You don't have to get cute. Just explain where you got the "3" and what it signifies. I know what the $5.44 means.
I'm a musician, not a physicist, but I know some math. I just wanted to know where you got your numbers.
Would you be so kind to explain your mathematical equation to the rest of us?
Why don't you and everybody else just stop opening them and reading them. We all know what this poster will say. I quit looking at them a few weeks ago.
Hey Vet: Does this mean Ken Glynn resigned? or was forced out? Is his NJ retail store still open. I hope people don't get burned on this one.
Truer words were NEVER spoken. Buyers beware on this one. I was burned badly on this stock - I met the CEO and he is NOT to be trusted. I'm NOT a basher, I just don't want people to lose money here. If you're a flipper, fine, play the stock but DO NOT GO LONG (all based on my bad experience)
Good observations; and I've heard this from other commenters as well. I'm just trying to look for a good price to sell (probably at a loss) and get the hell out.
Speaking of Chinese companies, there is another one I've been "hanging on" with for 2 years: CMCI. They make milk (from cows) LOL. Every day there are usually a couple of hundred shares traded - has to be insiders. A friend told me that is called "painting the tape" so the SEC will see some minimal activity going on - that way they won't be delisted.
Again, I'm waiting for some kind of spike up there in order to get out.
I'm done with China!!!!
Two questions unrelated to FNMA:
1. Why is it that sometimes when I click on a post it never opens?
2. Why is it that when I click on the "back arrow" (I use windows) it doesn't go back?
Is this an Ihub issue or my computer issue?
Pardon the interruption for two useless questions.
Me again. Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not an expert at day trading.
It seems to me that after the earnings report, there are those (insiders? traders?) who expect this stock to go up higher in the coming weeks. As a result, they push the price up every day in order to tease people who are down $$$ to sell (like me) so they can buy those shares at a presumably low price (future wise).
Is this a plausible idea? Because if this is NOT the case, the stock would have gone back down to the low $1 after the report as it did in the past.
Whoa! What's going on today? Market movers? or something substantive?
General observation: I just listened to that "conference call". What was that all about? Someone just sat there and read out loud the financials that were already reported in their filings. Seemed like a waste of everybody's time.
YOu mean impressive re volume?
impressive re volatility?
impressive re price swings (same thing I guess)
Will you be listening to the call on Monday a.m.?
interesting pattern every afternoon this week. Between 3:00-4:00 a gradual takedown - let's hope that the Monday call brings better news to shoot this baby back up.
Ignore Apophis - i don't even bother reading his posts anymore
I'm not an expert at these things, but it seems that somebody(ies) is trying to keep the price stable. If insiders were selling (or dumping) for profits, wouldn't they have already sold their shares? There must be some "news" out there to keep people in this stock. At least that's what I'm hoping.
I don't know what Miamigent will say but I'm still waiting and watching, because I'm still down $$$. I'm smelling something here more than a pump/dump scenario and/or insider buying/selling. I believe they have a conference call either on the 17th or 24th and I just have a hunch there might be news at that time. I'm
hearing rumors on the chats that Apple will buy them but I just can't believe that - that would be totally UNREAL fantasyland.
All I know is that I've been waiting 14 months for this stock (and this company) to DO SOMETHING. It's finally happened
But I'm too much of a skeptic to expect much more - so I'm watching very closely for a good time to get out.
Again, thanks for your advice and suggestions.
I've put in a sell at 3.40. But I'm watching closely,if it spikes again, I'll cancel that sell (hopefully in time)
Another great Post. I concur with all your statements. Their secrecy is extremely frustrating (as a shareholder) but I've been told numberous times by numerous people that that is just the nature of most Chinese companies.
great post Birdman

Stack the ask and whack the bid?
Please translate in terms we can understand (I'm not a day trader)
In all honesty, I have shares in $1 $2 and $3 range and I'm not buying any more until I see more positive signs. JMO
Don't we need a strong, definive catalyst for that to happen?

You are DA man!!!
Meaning? Market movers are doing all this? But why? Because that's just what they do?

I'm holding on by the skin of my teeth. I did sell 4,00 shares at 1.50 thinking it would go back down during the day. But the many, many shares I still have I'm holding. Green is good.
I may do the same if it creeps up today. Might as well take the loss now, invest it in something else for 2-3 months and then get back in.
Thanks for all your advice and opinions during this saga.
You are talking above my paygrade with multiples and EPS. But you are correct in your observation that after a pop, the price did hold which is very unusual. And the buzz on the websites seems to be generally positive.
I didn't sell either - still watching, waiting and hoping for that $2.00 (or more).
Iknow where you're coming from Birdman but it's hard to sell the pop when you're down big $$$.

here's the link - hope it works; if not, let me know
Earnings are out - good news - price is rising in pre-market. I'm not good at reading financial reports - any opinions?
I don't know what to expect - as I've said so many times, this company (and most Chinese companies) are so damm reticent about releasing any information. Even the other chat sites say basically the same thing. But, like you, if it hits $2 I may sell all also. The questions is: if it doesn't hit $2, do we continue to hold?
FORTIS! Big earnings announcement coming tomorrow morning; before markets open - I will be watching. I don't know what to expect (does anybody?) but I'll be watching share activity closely up to 9:30 and have my trigger on the"sell" button or holding
including you?
I thought we decided on this board not to accept any more

Could the fund using ARCA happen to be SAC Capital?
who knows . . .
WOW - now we're getting great posts in the last 10 minutes or so. This is very useful information - not all that "to da moon" and "weeeeee" crap that we've seen ALL DAY.
Keep it up everybody
