True. That’s a good question. ... Could it be KT? Who else has a 1m plus to throw around?
The facts are that we have reached a virtual standstill. No one is selling anything of substance under 250k in total. This was mostly no fee traders for less than 15k shares. Only two trades bigger. Somebody made a mistake selling at .067 for 29k shares in the morning and, perhaps an attempt to repositioning for seller at .069 for 133k shares near the close. As for the buy side, lucky trader at .067 and determined buyer at .069 since .070 looks like a cap at the moment.
I don’t see a break through .07 unless news in the morning or some very good rumor of very good news coming next week. I say this because there is a 1m plus order to sell at .070. That would have to be overcome or lifted to move through .070.
.068 on the ask flipped to a bid. .070 on the ask ove 1m to sell. And, better than average volume with some nibbles on .070.
Yes, the 3rd being to think deeply. ... you had me laughing so hard that I was crying.
Yes, I guess it would be boring if we were all singing the same tune. Kind of like reality shows have to have drama or at least the producers of them see that need to attract viewers whether real or contrived.
I sooner than later we will all be singing a similar tune. And, that will be blissfully boring. It will be awe inspiring detachment from the gravitational pull from single digits.
And, glad you keep the humor going. Did you get my message about you giving me 2 of 3 essentials for my day?
“If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.” - Jim Valvano, accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage and Humanitarian Award at the ESPY Awards in March 1993.
Okay. Yes, more options since you don’t trust the CEO. I personally don’t give BK an option either as I believe all the so called concerns raised here in the last day or so are actually either no real issue at all or an issue easily overcome in the very near term. ... you at the least believe there is enough good news coming in the near term to keep your shares hoping for that dime. :)
For me, this is peanuts either way. There are 3 options here: BK, Buyout, or extreme growth. The peanuts of salary owed are peanuts for all 3.
Hey, golferman, did you take a swing?
“Life if on the wire, everything else is just waiting” by Karl Walenda
Glad you are staying for 10,001. :)
Jet, I agree. I haven’t been on here a full year but I see how the tenor changes when PRs don’t come timely. It’s rather humorous. I don’t see any reason for it fundamentally. But, I do understand the impatience from the standpoint of having waited so long with shareholders’ own skin in the game. Nevertheless, hope abides.
You are right, Col. This is an easy statement to take one way or another and also add one’s own thoughts based on one’s own bias. ... Yet, I find it hard to ignore that they (Vietnam) don’t have skin in the game at this point. ... not a lot but enough to think that if they like what they see the ball will move forward very quickly.
Silk,
I think you need to start with the first assumption. Kim isn’t submitting without knowing the results already through KBLB’s own testing. So, unless Vietnam is going to not play straight up, then, we don’t have a problem. Yes, I would think this as standard protocol for the reasons you are assuming (ie a little more money for testing fees and make sure there aren’t any control issues and their own curiosity to see, touch, understand the science, etc.).
I saw a stock up 309.86% today due to a buyout coming (IMDZ) ... contrary to mojo’s thinking of course. ... at any rate, we are too early for a 3x buy out. It will be interesting to see if Summer 2020 holds good for you. If Truth only posts twice a month, he might make it there. :)
Truth, thanks for everything.
Since that is the case, please no more using posts for responses. :) Save all the rest for relevant info on KBLB. And no responses to those either unless it is absolutely necessary. Of course, you can have the 10,000 th be your official farewall. :) You’ll certainly be missed. Oh well. Maybe, if you conserve them enough, we’ll get a buyout before then, and the board itself will become either useless or of very little use.
All the best! Go KBLB!
Hi golfer. Should I say ‘welcome to the board?’
It depends on who you ask here. There are plenty of skeptics. But, I don’t hear much or really any that it is complete and total nonsense (maybe one exception to that). Mostly, I hear knocks on the CEO and that he has taken forever to get to this point and it will likely be many more months or years before we see true success (i.e. viable proof of mass production with quality and consistency, producing commercial purchase orders, Army contract new or amended/extended with more $$s, and possible partnership with say UA has been mentioned) ... if ever. Some are skeptics but traders anyway seeing the potential catalysts this year, I suppose but still knocking the CEO.
There is virtually no short interest ie about $2k in KBLB because of the fear of what they might wake up to tomorrow.
I’m long and strong but have 40% of my holdings for trading purposes on a pop.
I second the motion! And Is have it! .... tomorrow now is actually Friday. So one or the other will be fine. Otherwise, we can have a shareholders march on Ann Arbor, MI, demanding our right to timely and good news of fantastic progress! ... this is our fight song! ... ‘Go KBLB!’ .. not ‘Hail to the Victors’ although that’s a good one too.
Go KBLB! Do your best!
Remember who your fighting for!
It’s Col, Banana, Mojo, and all the rest!
You can do it!!! Success upon success!
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. – Andy Dufresne, The Shawshank Redemption
Nobody said that exactly. But, his tongue is in his cheek. Es1 thought .085 initially but backed off to .075 for no news. I still thought momentum could or might carry it through to .085. I didn’t say that it would. ... it still might but today’s price action doesn’t look promising. At any rate, news is coming sooner or later and that’s what we will all hold for anyway. If the pps gets too low, then, I’ll add more.
Short interest in KBLB. Under 30k shares - not much... because their scared of what they might wake up to...
KRAIG BIOCRAFT LABORATORIES INC (OTCMKTS:KBLB) had a decrease of 16.49% in short interest. KBLB’s SI was 23,800 shares in February as released by FINRA. Its down 16.49% from 28,500 shares previously. The stock decreased 1.67% or $0.0012 during the last trading session, reaching $0.0705. About 645,660 shares traded or 8.93% up from the average. Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. Growing interest in using natural “smart” fibers
January 1st, 2019 / By: Debra Cobb / Advanced Textiles, Markets
Shown here are Kraig Biocraft Labs’ spider
silk hanks from bioengineered silkworms. Photo: Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc.
Since the industrial revolution, textiles have transitioned from natural fibers of cotton, wool, silk and linen to textiles created from petroleum products and reconstituted wood pulp. Today’s synthetic fibers are stronger, cheaper to manufacture, and have proven easily adaptable to a wide range of technical, performance and smart textiles, to the benefit of modern life. ...
...
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc., based in Ann Arbor, Mich., brings us bioengineered Dragon Silk™, currently undergoing ballistic testing to U.S. Army standards. Spun by genetically engineered silkworms, Dragon Silk is extremely strong and flexible, biocompatible and biodegradable. Kraig has developed its silkworms to work within the current methods of silk production and is in the process of building a production facility in Vietnam.

Don’t think I saw this posted. KBLB got the lead photo and one paragraph in this article.
So true. And, today, we have greater than average volume trading above 0.071 and closed yesterday above it. This was the key resistance level from last summer.
Closed above .071. Major resistance last Summer.
A lot of nibbling on the .072 ask. Looks yummy for some. Unfortunately, I am fully loaded.
Yeah, not a very bold prediction.
Mojo, ‘sustained’ will probably be right. But, that also means a move to .085 first is possible, yet not sustained, and then a descending pull back to either .06 or .05 until good news does come. We’ll see.
Let’s get this right. Either news will come out that will send this share price soaring or no news will come out this month and possibly next too and the share prices will drop because weak handed traders will grow weary of waiting. IMO, there will be no news that is ho hum this time.
In looking at the price action today, I am going to guess that .071 doesn’t hold even with no news. I think .075 can be reached again and possibly. .085 just as es1 indicated. If no news, the share price pulls back from one of those two levels.
Mojo, Kim is a lawyer. As such, he will parse his words to cover himself. It’s that simple. No need to read more in to it at this point.
The share price is having trouble with .071 ... not .070. Whoever is blocking is just fine to let the trade be at .07 and even close there which we did Thursday. But .071 is the bigger obstruction as was around last Aug-Sep.
“of course you do”
You are hilarious. I love it. ... Exhibit A below. You have me laughing to tears sometimes its so funny. Thanks! :)
“I think its pitiful...and I think if the manager of my neighborhood 7-11 had been the ceo, we'd have been successful 4 yrs ago..”
That’s true in theory. And, yes, I don’t mind. There is asymmetrical play here where risk of 4.5% dilution is far outweighed by the potential reward of mass production, contract announcements, etc. is more than worth it.
Okay, Mojo. But, I didn’t see a comment about other specs being worse in providing information to shareholders. The reality is KBLB is penny stock spec. So, you shouldn’t expect Fortune 500 treatment.
I don’t think the communication is that bad especially of late. But, I know there are old wounds which I personally didn’t attached to because my investment here was small that I didn’t care one way or another. I was willing to wait to see if they could actually to mass production. We can debate the timing of that and level of scale but I see it happening now and more so in the next months. We will see this revealed. So, it’s time to get on board or be left behind when they do announce a UA partnership or something of the sort. I think your right... if that happened, $1 wouldn’t stand as resistance.
Thanks, WebSlinger. That’s 4.5%. Not too bad. I will be interested to see what it is when they report for the most current year ... looks like late March. Should be zero dilution now. Right? That’s what I understood from prior posts a while back. Or is report date a little later?
Mojo, I will attempt to defend this. First, I know it is hard to do (for you to acknowledge and let go of or forgive previous years of lack of or miscommunications) but I think the communication is much better in the last year than any proceeding year. In this, I would say that you have to allow for the possibility of growth and letting Jon Rice step forward in that regard (i.e. the so called sucky CEO delegating knowing his weaknesses). Another reason for the possible lighter amount communication is the attempt to not upset shareholders with a fluffy PR that doesn’t help the share price anyway ( again learning from mistakes). ... another thought that I have been having is that investors / traders here are not even patient enough during the time between updates. I think we have at least been getting updates every one to three months since last spring. But, once we reach a month on here, we hear the clamors for more PRs. Where is my PR??? Like some child screaming to be fed. Don’t large public companies typically generally give quarterly updates (i.e. earnings reports) and only more if something relevant needs to come out? And I know that I have seen some other small specs like this only put out PRs for relevant news maybe 1 to 3 times a year. I do think we should see more frequent news this year with all that is coming but the investors / traders on here shouldn’t freak out if it goes longer than a month between PRs. ... just my thoughts and opinion.
That’s about what I thought. Btw, you missed or forgot the day it spiked off .035 ... it was well below .045 but didn’t stay long. ... the share price settled and moved up to mid .04s that day, I think definitely above .04. So, you may refer to the close. Then, trade in high .04s until the news in early Jan. Yes, that news is very bullish. .0735 - .049 / .049 = 50%. So, ho hum (non- bullish) news will take us up another 50% from here.
But, I recommend you start unloading your shares at .095 since it will never break .10 and continue trading in this same range since summer 2016. You will need that $.005 runway since no one will think twice about it actually going above a dime. So, you will need to get ahead of the other sellers. Enjoy that dime ... rounded up of course because KBLB’s CEO sucks forever! Ha, ha.
Mojo, you are hilarious. The share price is under .04. KBLB sucks. The share price is a nickel! Has been and always will be ... such a pathetic company. The share price is under .06 but it is not going any higher as it is sorry company with a sorry CEO. The share price is under .07 and the news is CERTAINLY NOT bullish. What gave you that idea???
So, the share price moves 50% in a month and nothing to see here? Please.
What will the story be when you finally get your measly dime? ;)
Love this quote:
“It’s the classic “asymmetric trade”—where the potential payoff so far outweighs the risk that it can make overnight millionaires.”
I don’t think there is will be a similar outcome as September to November. But, if there is such a pull back, bring it on. I will buy with both fists!
Where KBLB is at:
The U.S. Military Will Develop Futuristic, Special Ops "Body Suits" Using One of the Strangest Materials You've Ever Heard Of…
moth
It might look like a creature out of Star Wars, but this “super silk moth” could hold the key – and the magical DNA – to capturing a $140 billion market.
You’re looking at what we believe could be the next big biotech breakthrough.
Yes, it looks like an average silk moth.
It hatched out of a cocoon like any other silk moth… but it’s special in one critical way: This little guy created his cocoon with an incredible new kind of silk made from spider DNA.
Scientists are riveted by this new material because of its extraordinary properties…
it’s four times tougher than Kevlar…
74% stronger than steel…
absolutely bullet-proof…
and it has the elasticity and lightness of nylon.
The virtues of spider silk have been known for centuries. But until now, no one has been able to produce enough of it for industrial use.
The one time it was seriously tried, it took more than a million spiders and 70 people working for four years to make a single piece of fabric measuring 11 by 4 feet.
Not exactly cost-effective.
But now a lab in Michigan has found a way to produce spider silk another way… by inserting specific gene sequences from the golden orb-weaving spider into silkworms.
The silkworm then spins a recombinant fiber incorporating spider silk proteins.
Textiles woven from this new silk are lighter than Kevlar and not nearly as stiff as synthetic materials like high molecular weight polymers.
And unlike nylon they don't melt, making them perfect for body armor.
Imagine… all but bullet-proof special ops that can be dropped into Tehran… Damascus… even Pyongyang with the ability to move as they please for reconnaissance or retrieval…
special forces
Body armor equipped with this company’s “ballistic shootpack panels” bring our special ops closer to “Spider-Man Suits”… and they’re bringing this lab closer to exclusive defense partnerships.
These “miracle fibers” could also be extremely useful in medicine.
The human body doesn't reject this fiber like it does other materials. So the silk could be used as hair-thin sutures for nerve surgery and skin grafts.
The money has already started flowing…
This firm has landed a $1 million contract with the Army to produce a genetically modified “spider silk” for protective armor for soldiers.
Granted, it's a modest sum, but things at Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (OTCMKTS: KBLB) are progressing quickly…
The company recently announced its strongest silk to date… it’s had a breakthrough in its development cycle—creating in minutes the same amount of silk that used to take a full day to produce… it just delivered a prototype bundle of “ballistic shootpack panels” to Fort Riley for evaluation… and it’s ramped up production at its subsidiaries in Vietnam.
Investors have taken notice of these milestones… the stock better than doubled in the 6 months leading up to last fall, turning each $10,000 stake into $22,300.
How much upside do we project for a stock like this? We’re not putting a limit on it.
After all, we’re talking about a tiny company with just five employees that has the patent on a process that could make Kevlar obsolete… and disrupt the $140 billion technical fiber market.
It's a speculative play, for sure. And there are no guarantees.
But the stock is currently so cheap that you can pick up 5,000 shares for the cost of a nice dinner.
It’s the classic “asymmetric trade”—where the potential payoff so far outweighs the risk that it can make overnight millionaires.
WebSlinger, I don’t even think it will take this long but mark my post for December 31st to revisit all your points below. All the best to you in 2019. :)
I’m sure this is difficult for you. I don’t have your doubts though. I can see progress and the outcome to me is quite clear. I think banana said it right. Let’s revisit this discussion December 31st. I think a lot will be clearer. ... of course, what is known then will also be cause for other questions, but share price will have moved substantially due to what is known then such that there won’t be these thoughts or questions.
You ain’t seen nothing yet!!!
