Not for long imho
Mail comes to me overnight here in Bellingham. If it was sent yesterday, I should get it today. I'll be checking my mailbox daily.
Yes, he does work for the company now. He said he wouldn't be posting much now, if at all, in an earlier post a couple weeks ago.
My order from yesterday was filled. That's part of it.
We're doomed! LOL :)
I just don't get it. It seems like NOBODY believes in what we are doing, yet will throw money at lesser stuff with less going on. You would think an article in the NY Times would give us SOME clout. Oh well, hopefully our day will come... MG told me in a reply e-mail over the weekend that they are working on getting some press and analysts to the SH meeting, so hopefully they will come and give us some attention.
I got a laugh out of reading the exchange, but yes, on to bigger and better things! Such as, I believe from reading all the blogs and press releases, that we really DO have a reason to be excited about the upcoming shareholder meeting. Some here think it might be about nothing or not much at all, and of course, they could be right, but I really think they called this meeting because there is something exciting to vote on. At the very least, I believe the new website will be launched and the word BETA will finally come off!! This in itself will be a great stride forward. Maybe some top tier content will even be on there. If there is, then it's only a matter of time before the subscriber base ramps up. At 7 cents, investors will be more likely to take a chance and invest with seeing top tier content. I really believe that someday people will be kicking themselves when they realize we were 'featured' on C-1 of the New York Times when still a pink sheet stock and trading at 7 cents, and they didn't pick up more or some first time shares. I don't have the stats, but it can't be often that a pink at 7 cents is featured in their paper.

Universal IP Platform[b/]
The world of mobile wireless and wireline telecommunications, as we have previously understood it, is shifting toward a converged network that few companies will engage and fewer will be successful in deploying. ICT Universal IP will not only duplicate all functionality previously required within present disparate networks (i.e. mobile wireless communications, wireline dial tone and long distance, Internet protocol, television/cable broadcast) but as a result of blended functionality will set the stage for this new ICT R&D application never before conceived.
More information on this new and exciting ICT Product Development product to be released as development progresses.
I'll try to give you a range that I see. I think we all can see this, but I'll put it in print here. I think (in the long term) our stock can go anywhere from zero on the downside, to at least $30 dollars on the upside. In the short term (next few months), when the new site goes live, we are no longer in Beta, and if we have premium content, I don't think it's too far fetched at all to see a dollar just from the future potential alone and the excitement that can generate.
If we become the dominant player around the world and are looked on favorably by Hollywood and are blessed with all the premium content we want, then looking at the amount of revenue this space and a model like this can generate, this is where I come up with the $30 or more. The U.S. is not the only market that can generate huge amounts of revenue as most of us know. As I mentioned in a previous post last week, I believe there are Millions of people around the world who would watch a hollywood movie and who have broadband or are about to get broadband, but who do not live anywhere near a video store so they can rent something. This is currently Millions of dollars of unrealized potential revenue that can be immediately unlocked with our model.
ICTN upticking...
That's my hunch. I already have so much of it though, I don't know where to put it.
Feel free to paint .09 if you want MWM
You da Man!
Release the Cheetah's!
I showed my wife the reeltime player last night really for the first time, (the first time she really paid attention to what I was showing her) and after watching around 30 minutes of a couple different shows that she was extremely interested in, and me telling her that we can hook it up to the t.v. and that I have everything to do that, she got excited and started asking all kinds of questions. She started talking like me and I watched as her mind started racing as she was telling me this was incredible and asking how many shares we own. It was fun to see someone else get excited and experience what we have. The two shows she watched, 'shroud of turin' and a documentary on Catholicism played flawlessly and in dvd quality.
We got somethin' folks, the space is big enough, and in my humble opinion, it's only a matter of time!
Just some thoughts. There are millions of people around the globe who have a broadband connection, who would watch hollywood movies as much or more than people in the U.S., but are far enough away from a video store to not make it practical to drive and rent a movie. This is LOST revenue by Hollywood. I would think that with the pirating and copying issue on a general scale solved with grid and reeltime, that the studios would eventually see this and give reeltime the ability to rent their movies to people/places outside the U.S. since it just makes plain dollars and sense. I think the studios are losing hundreds of millions in revenue by not reaching these people. We have the solution! Other companies around the world may also or soon will possibly, but that brings us back to the fact that this is such a big space that there is room for many companies to do well simultaneously.
I definitely saw the pics and appreciated so much you taking them and sharing. My specialty is Pad Thai, Green and red curry, but I can whip up some Panang for you. (Don't tell the others) Although, I might give you 5 stars and tell you it's 3. You should be used to the brazilian hot peppers by now anyway! :) I used to order 15 stars, but they thought I was crazy and would make it zero, so I'm back to 7 now.
Does this mean you are leaving Brazil? Hopefully you are bringing that wonderful gf with you.
I like the sound of it!
Good to hear from you Todd! Yes, I learned a lot from the Seattle Thai Restaurants before opening my Thai restaurant up in Bellingham. Anyway, I hope Zeptepi isn't an expert on Shareholder meeting culinary fare. :)
Shareholder meeting is finally just 30 days away. I for one am looking forward to it, no matter if it's positively earthshattering or just informative. I always love to hang out in Seattle, and didn't someone also mention that we can probably expect some good chow?
Fresh high of the day is nice to see. :)
Did Rhustang make the BOD? :)
Yes. And I doubt she would take on an expanding role if we weren't heading somewhere positive as a company. She has the ability to go to a lot of places right now with her career background, but she is choosing to expand her role even further with reeltime. Very positive news. Not likely pps moving, but very positive!
I'm sure the new website will be up and running, but I see no reason to 'expect' that we will have major studio content at that time. I won't be disappointed if we don't. As long as we are moving forward and the website looks great and we see a great plan laid out with some exciting things happening, then I for one can wait for the major studio content. Sure, I'd love to see it, but by no means will be 'expecting' it. I hope your post is in jest gauchoalum, because it sounds like more of a threat than a constructive post.
I would normally agree with you. I feel though that there is a reel possibility that there will be people in the investment community that are saying 'weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' when they buy rltr at $1.00. So, if that comes true, and someone says 'weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' on this board when it hits .25 cents, then someone who buys at .25 cents would be happy they bought at at time when someone was saying 'weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'.
Nothing has fundamentally changed imo since the price was higher other than we now have confirmation that a much better website is on it's way according to the entry by Ro (Red) on the ReelTime Blog. Holding for you is the right thing to do right now in my opinion. For others if they asked me I would say to buy more. I wouldn't tell anyone to sell anything right now.
Well there's a nice healthy purchase of 100k shares. :)
It appears that is what they are saying. Jimi is big, and an exclusive on Reeltime could bring literally hundereds of thousands or even millions of eyes around the globe to check us out. I think this might be bigger than many realize. The coffee thing I pointed out is just another thing to show that in many ways there is a re-surgence going on with the Hendrix name.
I live just north of Seattle and it's interesting to see in many of the grocery stores now huge displays featuring a new coffee by Leon Hendrix. The display has big pictures of Leon/Jimi and has guitars encased in glass all around the coffee. It's quite impressive and impossible not to notice. All the different roasts are named after Jimi's songs. This is interesting because of the blog entry on 7/25/07 talking about what Reeltime is about to have, with this link being the teaser for us so far. Something's brewin', pardon the pun...
It kinda hurts seeing people divided over whether or not someone saw the new website or didn't. In the long run, it doesn't matter at all. Either other people saw it, or other people didn't. Let's keep this board to discussing the merits of the business, not judging other people. Of course, if no one saw it and they say they did, that's terrible, but that's definitely their inner problem if that's what took place. No need to hash it over here. Just my thoughts late tonight. Sorry to anyone if I come across wrong. Also, absolutely no offense to you gauchoalum for your post.
Shakeouts, if that's what this is, are always a little discouraging. But I'll say it again - A lot of people have to sell before a rise, because there has to be a certain percentage that end up saying, "Gee, why is it that my stocks always go up right after I sell them". It's not easy to make the kind of money that we can all potentially make with this company if they execute properly and a little luck is with us. Why is it not easy? Because you have to hang on when it's seemingly not the smart thing to do.
Everyone make it a great weekend, and just remember that in my opinion for the kind of money we can make, we have a higher than normal percentage chance of making that money if we just hold on. This company is for reel. Doesn't mean they'll make it, but if there has ever been a company that's worth giving them a little longer to execute, I think it would be Reeltime. Whenever someone sells, there is someone buying. Those buyers in my opinion are accumulating. I think there is a lot of accumulating going on. It just doesn't look like it since the price isn't going up. For instance, I added 100K shares over the last couple weeks. Did the price go up? No! But, those shares I bought are now in stronger hands. Like Desert Man, call me crazy, but I'm either going down with the ship or up TO THE MOON!
Me too. Me Three!
Well Sweet! Nice entry. Sounds like things are happening! I for one can't wait to the see the full Leon Hendrix video talked about in a previous blog post.
I forget. Is Mr. Red, Ro?
And a teaser it is! I want to see the whole thing NOW!! :)
Hmmmm... Let's see. The last price is at 3 cents, but the bid just went 'up' to 5.5 cents. Shake, shake, shake... Shake, shake, shake, shake your reeltime. (Sung to the song that we all know.) It's exciting to see the shake knowing that it needs to happen before a rise. Hang on everyone!
Appears we are in shakeout mode. Stay strong.
http://www.fairmont.com/seattle This is one of the nicer and is centrally located and close to the Reeltime offices.
Motel 6. I'll leave the light on.
