ISED field test TNW Wireless network and immediately revoke cellular licenses for non-compliance with Conditions of License.
CRTC should disqualify TNW Wireless Inc. application before them on eligibility basis. TNW Wireless Inc. is not a bona fide wireless carrier in Canada as no licensed spectrum in their name, no wireless subscriber base, no tested roaming agreements with US and International Carriers and a network that is not fully functional.
Is TNW Wireless in violation of ISED Conditions of Licence?
If iPCS is such a great idea, why hasn't UAMA, Investel, TNW found a marquee customer somewhere in the world?
How many subscribers has TNW Wireless activated?
Why aren't the spectrum licences in the name of TNW Wireless?
Is the TNW Wireless network operational?
Investel Capital Corp. the purported parent is in Receivership and all assets at risk. Where's the upside?
Decimated and hollowed out by bankruptcy. Where are the financials? Where is the cash flow? Where is the going concern?
Bankruptcy has hollowed out this business. Fact check. Businesses owed over $40M and now desperate to collect any cash. Read the trustees report: http://documentcentre.eycan.com/eycm_library/8640025%20Canada%20Inc%20(dba%20Telephone%20Navigata-Westel%20Communication)%20&%20Telephone%20Data%20Centers%20Inc/English/Monitor's%20Reports/Seventeenth%20Report%20of%20the%20Monitor,%20dated%20June%206,%202018.PDF
CRTC and ISED not the problem. TNW Wireless Inc. never did fully understand the wireless industry and technology or they wouldn't have wasted company cash, resources and time on such an initiative. If UAMAs iPCS was worth anything they would have found US and International customers for it by now and it would be generating income. Fact is UAMA, Investel, TNW et al never had the requisite knowledge or industry contacts to move the business forward. Rank and file within the wireless industry views them as clowns!
Benoit Laliberte, UAMA CEO, is personna non grata in the wireless and telecom industry in Canada. The competing carriers dislike him, The banks and lenders don't like him and he has done as masterful job of destroying any goodwill that UAMA, Investel or TNW et al ever had. Funny how that works! It was and is so egregious that a Canadian Judge commented on the business practices of Benoit Laliberte and entered it into the court record. Ask around. Caveat Emptor
Look for the CRTC to uphold their earlier decision on Wi-Fi. It never made sense and Rogers last intervention comments are well written and well reasoned. iPCS is DOA! Ask around. Caveat Emptor
Consumers may have a complaint in Canada, but it won't help TNW Wireless Inc.!
Truly pathetic whining! The CRTC oversees a much larger number of carriers than the big three. The TNW Wireless initiative was just junk, poorly thought out and not compatible with a worldwide approach to cellular and Wi-Fi. In the process of running down the "Wi-Fi as a home network" idea they passed up opportunities to generate nearly immediate cash flow and profitability. But hey, who said UAMA, Investel, TNW etc. was all about building a viable business?
Where are the financial reports?
CCAA Proceedings (bankruptcy protection) filed by largest operating subs and still in process. Court approved sale of largest source of cash flow has been closed, effectively hollowing out the business. Ask around perform due diligence. Caveat Emptor!
Investel Capital Corp., the so-called parent company now in Receivership with all IP and other key assets claimed by creditors.
Most troubling UAMA CEO convicted on over 40 counts of stock fraud and stock manipulation and he serves as CEO of US pubco without an SEC waiver.
Many inconvenient truths with UAMA. Caveat Emptor!
Some posters here apparently don't like to deal with the facts!
Ask about the CCAA Proceedings (Bankruptcy in Canada) that, under this CEO, were entered by the Companies to delay the inevitable failure.
Ask about the wireless initiatives and iPCS.
Ask about the IP portfolio and ownership of the patents.
Ask the UAMA CEO what exactly has been accomplished in the past year? New contracts with marquee accounts? Growing revenue? What then?
UAMA CEO should release the overdue financials.
UAMA CEO has "poisoned the well" with banks and institutional investors and he's managed to earn his personna non grata status with them.
If the latest UAMA Cryptocrap was worth anything they would have institutional investors or significant customers lining up to partner with them.
UAMA CEO espoused great promise for their legal claims based on patent infringement. As Investel Capital Corporation, the purported parent company, is now in the hands of a court appointed Receiver with all of the key IP and patents about to be distributed to the creditors.
UAMA CEO seems only to be about the illusion of an upside. Smoke and mirrors and empty promises. iPCS, his wireless initiative, is a joke and a non-starter.
UAMA CEO now oversees a company hollowed out by bankruptcy with few employees, no significant cash flow and decimated goodwill.
UAMA CEO regularly breaches contracts and agreements according to a Canadian Judge, who entered such comments into the record.
UAMA CEO has never built any enterprise of enduring value.
UAMA CEO serves without SEC Waiver.
UAMA CEO lost the largest independent telecom company in bankruptcy proceedings>
UAMA CEO convicted of over 40 counts of stock fraud and stock manipulation.
UAMA CEO convicted on over 40 counts of stock fraud & stock manipulation in the Province of Quebec. This is the very same jurisdiction where UAMA is courting favors to be one of a few potential "miners" that will be approved by Hydro Quebec and the Province of Quebec. Expect pushback and don't be surprised that the well earned reputation of Benoit Laliberte, UAMA as being personna non grata in Canadian business circles catches up with him.
Funny how the supporters can ignore the facts. UAMA CEO has never built any enterprise of enduring value, and predictably he will continue to sell "fluff" through smokeband mirrors. His latest foray into Quebec I expect will come to be known as Crytocrap. Caveat Emptor!
Fact check. Benoit Laliberte did not pay the nearly $1M fine for stock fraud and stock manipulation. Others have reported on this Board that he is an undischarged bankrupt and has been for approximately 10 years.
UAMA CEO was convicted, upon appeal, on over 40 counts of stock fraud and stock manipulation. He has never built any business of any lasting value. The latest bankruptcy proceedings were initiated by the Company in November 2016 and are still moving foward. Most of the talent base and cash flow went with the court approved sale last fall and that effectively hollowed out the business. Investel Capital Corp. the so-called parent company, is now in the hands of a court appointed Receiver who will distribute the IP and other assets to Creditors. UAMA's CEO serves without an SEC waiver. Caveat Emptor.
