off guard by the symbol change.
Stuff happens. Not really a big deal. It'll trade fine under CHDO, soon.
Haven't been able to get the new website yesterday and today; maybe they're doing another update.
Still haven't seen: Simply Comfort MP3 pillow, a description of the STP products, and their roll out schedule, news of tile sales, or a hurricane this year (watch one brew up now).
2nd quarter sales will probably be pretty lean (due out in a month), so they'd better get something going on the news front. This stock could get a whole lot weaker.

So, who dropped the ball. You make a name change to CHDT Corp., create a new website chdtcorp.com, and then you do a symbol change to CHDO?
What's up with that?
Yes it is strange
That's why I think it's just a cookie-cutter third party link webpage that WSI plonked down for chdtcorp.com, in order to get the website out the door and live online.
I don't think they really mean to say that chdt has no control over what capstone does or puts on a website.
That would be silly. Wait for the new capstone website, and let's see if they keep the disclaimer.
I think they won't. It's just placeholder html code, for now.
Regards
The more I reread the website disclaimer
the more I believe it's just a template page from WSI's book of website construction material.
They have Capstone and OBS as third party links. The disclaimer reads as generic lawyer speak for a third party link.
I think the page will be changed as chdtcorp.com gets fleshed out, and capstoneindustries.com gets revamped.
I don't think they're presaging any imminent PRs.
Regards
That's kinda cheesy

Capstone's website is not under control of CHDT Corp?? Come again? How's that?? You're joking, right?
It's a B2B show
I doubt there will be many end-user types at the show.
Why don't we wait until CHDT tells us what exactly the products are and when and where they will be sold before we decide which quarter's revenue will be impacted?
Regards
I suppose it's possible
the products could come earlier, but the event notice said they'd be debuting the products at the show. To me, that means, they haven't been seen before.
The show is 1/3rd of the way through 4th quarter. It's possible we won't know the financial impact of these new products for another 9+ months (10KSB due in April 2008).
I'm surprised they're debuting at a business to business show; I'd have thought Capstone had their retail outlets all lined up already. Maybe they are going for wider distribution that what Capstone currently has.
Anyway, I think it's too soon to get too excited by the products. Let's hear what they are, and when they'll be sold first.
Regards
Interesting
The deadline for getting into the show was Feb 5th, 2007.
They're paying either $4K or $6K in booth rental, depending on some affiliate membership status.
Here's their booth #940
You might be able to get an idea about the new products by researching what their booth neighbors do:

(You might have to scroll around to get to #940)
Interesting Nugget

They didn't meet your end of quarter deadline for Nasdaq and SEC recognition of the name change. Both still think the company is called "China Direct Trading Corporation" as of today.
That means the accountants have a real headache in front of them when they do third quarter financials, right?

There's a chance the update to the website
will look something like this:
