So where are the Visas? Where are the Manilla boys?
Must be time for another junket. Wonder where to this time.
I'd say his head is up his ass.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the assessment that this announced proposed increase in shares suggests that no deal is immediately in the offing. Otherwise, not likely needed. There is no question that this is disappointing. However, it does not mean that there is to be no deal and no drilling. Just that the timing is not what we all would wish for. Until that does occur, the light bills still need to be paid and this move helps insure that the lights will stay on. It also means that the company is very serious about persisting in all its efforts- and this helps enable this. Of course, it does not mean that 5 billion shares will be soon or hopefully, ever deployed. But it does give the company the flexibility to do what it needs to do. We are accustom to waiting at the LBSR table, and I guess we must wait yet longer. In the end- there is still reason to believe a hearty meal will be served. - Obviously there are many others who agree. Some- including, in small part, me are buying up many tens of millions of shares, knowing that in many ways, we are in a much stronger position than in 2010.
Is everyone buying more in anticipation of the big event?
I feel sorry for everyone who ever invested a single cent in this folly except for SGR who made a killing at 200k.
Oh yes, something is coming alright. JB is at work. Something is coming for sure. After all, he is a Wonderful human being!
.002.
Nice. Thank you JB for all you do.
Another 5% down.
Must be a lot going on behind closed doors that is why JB is so silent. Doesn't want to upset the apple cart.
Yeah, why bother with 3 large companies. The way JB is handling things is working out a whole lot better for investors.
Oh brother.
Now we have true longs telling us of the fortune they made last time this was 0.0016. Same guys that kept pumping as they were dumping.

http://www.mining.com/outside-money-start-to-pour-into-mining-ma/
Putting aside a lot of variables, and assuming a deposit of "average" attractiveness compared to those purchased last year, 50 percent of 2.2 percert of 100 billion (assuming LBSR owns all mineral rights in the deposit) is 1.1 billion dollars. Assuming metals values continue climbing and Hay Mountain is sold for '06/'07 values, one may be looking at 5.5 to 6.0 billion dollars.
Having said that, I don't know if JB is applying anything from the Principle if Diminishing Returns in his 100 billion dollar overall estimate of value for the possible deposit in the Hay Mountain area, and I don't know to what extent size and grade effect the numbers used in the story linked above. Like I said, "a lot of variables."

Dear risingstar,
The following response was provided by management;
“A site visit alone would not be a material event. Additionally we have other groups both domestic and overseas that maintain an ongoing interest in the project: we are working to turn that interest into actual financing while enduring an extremely tough economic environment.
We have had one interested party from the Manila trip visit the Hay Mountain Project property and environs. This gentleman is a mining engineer with much experience in mining and mine valuation. As such he is working in behalf of the other professionals resident to the Philippines. We do not have any more firm commitments as previously stated by the participants in Manila, but they (professional degreed geologists with many years of mining experience) have evaluated Hay Mountain as an extremely interesting project and are working on gathering other interested parties. Again, we expect visits from interested parties, from other areas, who have signed our stringent and long term confidentiality/non-compete agreement to continue. Remember, both sides must do the due diligence prior to a visit. Those that wish to see the terrain must sign a binding non-disclosure, non- compete agreement of very long duration. We have refused to deal with for now 3 large companies that have only been willing to offer short duration confidentiality agreements. Such a deal will in the short run be a disaster for the interests of the Liberty Shareholders. We have simply smiled and bid them adieu without revealing any confidential information.”
Kind Regards,

Yes, we are getting negative feedback because our share price is so terrible right now. I'd like to share one of those exchanges with you. "B" from Florida had a few choice words via the Liberty Star website. Here is our exchange:
Question/Comment by "B":
"Bought your stock , now as I read your progress that is none and watch your stock price tumble makes to believe this company is a failure and a scam to stock holders. Your company has nothing but negative chatter in the penny stock investors. When will this change."
My answer:
While I am inclined to delete your aggressively rude message calling Liberty Star a scam and a failure I will remind you that LBSR trades on the OTCQB which requires securities that trade on its platform maintain regular SEC filings. Further, I invite you to review the members of our board of directors. Shall I let Brett Gross and Dr. Guilbert know that they are actively participating in a scam? You refer to "negative chatter in the penny stock investors." On the face of it, your comment is incomprehensible, but I am guessing that you are referring to negative comments by anonymous posters on message boards. If that is what you meant my response is, WOW--do you regard these places as offering a credible foundation to make your buying/selling decisions on? Further, if you would like to see a more measured, even positive regard toward Liberty Star I invite you to review the Discussion Forum on Agoracom http://agoracom.com/ir/libertystar/forums/discussion . We can review and respond to questions and comments posted on Agoracom in a way that we cannot to posts on anonymous message boards.
While we may indeed fail (as is prominently stated in all of our quarterly and annual financial filings with the SEC), calling the company a scam because there is a possibility of failure shows a distinct lack of understanding of the mineral exploration industry and is incorrect. Clearly we've spent much time and money on serious geologic studies conducted by professional geoscientists on our properties. You've looked at our website: did you read any of the articles on ZTEM geophysical surveys? How about the geochemical work we have done: is Shea Clark Smith, a renowned geochemist a scammer as well? The specific geochemical methodology used on our properties is unique, and a trade secret, but the efficacy of geochemical studies is well documented in the professional literature.
Our current share price is disheartening, but not without precedents both in the industry at large and for our stock as well. We have been in a similar position before and saw our shares rise in price over 1000% based on positive news. While we cannot guarantee that we will have a similar outcome again, we are certainly working toward a massive recovery of share value based on continuing hard work, good news, and good results in the field.
If you have specific questions, especially regarding the Hay Mountain Project, our premier exploration property, please give me a call. If necessary, I can make an appointment for you to review the publicly released scientific information with CEO/Chief Geologist Jim Briscoe, or the legalities we operate under with Director Brett Gross who has a BS and MS in Mining Engineering, has a law degree and is a practicing attorney.

Thanks Wesley. I figure Briscoe is out there every few days getting dirt under his fingernails. I can picture a few of us like a bunch of Chevy Chases out there stirring up dust and knocking stuff over, maybe busting a few rocks and plinking rattlesnakes. I hope they have some picnic tables when we break for lunch. I would enjoy my tuna salad sandwiches and oatmeal cookies and a gallon of water after a morning digging around in the dirt and rocks. Here's hoping for good news in the interim.
Uranium prices going up and LBSR drops another 10% Go figure!
Who cares? Does LBSR produce uranium?
Yeah, JB is giving you a gift. Buy more!!!
You just got to love this stock!
JB are you still alive?

Liberty Star CEO/Chief Geologist Briscoe Updates Manila, Philippines Hay Mountain Project Presentation
Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. (“Liberty Star” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: LBSR) is pleased to announce a very positive response to the meeting and presentation of the Company’s wholly owned Hay Mountain Project by Liberty Star President James A. Briscoe and Director Brett Gross in Manila, Philippines. Mr. Briscoe offers his assessment of the presentation and meeting conducted March 2-3 in Manila:
“We presented the Hay Mountain Project in great detail to a group of 16 long experienced mining professionals and potential investors in downtown Manila, Philippines on Monday. The response was very positive to both the geologic details and the business proposition presented by Director Gross. The company has been in almost constant communication since the presentation, and we believe substantial and important progress is being made toward financing of Phase 1, which will then lead to Phase 2 in the following year.
“Preparation for the meeting took place on Sunday, March 1, 2015, as some of the participants arrived a day early and were staying at the same hotel we were presenting in. The prerequisite to attend the meeting was signing a binding legal non-disclosure and non-compete (ND/NC) agreement. This task had been completed by several of the early attendees, so they were able to partake in generalities about Hay Mountain. The following morning work started at 7 a.m. in obtaining signatures from the rest of the attendees, several of whom had traveled great distances to attend. Once all the ND/NC documents were signed, the meeting started on time at 9 a.m.
“I presented first, reviewing detailed geologic, geochemical, geophysical details and interpretation of the detailed and various studies that have been conducted over the last four years. At the end of about 2.5 hours, we took a short break and then Brett Gross presented the business plan, and ongoing questions and comments were answered and discussed, on both presentations.
“Significant interest continues after the Manila meeting. Four mining experts are expected to travel to Tucson, where a thorough tour will be arranged, which will take an expected three to four days, to examine local large mines that are similar to what is expected at depth at Hay Mountain. The tour will be conducted as soon as travel visas can be arranged. We believe that because of their background they will be as impressed with the potential as we are. Of course success cannot be assured, but this a very strong starting point.
“Other interested parties of significant stature are currently discussing a starting point, which is our stringent ND/NC document. We hope that we can continue meaningful negotiations with them as well.
“Considering the low point in the copper cycle, it is encouraging that we are getting such substantial response, and I look forward to the potential that Phase 1 will be financed soon.”
