Heck Scotty accomplished nothing at CYDY other than announce bogus "NDA" talks all the while 10x his salary from a doctor (around $300k) to $3.5M.
Everyone is talking about him because he is suing the company to pay for his legal bills. Where will the company come up with the cash for this if they lose the lawsuit? Will the longs be bragging about Cytodyn paying Sidley to represent him? Don't you think the prospect of new funds being raised in private placement being used to pay for NP's lawyers could deter the private investors that the company is seeking in this $15M round?
The one prediction I remember here is the longs saying Nader would never be prosecuted for his lies.
Tip for the bagholders. Ask any lawyer if the board of directors for Cytodyn executed their fiduciary duties when they did not fire Pourhassan for cause, but instead chose to let him go with his 18 month golden parachute.
So Cytodyn will waste whatever little cash it has left defending this lawsuit by Nader(!) and if it loses be forced to pay for his massive legal bills(!) and Cydyrus will have to, without laughing, maintain the fiction Nader was a lone individual that the company has washed its hands off, yet is oddly enough paying for his lawyers so he can defend himself (!). Only the utterly gullible can believe anything come out of Vancouver.
Cytodyn was a very profitable venture for Scott Kelly. Probably was earning $350K a year as a doctor and then 10x his compensation for doing much less work (ghost NDA's anyone?) at CYDY. Now the pesky part about being tied in with NP.....
I've seen it all now. And Fife also had a heart of gold too right? Did Samsung call to congratulate Welch for being so generous?
Agreed. Bankruptcy is a game changer.
I have beachfront property in Nebraska to sell anyone who believes no one knew about Nader's fraud. The Board of Directors and executives like Scott Kelly were more than happy to collect outsized compensation packages, rivals to Nike execs amongst Pacific NW companies, but they did not know about what Nader was doing? Where was the oversight? Where was the fiduciary duty to shareholders? Surely they all must have known since they voted his excessive compensation which a Delaware judge stuck down ("unmitigated greed") and they did not fire him for cause but instead gave him his golden parachute?
I dare any CYDY exec to say leron is "safe and effective". Watch the FDA hammer come down again.
Don't forget Cytofeline!

FDA doesn't care about the merits of a drug. It cares that proper protocols were run ensuring that the drug could be fit for public consumption one day. Pro140 is a drug invented in 1998 that has zero FDA approvals and was jettisoned by its creator Progenics for the princely sum of $3.5M onto the felon Nader Pourhassan acting on behalf of Cytodyn (or was it Rexray corp at the time?). Leronsaline indeed.
Is cydy-rus new tactic basically saying "unless you fund us in these private placements we won't attempt to lift the hold"?
Did the Samsung CEO call Cyrus to congratulate him on the inventory write off? Did he ask him when Cytodyn will pay off the money it owes Samsung?
Why don't they just pivot and market the drug as luxury saline? No need for FDA approval and at least some revenue would come in.
On p.42 of the 10Q, once again the company admits its being investigated by the government:
We are subject to, and may become a party to, a variety of litigation, other claims, suits, regulatory actions and government investigations and inquiries.
For example, the Company has received subpoenas from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and the United States Department of Justice (“DOJ”) requesting documents and information concerning, among other matters, leronlimab, the Company’s public statements regarding the use of leronlimab as a potential treatment for COVID-19, HIV, and triple-negative breast cancer, related communications with the FDA, investors, and others, litigation involving former employees, the Company’s retention of investor relations consultants, and trading in the Company’s securities. Certain former Company executives and directors have received subpoenas concerning similar issues and have been interviewed by the DOJ and SEC, including the Company’s former CEO, Nader Z. Pourhassan.
The general investor's inability to understand basic statistics is the main reason charlatans and grifters thrive in the OTC biotech space.
Perhaps old boy did convert his loot into bitcoin.
How'd he spend his $20M so fast? Guess Sidley lawyers were too pricey when he had to pay for them out of his own pocket!
Nads and Kaz probably wishing they converted their ill gotten gains into BTC and fled to mother Iran. Facing 20 years per charge must not be fun.
Cydy-rus has never said "we are not the target of the investigation". There is a reason why.
He could easily say "Now with Nader's indictment let us leave the SEC and DOJ investigations in the rear view as they are over". He can't say that.
No need to wait 9 months. Nodder will start ratting people out when he plea bargains.
That is why it is outrageous to claim that it was an "individually orchestrated effort". They expect us to believe in a tiny 20 some person company none of them knew the true status of the HIV BLA? What was the BOD - Scott Kelly, Jordan Naydenov, Nitya Ray, etc doing? What was Chris Recknor doing? Were they all willfully blind just sticking their head in the sand and just collecting paychecks? NONE of them though to question Nader? None of them thought to say he was blatantly lying in those Proactives?!
The pumpers' m.o. has always been to talk about some glorious distant future. The fact remains this company has never been successful at anything other than separating retail investors from their cash and putting it into company insiders' pockets.
Cyrus sounded like a mousy, weak-willed individual. "An individually orchestrated effort" lmao. Doesn't want to be named CEO, why? Wouldn't allow live questions yesterday, why? Sounds like a confident individual!
Hopefully Scott also ends up next to him so they can do a podcast and he can say "Back to you Nodder"
CYDY executives who knew about Pourhassan's "File it Short in whatever way we may be short":
1. Nader Pourhassan
2. Nitya Ray
3. Scott Kelly ? - most likely, but not proven yet.
Amarex executives
1. Kazem Kazempour
2. Khush Dhody
Cyrus claims Nader's actions were an 'individually orchestrated effort". That makes no sense. Nitya Ray for one had an obligation to tell the board of directors. Scott Kelly was chairman of the board and Nader by definition worked underneath him. These clowns would have you believe cytodyn executives have clean hands while they enabled Nader's behavior for years and continued employing him after May 2020's HIV BLA fiasco. Plus, Pourhassan was not fired for cause and given his golden parachute.
Maybe he'll take his famous picture of The Last Supper with him to hang in his cell to give him comfort?
Cydy-rus on today's webast calling it an "individually orchestrated effort". Huh? Didn't Naddy email Kush Daddy and Nity Ray on his "file it short" email? Wouldn't those 2 have told the BOD and other company executives? Nity Ray was a key executive himself and had a duty to tell the BOD right after he received that email from Pourhassan.
Cydy-rus says he anticipated the SEC and DOJ acting as they did. If so, why was Pourhassan employed for so long after May 2020 and why was he not fired for cause? Why did Scott Kelly suddenly resign?
Really telling they did not allow live q&a.
Kelly must be praying Nader doesn't try to implicate him in the "sell it short in whatever way it is short" scheme!
Scott Kelly sold 1.2M shares on May 1, 2020 at a price of $3.26 share. Nader Pourhassan also sold shares during this time period, for which he was indicted for insider trading. Will Kelly also be indicted for insider trading?
From Portland Business Journal: “Valuation at this point is what you can appraise the value of a molecule with nothing more than a fraudulent clinical history. It does not seem like it is worth much since the investment needed to bring to market is starting from scratch.” - Paul Rosenbaum
LMAO Sacha and his poor monkeys! Pre-clinical monkey research 5-10 years away from even Phase 1 FDA trials. Sacha was compensated with CYDY shares in the past, was he not?
What happened to those poor 28 souls in the Philippines that received it? Hyped by the paid pumpers but never heard from again.
"since Leronlimab has no severe side effects"
False. If you've followed the clinical trial results you would know that it does have SAE (Severe Adverse Events) documented in certain trials.
Remember this case where Scott Kelly tried to intimidate?
Alpha Venture Capital Partners LP v. Pourhassan, Del. Ch., No. 2020-0307, letter to judge filed 7/21/20
Attorneys leading a $125 million excessive pay lawsuit against the board of drugmaker CytoDyn Inc. accused its chairman, Scott A. Kelly, of using litigation threats to try to intimidate the plaintiffs into dropping their claims in Delaware Chancery Court.
“Kelly claimed that this lawsuit is an impediment to the company’s attempt to up-list to NASDAQ,” and that if it’s not “dropped,” and the up-listing bid fails, CytoDyn “will publicly ‘blame’ plaintiffs” and sue them, Mark Richardson of Labaton Sucharow LLP wrote in a letter to the judge docketed Tuesday.
Only the naive and most gullible would think it was pure coincidence Kelly leaves the company 2 days before Pourhassan's indictment.
This company 8-K's they will do a webcast. They PR an airplane to the Phillipines. They 8-K and PR the most inane things. Their then CEO committed insider trading, allegedly. They are still under SEC and DOJ investigation. They need to come clean to their investors what they are being investigated for.
No doubt about Kelly. SEC and DOJ have him dead to rights on insider trading. His only prayer is he turned state's witness and cut a deal.
If I recall you repeatedly said that Pourhassan and Kazempour were in cahoots, or was that someone else?
SEC should halt trading to prevent them from selling shares to a new round of suckers.
