His blonde trainer twisted him into a pretzel and stole his wallet!
I am both. My wife and I own a pharmaceutical (and device) clinical research consulting business. I primarily monitor clinical trials for pharma/biotech companies. Hence my caution when people get too excited about an "easy" route to commercialization. IMO the biggest hurdle or rate-limiting-factor is FDA approval. We are GOLDEN once this thing is approved. Previous to getting into clinical research I worked in pharmaceutical sales/marketing for Schering-Plough and Merck.
My aps is $1.88. Beginning to think I was the only one who had bought a good chunk over $2 ps. Great time to dollar-cost average folks.
Fantastic!
Good idea! If Titan didn't invite any media, even just Local (Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, etc) big mistake! I know WSJ picked up yesterday's press release.

Yes Jemid, fantastic post!!! Been trying to say much of the same since I joined the board but you nailed it!
Point and Jetoumi, great work fellas! Very detailed. Thank you. Did you notice whether or not there was any media covering the meeting? With all the info you two gathered, there is ample information for a nice write-up.
Good work! Thank you for taking the time.
Good to hear!
Honey, if I had the answers to market psychology I wouldn't be here having this dumb conversation.
J. Hargrove held mostly mid-level positions at JnJ culminating in a position of VP of Corpirate Accounts for a subsidiary. He is far from a seasoned Chief Executive. Also, from what I understand he was not an integral part of the initial start up of Titan. He was a Board Member and became interim CEO. So now, in your mind, he is this control freak who is conspiring to steal Titan away (from its founding members no less) and sell it to "his buddies" at JnJ on a low bid, which was the direct effect of his purposely keeping the stock price low throughout, by manipulation of strategic PRs during the development phase? Really??
He is a genius!
I love how J. Hargrove is now plotting to sell the company to "his buddies" at JnJ for a cut rate. lol.
Who else on the management team / Board of Directors is a former JnJ exec that is in on this conspiracy? For the sake of the iHub Message Board they need to be outed!
I gotta hand it to you Posilock... I thought you'd be hyperventilating today. I give you credit for stay'n strong and positive. People on this board claim they are long but they aren't acting like it.
$30 to $35 pre-US product launch?? Before anything is sold? Where are you coming up with these pie-in-the-sky numbers?
Good post! Agree wholeheartedly!
I question the lack of PR too, only if their is relevant available news they are keeping from the public. Do we know this to be the case? I do think they need to have an allegiance to their stakeholders or they risk losing support. Im sure there are strategic reasons they may withold some developmental news. Im okay with that. I also know they cannot "promote" an unapproved product, so all we can really look forward to are development, personnel and financial progress updates. We are getting those. It is what it is - the market does what it does. We sent Point to the meeting with a list of questions. Hopefully he is able to ask one or two of them. I highly doubt any answer given to any of our questions will be "earth-shattering." You are long on Titan but you are watching it like a day trader.
Chickenlips, with all due respect, maybe a long hold on a speculative med device stock isn't the right investment for you. You bring this skepticism to the board every day. Not sure what you are expecting from a small developmental stage company. The pps will rise as long as they stay on track.
Let the meeting commence...
lol, agreed!
Post of the day! lol
Good idea Chuckles!
Thanks for make'n me LOL this morning fellas!
lol, yeah, pretty much! But it's more HOW they say it than what they say!
I'm jazzed that Point is going tomorrow. He can get a good idea of the "dynamic" of the Titan execs together and the excitement (or lack thereof) they show for the SPORT just by watching body language and hearing them speak.
Thanks!
Has anyone confirmed whether or not the meeting will be recorded and available on the web site?
Geez, flat out ask them how confident they are that this thing will be approved and make a considerable impact in the marketplace. So far, is it everything they expected it to be?
Well personally I'd like to know why all the "radio silence" on basic PR? They have stakeholders who feel a bit slighted.
Try to gauge their level of confidence as they get closer to the FDA approval process. Do they anticipate any surprises or bumps in the road? Concerns about patent issues arising?
Maybe dig into the post-approval plan... When will they start to prep for product launch (i.e. begin structuring a marketing team/plan)?
Where do the upper-level execs see Titan five years from now?
Fantastic - Thanks Point!
The people on this board should decide on two or three good questions for you to ask.
On a side note... I am currently at a Motel 6 counting my money.
Sorry, I misunderstood your comment about the ability for a surgeon to tie a knot robotically.
Which leads me to wonder why Daktari3 is unimpressed!
YES, GO!
Hopefully Titan doesn't announce tomorrow they foresee two additional areas where SPORT can be used... The butcher shop and the deli!
Ok good. Will check it out this morning. Thanks!
The meeting is tomorrow. Hopefully there's more. Plus the new video will be available.
So far not a bad day considering the market is closed in Canada!
Does anyone know if management has bought or sold any shares as of late?
Agree. Beverly isn't there to tell them how to promote. She is there as a first line of defense for a bunch of impatient info hungry investors!
