Perhaps ISRG will try a M/A before considering litigation. They WILL NOT lie down that's for sure. It's gonna get gnarly!
Will be interesting to see how Intuitive and their shareholders handle the pressure in the coming weeks / months!

Exactly, they will do different things AND up to two-thirds of hospitals and surgery centers cannot afford DaVinci, otherwise they'd have one! The versatilty due to the mobility of the SPORT system will be a deal maker as well!
Good post!
I completely agree. Be professional, be courteous, but as early stakeholders in this company we all should be asking for regular progress reports!
Yep!
As am I!
I TOTALLY concur! It doesn't seem like a great buy to those who got in early. But it is. I've been buying chunks from $1.22 to $2.26. When we get to $10, people will be upset that they didnt buy in at $5. I was shocked to watch some of the panic on this board today. I realize many have put in more than they can afford to lose. You better have an iron will if you are one of those people. Until commercialization, this thing is a roller-coaster ride. After a day like today though, just remember, this thing can realistically double (or more) on some good news overnight.
So am I but another zero is not in the cards for another couple of years at least!
True, but the current dip is a huge buying opportunity. What am I missing?
Gotta start somewhere. When we hit $10 bucks a share later this year your 30k will be nothing to scoff at!
LTG, at what point will u buy in?
I'm confused at the strategies some of the "longs" are incorporating with this stock. Why would you sell now? You are gonna get ding'd with income tax on any gains made within 12 months of purchase.
Which is why I think Intuitive will make a purchase play.
Looks like it was probably written in late Feb since they are quoting a current pps of $1.35.
What dont people understand? The stockhokders / stakehokders ARE THE COMPANY. It's not pandering to keep stakeholders. in the loop. It's sound business!!!
I gotta agree with Honeycomb! Just look at the spike soon after the announcement of Dr Wolff being named to the Board of Directors. It doesn't take much.
Your skepticism on a penny stock is understandable. Most here understand Titan is still speculative (I hope). That being said, the potential for this device in the MIS marketplace is real. The upside is worth the risk for those who can afford to take it.
I like that she admits reading the Titan board almost daily. It does mean they are concerned about the opinions and reactions of the stockholders.
Bev better dig in and come up with some new info from Mgt. or you're right, she's gonna go nuts!
That post made me LOL!
Agreed! I am not adverse to any of those, including Intuitive.
Good work! We all need to push on them!!
I'm not conviced Intuitive will not just make Titan part of their monopoly. Think about it... Intuitive cannot penetrate the small-to-medium sized surgical centers with their current products / price points. SPORT would give them the ability to cater to everyone.
Time to lean on Titan for some info. It's really not good to have your stakeholders out there throwing around all kinds of unsubstantiated theories, strategies, rumors, etc...
I did too. lol
No hospital purchasing dept/agent in their right mind would pull the trigger on an Xi, just to have SP, with a cheaper, more mobile unit from Titan on the way.
Of course they know... and may be why there is "radio silence" from a PR perspective. I said earlier today though, regardless of whether news is good or bad, it never pays to sit on it too long. Im sure they are/have been strategizing on the Titan side. Welcome to the world of "speculation!"
Agree!
Thanks!
The US Airways / AA merger will eventually form one company. But I get your point. I think if a M/A is possible between the two, I would prefer ISRG's stock to continue its slide now! Again, this may be a calculated move for a buy attempt... possibly a hostile attempt. With ISRGs current downward trend, it may be a good play for them.
Thanks CUIN!
Anyone talk to Beverly today?
I think it's more calculated. They are going to use every thing they can to stop, slow down or buy out Titan. They'd be dumb not to. They want to keep their monopoly.
Yup!
I agree... Intuitive is definitely acting like they have their backs up against the wall.
It depends... maybe it's a calculation on Intuitive's part that a lawsuit would be too costly for Titan at this point in time.
Titan owns the patent on the articulating arms don't they?

Ive done the same (sell other stock below purchase to buy Titan). You cannot look at it as a loss at this point. It will only be a loss if Titan doesn't come through.
As has been discussed before, Titan's top priority upon commercialization should be the untapped market... Those facilities that have not been approached by Intuitive because of size or those that passed on daVinci because of capital expenditure. Secondary to that would be facilities that have a DaVinci robot and may want to buy an additional robot or two...or those that may have an older DaVinci or have discontinued doing biz with Intuitive for whatever reason.
