I have no faith in technical analysis on this stock. Time and again, it defies what the charts indicate might happen.
It's all about the fundamentals as to direction of prices.
I wonder if this release was "timed" to take place the day after the first time this year the SP closed under 50 cents. How long has CYDY been sitting with this news?
I believe that in the short term this matters, not so much in the long term.
I think it was Pearsby, finally putting his money where his mouth isn't!
Bucky, some people have never let facts get in the way of their rants. His posts are not directed to people who know the facts, rather those who don't, those who are considering investing or having doubts as to the long term prospects of this company and its main product.
Rather than help millions of people with HIV, the bashers are more concerned with making a few bucks by killing off a company, by issuing PSA's that sounds like it makes sense, but is riddled with falsehoods, all the while proclaiming that they have a long position, and hoping they are wrong about what they are saying.
So predictable! <sigh>
Thank you BlackDoggie, of course you're right!

Thank you Pearsby for all your PSA's. We all should have listened to your words of wisdom.
Thanks Grip!
Gestalt2, thanks for looking into this...very interesting.
The next question that seems to logically follow would be, I guess on average, which direction did the price of the stocks go after the "confidential" filing?
10 minutes into the trading day and we are unchanged after 6,000 shares were traded. Time to call it a day.
<sigh>
Have a nice weekend Pearsby and Kobe!
Kobe,
You and Pearsby apparently are huddled at a desk together thumbing thru a thesaurus, trying to find new words to panic people. What a pathetic life! Sad.
Dr. Goldfinger,
Thank you for your sensible comments. If there was one thing you said that concerned me, it has to do with a reverse split.
The shorting of a penny stock can be limiting, but the shorting of a stock that has had a RS could be staggering! As a target, after having an RS, we might very well end up exactly where we started from before the split. I have seen it happen before, and it was devastating!
Anthony speaking now.
Pearsby, for once could you please just shut the F up!
It's possible, Michel, that this news has already been "discounted" by the market and we will see green.
It appears to be CYDY's wording. Why when they have been promoting PRO 140 as more of a mainstream product, did they ever get involved with applying for "orphan drug" status in the first place, using company resources and much needed cash? Who's piloting this vessel?
I think I hear Pearsby stomping down the hall jumping at the opportunity to provide us with more of his home grown wisdom as to why we should not buy any shares or why we should sell our shares, all the while maintaining his position being long and wishing us a "GLTA."
Please, keep the "little birdies" where they belong (on the golf course, that is).
If you have an "eagle" comment, I can respect that.
Sorry, this post has reached an all time low, and will get better,
just like I hope CYDY had reached a low, and will also get better!
I'm afraid that no amount of technical analysis may provide you with the answer you are looking for.
Can't we all just get along?

Another "Public Service Announcement" from the investor who claims to be long, but continues to trash the stock in order to provide balanced reporting to those "uneducated" individuals who have not done the extensive DD that he claims to have done in the last few months.
Those of you, perhaps just one, who take him seriously, might ask yourself the question, why would a person who constantly trashes the stock of a company claim to be long the stock. Does that make any sense? Would I be working for NASA if I saw no future in the space program? (Disclosure: I never worked for NASA).
That person would be Pearsby and his various incognitos who show up when he's too embarrassed to post under his own "name."
As the market was about to close, I observed on my E Trade a bid/ask for both 1,000 shares at a spread of 64/69.
Any Level 2 subscribers, having the bigger picture, make any sense of what is going on?
Pearsby, the "short in long's clothing," wrote:
So many times the last "tick" of the day is a trade for fewer than a thousand shares. Usually, its at the bid (frustrating), bringing down the closing price. It was nice to see it go the other way today.
Of course, for L/T investors (such as myself), it probably means nothing, but an uptick is an uptick!
That's what I like about you, d0lphint0m, your objectivity. Thanks for a great response!
d0lphint0m,
Back in the day when I used to trade futures contracts I was a great proponent of a disciplined approach based upon technical charts. While fundamentals were the driving force forming the various charts, for the most part I based my trading upon what the charts were telling me.
That's why I am a big fan of yours, sharing the charts and your interpretations of them here.
Now here's the "But."
Since I joined this Board last year, I have yet to see anytime where basing one's trades on moving averages or Bollinger bands or anything else for that matter has had led to any profitable trading, even for just an entry point, and possibly an exit point.
While I always look forward to your commentaries, and all my trading here has consistent of only two purchases (one small, the second one large), what I continue to look forward to is the day when you say the charts are pointing to a positive trend and the followup to that is that the trend actually happens!
So, if we close above .63, is the "train" going to move out of the station this time, or is it going to be another Penn Station derailment?
I don't know either.
Thanks for the info on Sykes. Seems like, in some circles he is well known.

I'll go along with that reasoning, JPG, thank you!
Interesting, jboatswain, do you have anything to support that statement?
Did the Sheikh say anything himself?
It disturbs me that it appears that Dr. P is hosting the show, not Anthony. Markets close at 4pm, when the conference starts. If its bad news, do they really think we'll forget by the next morning.
Wait and see, that's what investing in this company has always been.
This doesn't change anything Misiu. I respect the scientific knowledge that you have shared with all of us.
Misiu, you were very involved in the discussions back in October, November talking at great length about how things were going to be happening "by" the first quarter of 2017. A number of people questioned you as to the beginning, end, or somewhere during the quarter. You were very insistent as to an "event" happening early in the quarter. Some of the discussion was really over semantics.
I find no fault with your good intentions. I am simply saying that you based your forecasts apparently on things you had read.
Everest is quite correct, pertaining to taking losses. As far as raising money to pay income taxes due next week, I think that's very subjective. One can sell their losers or take gains, or sell anything they own, or just pay taxes out of their savings account.
It appears that the shareholders have been misled big time by the company. They love the money shareholders bring to support the operations of a company, but they don't like to have to answer to them for their actions. Same old story.
I think the silence has gone on too long. Paranoia sets in and the price collapses.
Misiu, you are a very intelligent and sincere person, but I believe you have been misled.
One should never invest money they can't afford to lose, and for that reason I am staying long as opposed to bailing out.
Pearsby, why are you staying long?
Absolutely, Ironman. I was just wondering if it might have been "in the family!"
Show of hands, please.
Who bought 50,000 shares this morning at 60 cents?
Was it you Pearsby? (to prove you really are long)
Was it you Shane? (still averaging down)
btw, the "real" Ben Fritz is a controversial writer for the Wall Street Journal, who has recently come under attack for some of his statements and there are petitions calling for his resignation.
I'd say that our BenFritz made an interesting choice in choosing to select that name.
Its all out there, just google him.
You're right Ben, a serious reply should be given to a serious post such as yours.
