Thanks you too!
2007 - The year of Calypte!
I'm being somewhat cynical of course.
I think something happened to C starz (jail, death, etc.) He hasn't posted since August. He always returned my direct emails immediately and has not done so for the past 5 months. Anyone know him personally? Hope he's alright.
Some people might not like the "ride" the Ford provides and choose not to be transported. If the goverment can be convinced that the Lexus will allow for more people to be transported, they might be willing to spend the extra money.
PS - Calypte needs to step up and announce who is paying their salaries. This is ridiculous.
I can compare a Lexus to a Ford (both of which are cars), but that doesn't make it an accurate comparison.
"Rapid Tests 3 times as expensive as their rivals"
You are comparing apples to oranges. Blood test aside, the oral test is actually the same or less expensive when compared to the few other oral tests it faces in direct competition. Please prove otherwise. Our company is hiring, find a new job buddy...stop obsessing over Tony C.
I won't be able to, I think we would all appreciate it if you would. Mention the Aware Oral and some benefits to it. Thanks.
Well I don't think Calypte Management is reading this board. I hope you are calling/emailing the company directly. I have. I'm glad to hear you're keeping them on their toes. Hopefully some day they will get their act together.
I bought at .072 and actually did not purchase a full 100,000 shares. Ended up finding something else I liked too.
Yeah those articles are almost as repitious as your SFDA day counting and waiver list counting. I think we all know how to count here, but thanks. I never understood why individuals get so emotional attached to their stocks, if you don't like your perceived direction of this company...sell and move on.
I usually don't post my transactions, but why not?..Just put in an order for 100,000 shares. Took the time, to in detail, listen and re-listen to the previous Conference Call. Opportunities are finally abound and if they can manage only 1.2 million a qtr (very feasible), they should be able to hit break even. Hopefully the Calypte team can finally get their act together and put together some sales. I wish I had better info on their marketing strategies. The downside is only $7500, the potential (given possible developments) is a tenfold.
Hayward is about 6 hours NW of where I reside. My Great Grandma lived there....all I remember is a giant Muskie you could walk through and log rolling contests.
I don't think any sale for Calypte is meaningless. On the plus side, Russia is slowly becoming an emerging market and and currently Calypte has no competetion in regards to an oral OTC HIV test. If Calypte was good at selling their product, all it would take is one large Russian Retailer to sell it at their stores and boom. The chances of this happening? not sure... I am not familiar with Russia's stance in regards to the OTC test. Would have to do some dd.
Of course I agree with that. I was under the impression you were upset with the statement and how it was worded. I was only trying to say there is nothing wrong with how it was said. As for Blood, how old are you? Just trying to determine exactly how pathetic you are. Even Cato would agree with me on that. I know you post facts, thats not the issue...the issue is your obsession with a company you have no vested interest in. Why waste a life? Go see the world. If your in WISCO, meet me out and we'll get a drink, sounds like you need to get out more often.
What's wrong with that statement? Testing does prevent against the spread of HIV. If you know your status, you're going to be less likely to spread your infection. What do you disagree with?
How much do you get paid to repeat the same things over and over? I'm looking for work. Please private messge me and let me know. Thanks.
Hope you are only playing with money you can afford to lose. Its sad when you know people are pooring every last cent into a certain (somewhat skeptical) stock. I found it strange that the CEO of XECHEM was named CEO of the year by MarketWatch readers. I think anyone can logically conclude it was due to an abudant influx of clicks from some large mass of people. Seriously!? Did you see the other names/companies on that list? For those that haven't been to Nigeria, it is one of the shadiest/corrupt countries in the world...if not the most(might be behind Bangladesh). The corruption is from top to bottom. Operations there are extremely sketchy. I really hope this is a legit company. Anyone wanna grab a flight to see this so called new facility?
This all based on my few minutes of DD and no one should base their decisions from this posting.
In all serious Bloodhound, why don't you call yourself? You seem to be the one who is so concerned. Please call and let us know what you hear. So will you call? Its time to kick your obsession with this company and move on. How can one be so sad?
You know it wouldn't be released that quickly (middle of the week). They have 30 business days to make their decision. If we don't hear news for awhile, I wouldn't be too concerned.
After the Expert review, the CDE will determine to accept or reject the application, to request additional info, or to reschedule us for later review because they feel it is not appropriate at this time. They have up to 30 working days (about 6 weeks) to review their findings and make a decision. Depending on that decision, they have up to an additional 30 working days to notify us of their decision.
I'd play with only the amount you can afford to lose. Very high reward, but very high risk. I really think the funding is there (I'm not worried about that). I'm just worried as to whether they can ramp up their revenue to somewhere in the 2-3 million range each quarter.

Maybe they're waiting until tomorrow (WORLD AIDS DAY!)
Gale definately did not promise they would receive the funding by today. He only stated that the investors have committed to fullfil their agreement by the end of the month. Gale said it would be improper of him to say that they will actually deliver. Tomorrow would be a great time to release something -In light of the World Aids Day.
Thanks for the REC, but I won't go near that stock. It traded a whole $75 today. No thanks.
Thanks for the link to the Rodman Conference. I was surprised to see that they are not expecting to be profitable until at least 2008. I do believe they are being very conservative with their estimate. I can see them break even and perhaps even post a profit sometime in mid 07'. In retrospect..this is one stock I should have stuck to my strategy of buy low, buy lower. I did not average down as I usually do with my turnaround picks - bought pre split average @1.24.

Ouch, too bad! Should have done more DD. At least I can say Calypte is a much better company that this.
Link to the ARTICLE?????? Thanks.
Sorry, I am not familar at all with the stock. Just saw the enormous interest in it. Why is this falling so much today? Has anyone contacted to Co. to find out why financials were not released? Or were they, and are really bad?
Well, at least it looks like they intend to hold an annual shareholder meeting. I don't understand why all this planning is going on if they have no money. Tomorrow should tell the tale, I really don't want to hear anymore BS about looking for funds...if they don't have it now, they are done.
Curious as to why someone, so concerned with the company, has never seemed to call in during these conference calls. You surely have the time. Looking foward to you asking these questions if they are not provided during the call. Will you be calling in? Thanks.
I don't really see that as a reasonable suggestion. On the bright side, according to Gale Calypte only needs about 2.5 million to fund until break even (of course you can't buy into that)...but they should be able to scrap up that kinda of money from somewhere.
Its the stock market, who ever knows. Could be the fact that some people are taking into account that Calypte seems pretty confident they will be able to keep operations running. The confidence coming by the large amount of forward looking statements to next year and beyond. Perhaps also, Calypte now only needs funding for about 6 months (3 million).
I was never told they would be on the agenda for the November meeting. I assumed it. I was only told they were too late for September and that the October meeting was cancelled. I assumed wrong.
I wasn't pulling anyone's leg. It was directly from the company. What I know:
The September Meeting was held Sept. 1st. (too soon to get Calypte on the table)
The October Meeting was cancelled/postponed (due to a Chinese Holidy that occured in the first week of the Month)
I am assuming the November meeting also happens the first week or so of the month (based on previous meetings)
As I already noted, the October panel discussion was cancelled due to some strange Chinese Holiday. On the bright side, I believe the meetings are held early in the month...meaning that the November discussion should happen shortly. At his point China doesn't matter, Calypte needs money.
I am disappointed in myself for posting that message I received from Calypte. I should have kept it confidential. I will no longer be able to communicate to employees of Calypte. Someone must have emailed him to confirm my message (it was not well liked). I was really only hoping to help clear up some needed questions.
The message was from the CFO of Calypte. As far as the company's awareness, I have no idea. I would assume someone dropped the ball on the translation process. According to Calypte, it was the SFDAs goal to put them on either the September or October panel. If there wasn't to be an October discussion, why would have that been communicated to Calypte? Why couldn't the meeting be postponed till the next week? I would like coinstarz opinion, haven't heard from him in awhile.
"The SFDA was not successful to get us on the September panel due
to the timing (it was the first of the month.) They cancelled the October panel due to the conflict with the Fall Harvest Festival (most of China was closed down the first week in Oct.)."
Looks like we will have to wait until the November panel. They definately don't seem in any rush to approve the test.
In response to your question Cato, I received this answer from Ted Gwin:
"We have not yet been given a date but are following with the SFDA daily."
Looks like its on a day to day basis. Kinda strange that they wouldn't be given a specific date as to when these meetings occur.
Again, what's your deal? The question is..."what are you going to do with the rest of your life?" Obsession is a b*itch isn't it? Seriously, please try to move on with your life. If you got burned by this stock, suck it up and leave. Find a wife, boyfriend, have kids, play sports....please do something other than obssess over a stock you don't own. Pathetic doesn't come close to explaining you. Please do not respond to this message and move on. You have to be the saddest human I have ever met. I have a referral (psych.) if you are interested, email me in private.
Russia, UAE, OTCBB, China, etc....That's all fine and dandy, but at this point the only thing that matters is financing. Calypte needs CASH and in a hurry. I can see MARR stepping to the table one last time, lets hope so.
Can you please explain your post in more detail?
Are you trying to say?:
Watch this site (link) in the next few days, specifically Friday, for updates regarding Calypte's new symbol. It tends to add updates in the early afternoon.
Having Calypte stock listed on this site will change the momentum in a (negatively or postively way?)
Todays AH action is resembling Thursday's.
P.S.
Where you from Flashlite dude? Just curious...Thanks.
