As to claiming victory, if my wish would have come true at your expense, yes, I would have enjoyed claiming victory. :)
Mojo I said possibly when the price action was still reasonable good. After volume turned down below average and I saw that .07 had a big wall on tue ask. It looked clear that we wouldn’t break through without news. I said as much in several posts. I am not going to go back and find them for your reference. If you are interested, you can find them and read them if you haven’t already.
Yes, it was my response to Chompie. It was #150005 ... my response to #149999.
Unfortunately, I don’t use really low limit orders to buy. I should start doing that. I know someone on here had low .05s on. Sure their happy. ... by the way, I am not aware that anyone can use stop orders. So, this was a generous seller filling limit orders. I could speculate on this action further as it happens so frequently before big news but I’ll stop at that. It’s a buying opportunity. I will be adding. Thanks!
Mojo, you are always twisting the words. Why don’t you ever go back and find the exact posts that say exactly that? Because you can’t. ... es1 may have said this when it was initially flying up but he backed off when he saw resistance in the low .07s. ... I said could, possibly, maybe.... I also said this action from today would happen as recent as a post the day before yesterday (#149999) if we didn’t get PR soon.
Any sellers are very foolish now. It’s one thing to sell in the high .06s with stone wall at .07 and no news forthcoming. And, quite another to sell here.
Bob, I appreciate the input. I know it is speculation. But, I will wait and let KBLB speak for itself now. I don’t believe your 2022 prediction has any merit. ... and yesI will still be here and shareholder assuming no buyout before 2022. So, you can say I told you so. :) or 12/31/2019 which my prediction i.e. 2019.
Truth, this is as predictable as the seasons of the year. You can go back to just before the Army contract was announced. It sold down to nearly .01 right before that from around .02 when it did that. Next Monday not sure but it seemed, the contract is announced and off to the races. Same happened in October before a PR on Monday.
You aren’t seeing it. That’s I guess to be expected. How many months do you think Kraig and the Army were talking before that contract was drafted and signed? And the 2nd phase to fill the large order for the other $900k. Do you think that was for samples? They delivered the shoot packs for that and testing. And these shirt are on a delayed roll out compared to the other elements until this summer. Kraig was supposed to deliver the materials sooner ... this past August? as I recall. They are getting close to delivery or already have or in process of delivering the materials that are being used for these shirts that will roll out this summer.
Now, was it that hard for you to see? I guess. My Dad used to say that if he had sold a house during the peak of a housing boom that ‘he would have been fat, dumb, and happy’. I know that doesn’t apply exactly. But, I think we are going have that great feeling of getting something awesome that we may not fully deserve. Enjoy mojo!
Hey, Col, if you read the latest article that AMOTE1 posted, you’ll see highlighted the last paragraph. I think that is pretty straight forward to. ... just putting 2 and 2 together. Looks to me like there is more progress than some have speculated. They are probably working under wraps with the Army until they get the all clear.
I kind of wish I had the nerve to ‘bet the farm’ so to speak. It is starting to really feel like an absolute no brainer. I guess we can wait and chase it a little assuming we can still catch it early.
No, I don’t think so. ... But, I do think the share price would probably act positively in that case. ... I don’t think it will be necessary. If the success is known factor in Vietnam (instead of US side), the Bank of Vietnam could do the lending. ... not cheap terms though:
Reports from the Ho Chi Minh Securities Company showed that the rates rose by 0.46 percentage points against the end of last year to 7-9 per cent per year for short-term loans and 9-12.5 per cent for medium and long-term loans.

Next news to settle funding is increased $$s in Army contract not a line of credit. Kim could of course use the contract to obtain the line of credit. ... IMO
For one second, I thought KBLB was also going to produce in Thailand. ;)
Hi Chompiee,
I’m casting the broad net ... 2019. I know that seems a lot for an impatient holder. And, yes, a long silence with an inevitable pull back into the .05s is possible. I’m not playing for it though.
If I had to guess sooner this year is much more likely than later. So, I’m locked loaded in spite of the wall we see at .07.
I firmly believe the next PR will be significantly positive. I don’t think you will see anything modest or fluffy just to attempt to pacify investors thirst for news. If they wanted to, they could have done that already. Even, if Kim and Jon never see this board, I’m sure they hear about the discontentment through one way or another. I think Kim is really smarter than some give credit. He’s no salesman. He’s an attorney and caution with every step and word is the name of the game. So, when the milestone is clearly checked off with zero possibility of any contention with it (i.e. signed contract(s), agreements, certain verified scales of production in Vietnam, etc.), then, we will hear or just a little afterwards.
Quality products (spider silk) tend to sell themselves (to Vietnam) when they are at the same cost as a very similar product. Who wouldn’t want better for the same price or close to the same price knowing you (Vietnam) have the early lock on something you can make and sell a lot more due the increased quality and novelty of the newness of it.
Gosh, it’s a no-brainer. ;) Hmmm wonder what that next PR will be.
Yes, Mojo, it’s not cryptic. You think we are drinking Kim’s cool aid. But, you are the one with dusty glasses from all those years of delays and ‘false’ starts to mass production. You can’t see the truth hiding in plain sight.
Somebody took the opportunity to buy 200k shares on the weakness. The share price had dropped to .066 on low volume and someone said 200k please at .068. Thank you!
Any one interested in taking their next vacation to Vietnam? Ha, ha.
Col, thanks pointing this out. It’s really not very cryptic. But, with all the delays and ‘miss starts’ in the last 6 years, I am not sure it will move the needle. We’ll see. I don’t see any significant selling though. Everyone is waiting on that next PR looks like.
Hi Banana, today, number of shares on the ask was less at .070. It was around 250k. But, we don’t have much volume at all. So, without PR, we have to either have some bigger player want in and bully their way in which would push us higher. Or, some current news out of Vietnam would be great. Or, something clearer on the latest speculation on what Ken Le was wearing and answers for what it might mean as far a partner. ... so I don’t think it too likely without a PR. But, we are holding up very well. IMO, we are stuck right here between .065-.070 until the next PR. There is just too much possible positive news that everyone is just holding their breath for. So, sb no big seller wanting out either.
Definitely KBLB referred to and definitely spells out a lot of pre-planning:
“We also work with a US partner and have been allowed by the Ministry of Science and Technology to set up a genetically engineered silkworm laboratory suitable for research to improve productivity and efficiency. Mulberry growing. I think that it is now possible to set the goal of restoring and developing silkworm silkworm farming, coming from the market signals, by a very close link between enterprises and people. Scaling up of silkworm mulberry planting models must be closely linked with policies to ensure output for farmers to rest assured production.”
WebSlinger, that would be here:

... which I now see Zenaku posted as well. Thanks, Zenaku.
KBLB’s 2019 chart ...

I would definitely recommend g-force training. That’s on topic. :)
Kraig Biocraft accelerates product development
19th September 2018, Ann Arbor, MI
The company says its genetic engineering research has succeeded in developing a practical and cost-effective technology for producing recombinant spider silk-based fibres on an industrial scale.
“... has succeeded ...”
If people didn’t need validation for this fact, the share price would already have soared. It went into the .20s on much less.
Quang Nam’s growth due to infrastructure spending in recent years makes it a good place for investors.

That’s okay. Thanks for the effort. I guess Truth is on top of everything latest.
If you can put it in an email, you can certainly post it here. You could certainly type the header of the article as Truth suggested and he could find and post it. I don’t think anyone will post their email for you.
You must live in Missouri. ;) I know that the past set backs have a way of creating this mindset. ... I guess it doesn’t matter if you are fully loaded and not buying or selling until you see with your own eyes.
The U.S. Military Will Develop Futuristic, Special Ops "Body Suits" Using One of the Strangest Materials You've Ever Heard Of…
moth
It might look like a creature out of Star Wars, but this “super silk moth” could hold the key – and the magical DNA – to capturing a $140 billion market.
You’re looking at what we believe could be the next big biotech breakthrough.
Yes, it looks like an average silk moth.
It hatched out of a cocoon like any other silk moth… but it’s special in one critical way: This little guy created his cocoon with an incredible new kind of silk made from spider DNA.
Scientists are riveted by this new material because of its extraordinary properties…
it’s four times tougher than Kevlar…
74% stronger than steel…
absolutely bullet-proof…
and it has the elasticity and lightness of nylon.
The virtues of spider silk have been known for centuries. But until now, no one has been able to produce enough of it for industrial use.
The one time it was seriously tried, it took more than a million spiders and 70 people working for four years to make a single piece of fabric measuring 11 by 4 feet.
Not exactly cost-effective.
But now a lab in Michigan has found a way to produce spider silk another way… by inserting specific gene sequences from the golden orb-weaving spider into silkworms.
The silkworm then spins a recombinant fiber incorporating spider silk proteins.
Textiles woven from this new silk are lighter than Kevlar and not nearly as stiff as synthetic materials like high molecular weight polymers.
And unlike nylon they don't melt, making them perfect for body armor.
Imagine… all but bullet-proof special ops that can be dropped into Tehran… Damascus… even Pyongyang with the ability to move as they please for reconnaissance or retrieval…
special forces
Body armor equipped with this company’s “ballistic shootpack panels” bring our special ops closer to “Spider-Man Suits”… and they’re bringing this lab closer to exclusive defense partnerships.
These “miracle fibers” could also be extremely useful in medicine.
The human body doesn't reject this fiber like it does other materials. So the silk could be used as hair-thin sutures for nerve surgery and skin grafts.
The money has already started flowing…
This firm has landed a $1 million contract with the Army to produce a genetically modified “spider silk” for protective armor for soldiers.
Granted, it's a modest sum, but things at Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (OTCMKTS: KBLB) are progressing quickly…
The company recently announced its strongest silk to date… it’s had a breakthrough in its development cycle—creating in minutes the same amount of silk that used to take a full day to produce… it just delivered a prototype bundle of “ballistic shootpack panels” to Fort Riley for evaluation… and it’s ramped up production at its subsidiaries in Vietnam.
Investors have taken notice of these milestones… the stock better than doubled in the 6 months leading up to last fall, turning each $10,000 stake into $22,300.
How much upside do we project for a stock like this? We’re not putting a limit on it.
After all, we’re talking about a tiny company with just five employees that has the patent on a process that could make Kevlar obsolete… and disrupt the $140 billion technical fiber market.
It's a speculative play, for sure. And there are no guarantees.
But the stock is currently so cheap that you can pick up 5,000 shares for the cost of a nice dinner.
It’s the classic “asymmetric trade”—where the potential payoff so far outweighs the risk that it can make overnight millionaires.
This is progress towards mass production. ... Not just progress in the lab. Let’s not minimize or downplay it. As Banana says, this is a buying opportunity. The greater investor public hasn’t caught on yet. And, the ones who know and believe are tapped out on their buying at the moment. Nobody is mortgaging the farm but this spec is an asymmetrical play worth every penny and more based on the potential.
Just copy the link and paste it here.
Mojo, if you see the potential, why always be the Devil’s advocate? You must just enjoy the drama.
We have one thing in common. We both bought in the last year or so seeing the progress being made and what it could mean for further progress and the increase in share price.
If you see potential beyond your dime, no need for your limit orders. Take 33-40% off at 3x to 4x. Let the rest ride. If comes back to your dime, add 15-20% back and enjoy the ride with more shares going up to the moon.
All the best.
Hey Truth,
I do understand. I lived it but with very little skin in the game. But, I saw it. I know the reason for your expression.
Another thing I do know and see is the progress. Kim laid it all out on a conference call a few years ago. I think it was the one after Jon was hired. The skeptics back then scoffed at it and he had very little come back on that call. I could tell he didn’t know how to communicate very well to allay the concerns for why it hadn’t happened to that point. But, he did lay out the plan. And, he has executed to it. We are there now. Mass production is this year.
I am here to encourage you. This is the year!!! I know it has been a roller coaster ride to get here. But, you are at platform of the launch pad. Enjoy the ride! Don’t let the g-forces rip your giddy face off when it happens.
All the best!
The problem with that is time has elapsed and progress has been made. It’s not Groundhog Day all over again. I made my prediction and it stands. It happens this year. Put your .095-.099 limit orders in good til cancelled. No reason for you to take the ride any higher since that’s where your belief stops. EOD. Let’s talk 12/31/2019.
Indeed! All I hear now from them is many, many, many, etc. months. Hilarious. This rocket ship is about to leave the platform to the moon! Critics will be silenced.
“isn’t making ANY...”
Just plain wrong...
You don’t know. They took two weeks to announce the Army contract after signing. ... this says things are moving faster now:
… it’s had a breakthrough in its development cycle—creating in minutes the same amount of silk that used to take a full day to produce… it just delivered a prototype bundle of “ballistic shootpack panels” to Fort Riley for evaluation…
I just think Ben should own his miss speak and apologize at least. His ‘no brainer’ comment did get people thinking PRs in Feb. It didn’t effect my buy decisions but I would think it had some influence on the timing at least of others. ... which that’s not necessarily a bad thing as long as the share price doesn’t go a little south before there really is a PR and whoever bought continues to hold. Neither of which is a guarantee.
Es1, I think your chart is saying good news is coming. But, charting is not an exact science as you noted. Still better than a coin flip. And, if you have that and play your cards right, you have the makings of a WSOP final table. ... to use a poker metaphor. We are backing a winner! Enjoy the ride!
