Don't sweat it. If everything comes to fruition, we'll all be happy campers in 2015.
Wish news would come. lol. Looks like nothing this week. Sigh.
That late filing is very intriguing, however.
Thanks for the link. This single sentence pretty much sums it up:
We did not actively market any products in 2014.
Promise to come back and check in April 1, 2016 and we'll take another look at OXIS financials?
Don't forget that if share price can continue to appreciate prior to Cataldo making his move, the smaller any reverse would be--if at all.
Either way, it's pretty cool to be part of something that may good things for individual investors, but better things for those suffering from the ravages of cancer.

I'm still hedging Pathways as the powder being kept dry. GLTYA.
Yeah but do you know WHY he is diluting? If he is raising cash for a particular purpose, then fine by me. The updated filing will come soon enough.
I totally missed this in the late filing. With such a small float, Fong may want to make sure his numbers are right before releasing?
This could be huge. Am I crazy to be loading up?
Just not enough buying pressure to move this. Hope some good news comes out soon.
Correct. But that was because genesis was $.02. The more price appreciation between now and any Up Lift announcement would reduce the size of a reverse split.
That's even if a reverse split was needed to get the share price to NASDAQ requirements. Who is to say an announcment or two comes out in the next 1 day- 4 months for example--about any type of FDA or Adaptive Pathway approvals for Phase I testing. Do you really think a reverse split would then be necessary? I certainly don't.
Hopefully some news soon. Based on the float alone I have been accumulating.
Thank you. Too bad for many it will fall on deaf ears. But that's their problem.
That's funny. Gov't didn't suspend anything related to FFFC. In fact, they approved reverse split.
Should never invest more than you can afford to lose. Clearly, you did and it shows.
Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to pass along. The nexus between OXIS/ MCET agreement/raising $2M to that end and no mention of Adaptive Pathways on the call makes me think Cataldo is keeping some powder dry. Just my $.02
ROFLMAO. Go back and look how LBIO went from $.02 to $10 a share. IF a reverse split is necessary--as was the case with LBIO to get above the threshold requirement, so be it. But I think news coming down the pike may very well obviate the need for it.
I won't bother to address this again. I can't believe I am wasting any time discussing this. Take 15 minutes to educate yourself about up lifting. A reverse split is ONE WAY to get above the threshold. Not the ONLY way.
The stupidity of some posters is simply astonishing.
Reading tea leaves, IF all goes according to plan--i.e, being able to report success with FDA and/or EU Adaptive Pathways, the higher price per share OXIS appreciates in the coming months, the smaller the reverse split may be.
But again, this type of reverse split is not a negative. Quite the contrary.
Yeah, I think people didn't think too much about the conflict of interest that would occur if someone worked for the FDA and served on the SAB. I am glad he clarified this point.
Agree.
My only issue was that there were no questions associated with Adaptive Pathways, which I have to believe will come in to play at some point in 2015.
I sent a follow up email so I'll letcha know if I hear anything back.
Also, anyone get the names of the institutional investors? Were they small, med or large? Thanks.
HAHA. Here come you jokers again. Glenn when it was .02, who was the joker when it was $.04 and now you guys are a day late...or right on time? Looks like we will be heading north! LOL.
Let's hope there is so much going on there wasn't enough time to get filing on time.
Good point.
So you've read the 85 page document in what, 10 minutes and decided it's going to open down 25% tomorrow? ROFLMAO.
Annual Report avail on Edgar. Have some reading tonight...
Saw that. No worries. I am hanging on for something more substantial (i hope)!
All signs point to good things. GLTYA.
Looks like a bunch of late afternoon buying. Might happen.
If he did try to uplift, let's hope he gets high a value as possible before a reverse split. A reverse split would most likeiy have to happen to get up to the $2-$3 range. Not sure of $$$ requirement but it is all relative, because then big boys would be buying this stock.
A reverse stock split to uplift would be the best of all scenarios. That could take awhile but wow, this could be something special.
There were lots of buys in Europe this morning
I hope we hear something soon. Part of me thinks FONG is absolutely clueless. Another part makes me think he's about to pull a rabbit out of his hat. I recall I read in a filing the netlife financial mortgage processing was a no-go--which I believe would have sent this stock through the roof.
That tells me that FONG has the ability to surprise.
Fingers crossed.
lol.
What does that mean?
I'm not in pre reverse split so I would not know.
Most folks have not taken the time to truly distill the potential.
Tomorrow should help clear the air.
Only 17 M shares outstanding.
The million dollar question!
I am holding for long term. I'd be tickled if investors were unhappy after the call--it would be a great buying opp.
Good grief this is painful. Would be nice if we had some tangible news at some point. Since tomorrow is a Friday, I know that's not gonna happen any time soon.
I am not sweating it. Quite the contrary.
The 8K was filed the same time as the agreement with MCET. 7 separate investors each ponied roughly $300,000.
I. Research Agreement Payment Terms:
Due Date Amount
3/10/2015 $225,000
6/1/2015 $225,000
9/1/2015 $225,000
12/1/2015 $225,000
3/1/2016 $225,000
Total $1,125,000
II. License Agreement Payment Terms:
Due Date Amount
3/10/2015 $250,000
4/10/2015 $125,000
5/10/2015 $125,000
Total $500,000
III. Subtotals:
Research Agreement $1,125,000
License Agrement $500,000
Phase 1 - Trial $500,000
Total Payments $2,125,000
8K Total: $2,050,000
Delta: $75,000.00
In my head, I am asking: "What would drive 7 investors to pony up $300k each, close enough to cover the entire cost of both Agreements and then some?"
Could it be possible that OXIS as an SME--through a not so subtle proxy--is working in parallel with an HTA (or two) for a 2nd line treatment for a rare cancer? And if so, does the possibility exist that it is one of the 6 approved for Phase II of the Adaptive Pathways?
Boy, that's too easy. Beautiful, but too easy.
Or could it be that after Phase I applications were shuttered Feb. 28, 2015, OXIS was one of the few asked to retool and resubmit their proposal for Phase II. And IF discussions bare (or bore) fruit, Conditional Marketing Authorization would come next; which, in turn, would give way to limited commercialization.
Of course, that's just the European side. Who knows what might be happening in the States.
And finally, Cataldo could get on the phone and say he gave OXIS everything he could and unfortunately, the technology, the medicine and the science just didn't work.
At $.04 a share, I am along for the ride regardless of the outcome. This is a hot mess that could turn into something special. Something that you and I both know can't be said for at least 95% of all OTC companies.
I am adding at any downtick. I don't believe we will ever see the $.03's again. Enjoy the ride.
Agreed. I believe only 17M at present. If there is tangible news, this thing will run.
Someone loaded up on OXIS and MCET this morning. Wow.
