I am just glad there is a holiday in Canada on Monday. The Chinese water torture gets a one day reprieve.
We also need a whole new influx of buyers. This board is composed of many who have been in the game for awhile and now will not support the stock. Most of us are up to our limits and are looking for exit signs in the next 12 months. Mark needs to impress a whole new crowd and I believe he will. The news has been positive so far and we should be moving away from drilling results and on to better things in the months ahead.
I will be happy when we are listed somewhere besides the TSX Venture Exchange. That chart looks like base jumping off Mount Everest. The natives are getting restless up north and the PPS is wobbly. Volume though is small for the moment.
7000k buy at the ask. You might need to rephrase that one.
I would take the other side of that bet for a whole wad of cash and hope I lose the bet.
could be manipulated or some people are just tired of holding the stock. some have nice returns and want to lock in gains and others of scared of a slowing global economy and it's implications for the company. not fun to watch this drop every day but that is part of investing. try trading TKMR and holding a position there. i am ready for a rest.
You would be better off shutting your computer down and never coming back. No offense but do you know stocks go up and down and you take the good days with the bad. Try thinking for yourself and not becoming a sheeple. Did anyone put a gun to your head and tell you to buy Nio. Make your own decision when to get out and stop relying on a message board.
Is "thinking" the right word in your first line. Some of the posters here need to tone it down.
The only chart you should be tracking is the Canadian one. This one is meaningless.
If that is the price, I think there would be an outrage. I do not think Mark would consider that for one instant.
I am not in the least concerned with NIO as I feel they are doing a wonderful job for such a small company. My problem lies in the slowing global economy and the EBOLA epidemic. That is heading for nightmarish scenarios.
Walter, I have placed you on a restricted list to Africa for future golf vacations. I will schedule Pebble Beach for a few of us when we hit it big. Mike can vouch for me.
PP will be a tough sell at higher levels with the uncertainty in the markets now. This could not have come at a worse time. They will need to have some great news to get the price up and get this thing done with. Without the warrants, you cannot do the placement and with the warrants comes the sell off. Catch 22 at it's finest.
I believe that is worth next to nothing.
Looks like the machine has been turned off.
I have a feeling that once mark was notified about the crap going on with Mackie and Scotia that a few choice calls were made. I would have a hard time letting them in on the PP if it does go off soon.
They will not be on my Christmas list. And if EBOLA becomes airborne, you had better have some masks lying around the house with duct tape. Food for thought.
Disregard the post. Ameritrade had 0's up for a few minutes and then resumed the quotes.
Get this ****** PP over with. The share price is nauseating.
Is the stock halted for trading? I show 0's up
Something tells me you already know.
If they do not need the money right now, I would cancel the PP to do at a later date when they have more news to verify what they are sitting on.
I saw Mackie there on the buy side.Nice to see.
Seawolf,
I am guessing that the seller wants two for the price of one. I would be doing the exact same thing if I was going to invest in the PP.
Walter,
You might not be thrilled with me selling yesterday as you are the longest term investor i have ever known but some things are unavoidable. When all this is said and done, we should compare notes as to how many investors each of us has brought in. You might win in the number of shares but I have convinced some people who have never owned a stock in their lives to invest. It will be an interesting conversation.
You make a very good point Ex and I have seen this happen in Niocorp before. I am though of the mindset that this company is news driven and the PPS can dramatically swing at any second. There has been large accumulation from firms in Canada over the past few months and the two downdraft periods were caused by a lone wolf. Other than a catastrophe hitting the overall market, I am of the belief that this company is on the right track and we will be rewarded in the next six months.
To posters here, my selling yesterday had nothing to do with how I feel about the company. It just had to be done for other reasons. You still have to pay the bills.
I just had a feeling the seller in Canada was going to unload again and I am oversubscribed anyway.
I recognize a lot of those trades today(lol).
The lowest trades were the result of a downdraft on the Canadian side that reached a low of I believe 60 cents . That was a flurry.
There are always reasons for selling Walter and I have more than enough if we go higher. I hope those trades were the worst of my life.
I am a trader in option stocks but Nio has been my spouse for years as you well know. Today I sold one her organs on the black market for cash to appease the real spouse.
Hi Walter. Nice to see you back on the board.
I also question the selling for two reasons.
1)How do we know what price the PP will go off at. It could be at this price level or higher.
2) I was a seller today and sold a fair amount at 60 cents. I am not in the PP.
Could be any number of reasons. Market overall looks like crap today but ANON has been a consistent seller the past few days.
Volume was relatively high today and it appeared to be a concerted selling. I would rather buy on the upswing that catch a falling knife.Niocorp has had a very good year price wise. I will wait till it breaks through it's year high now if it does at all.
Thanks. We are in the same boat and I am not trying to bash you.
Well please stop posting the price every day. You are good with info but a jinx with numbers. Traders are a superstitious lot and do not like anything to upset the apple cart.
Hope we are right.
Are you the one selling?Every time you post prices the stock heads lower.
Seller on the US market.
I guess we will have to wait and see.
Thank you. Not exactly thrilled about the warrants.
can you give me a source for the PP news.
Put him on ignore. He has no interest in Niocorp and is here to stir discord. He has a beef with a few of us with his investment of 100 shares in Lightwave Logic. That has been a loser from day 1 and he has trouble comprehending a dead stock.
You might be the shot in the dark Nio needs to go higher. Whatever you say, do the opposite. I expect a higher PPS in the near future with 100% certainty.
Booyah
That is a material event and Peter should not be telling you anything about it. Putting this info on a message board will not endear yourself to him either. I will get in touch with the company this week and let them know that you are posting this news to a message board. Thanks for the heads up.
Neither does jinxing the stock.
Not exactly thrilled about the currency rate between Canada and the US.
The market in the US only reflects a tracking market for the Canadian one. That is the only exchange you should follow until NIO can move away from that market.
