Can't imagine why anyone would sell right now. The party is just starting.
We're all holding our breath. Clearly your investing knowledge is second-to-none.
Yup, that $400 cost is very impressive. And being able to grow without needing to take on debt makes the long-term picture here something people should be looking closely at. For those of us who have big numbers of shares, it's going to be hard to resist greed as the stock price reaches new levels. But I think it's going to be important to resist...I predict we'll see a lot of people next year who will be kicking themselves for selling way too early.
Wow. Anyone who's not thrilled with the short and long-term prospects of MXSG after listening to that should go back to the drawing board. And anyone who would even think about selling a share of this stock right now should have their head examined.
A little more than that, actually. It was splint into 2 orders but that was me buying. Wanted to get one more big chunk of shares and the clock was ticking. Didn't want another day to pass trying to get someone to sell that many shares a half-penny cheaper. Had no luck finding a seller at .075 last week so I pulled the trigger. Production news is right around the corner...next year, when we're at ten times this level, I'm not going to be worrying about that half-penny.
:)
What did they do? Not all of us watch the Level 2 all day...
All the same deeply thought out brainpower that goes into The Donald's "plans."
You were just using slang when saying "break ground," right? Pretty sure everyone here is aware that there's significantly more work involved than that. If asking when will we have a money-making machine for the next 2 decades ready to go...should be very soon. If we're doing predictions, I'd guess before Thanksgiving.
If you think "the stock has been the same price for weeks" makes a stock a loser, you may be the worst investor I have ever met.
We all know what will happen. And that we're in good hands. But this conversation already happened mid-August. Just repeating what was already talked about here.
Maybe. Last time, it was PT selling a handful to pay some bills before production/money started.
Very few of the big shareholders post on this board anymore. Not sure how it was possible to miss all the conversation about it.
I agree.
Used to get annoyed by the cheerleading here, thinking it was typical message board newbie noise. But this really is something special. I believe a lot of people will regret not buying a lot more or selling too early.
I don't know how to rank all the information from Mexus over the last year, but this or the partnership agreement are right at the top. Agree with the other comments. Gold is coming, money is coming, and people will follow. I feel that we'll one day look back and feel extremely fortunate to be in on this stock at this stage, before most people knew much about it.
Your worry is over the top. Remember, this is a company that has very little money, has never made much of anything, and is under 7 cents a share. What do you think they are going to fall to? And based on what? They are literally on the verge of gold production for the next 2 decades. A situation that they have never been in. The stock was at over 50 cents just in the hope of being in a place like the one it is in right now. I'm not saying it will be $100 a share, but the stock price is going to be significantly higher by the end of the year. Next year, a dollar isn't out of reach. With posts like that, maybe watching the ticker every day isn't for you.
Absolutely agree that the most important thing is our very positive direction here. No doubt about that. However, for those shares of ours to increase as much as we'd like, it's fairly important that news goes out in a way that has the biggest impact on people. I would think everyone wants that. In no way does that change my opinion about the company or stock.
Nobody needs to be told to chill. We don't have to pick one or the other. You can strongly believe in Mexus and also realize they need to improve their PR delivery and writing. It is an incredibly promising company that also happens to be terrible at delivering news at the moment.
All of us here (well, 99% of us) have a strong idea of how good the short-term future could get for Mexus over the next few months. Not to mention the long-term future with multiple gold mines in production. October's upcoming news is the start of really tangible updates that will prove this company is ready to move to another level.
That being said, the way they release PR and news updates sometimes comes across as amateur. We should be better than blind cheerleaders here. We should be able to see things that need improvement as well as all the huge positives that are happening.
So I wanted to do my part and wrote the following email to Paul Dent today:
Hi Paul, I'm a Mexus shareholder. I own a pretty good-sized amount of shares, to be honest. So, to say I am paying close attention to things would be putting it mildly. Like a few others, I have a lot riding on MXSG stock. I don't mean that in a pressure-filled way...just saying that I believe in the company and have put my money where my mouth is. Was very happy to hear your interview a few weeks ago and was impressed by how intelligent and articulate you sounded. In a very constructive way, I'd like to give some feedback on how PR's are being released. Honestly, sometimes the grammar and language can come across as a bit unprofessional. I know you have logged into the message boards, so you may have seen some similar sentiment there. Obviously, we all believe in this company. There is so much good news happening right now. I just wanted to reach out and say that future news will be shared with the public in an effective way so that people really get the message as intended. Thank you for your time.
I disagree. If regularly watching the Level 2, you can see how "small-time" the trading activity has been. There is VERY little selling action here, literally just a couple of people most likely who are happy with lunch money trades. The majority of trades aren't even $1,000. The people who own big chunks here have already taken their big positions. When production starts and there is news that money is starting to be made here, the volume will increase and the stock will be ready to take the next leg up in price. In the meantime, it's already up 30x this year (incredible by any definition) and we have an opportunity to load up before the end of October. Any small-timers willing to sell shares right now are giving you a gift. Like any mining stock, it's a different story when production starts (even though it has been great already).
Remember, the story hasn't really started. We are basically in the "Prologue" section of the book. Chapter One is coming in a month.
That was probably the most thought-out, well-written post I have ever read here. Thank you so much for taking the time to share it. Obviously, this news today in addition to what will be happening by the end of October is extremely exciting. Like you said, draw your own conclusions.
Most of us who have held this stock for years are very patient. It has been a great year already. But that storm was preceded the "during the month of October" statement so we are still on that schedule. Either way, I'm not sweating a few weeks. I'm up a thousand percent already this year so perfectly happy with what's coming this fall. Like you said, this is a great last opportunity for people to load up if they haven't already.
I haven't heard any info or rumors about that but I think it's an interesting idea. Share buyback, etc. Have heard a lot of dividend thoughts and believe someone said Paul Thompson has mentioned it himself.
Yeah, it's important to remember that this is still a very small operation. Sometimes people forget that - wondering why Thompson would sell a handful of shares, why a PR does or doesn't come out, etc. There just isn't much money here yet. Which is why October is so huge. The start of a couple decades worth of production is gigantic news for a company of this size. To answer the original question, just because they haven't released those estimates yet doesn't mean they don't know them. It's pretty clear they have a very good idea and it is extremely positive. Lots of clues in interviews like this one from a few weeks ago:

I would be (very) happy to wager on that too.
I believe the people who sell at 15 or 20 cents will regret it in a big way. There were some who bought under a penny and sold at 2.5 cents. Well, it has tripled since then. And this company has not even really gotten started yet. With the numbers that will be announced next month, the fact that it will be the start of 20 years of production, and the other mine news that will most likely be coming next year...this really isn't the time to sell.
I don't know if it's because of lack of experience or knowledge, but...
Believing that little percentage moves in either direction on this stock right now are because of big buying or selling is based on some form of ignorance. There is so little money actually being traded here right now that we're likely talking about one or two people who are actually trying to profit-take with their selling.
It's such small-time "trader" activity that it's crazy any time is spent talking about it here. Like with any stock, there will always be dumb people doing dumb things.
Once Mexus is in production (by the end of October), we will see real volume here. Until then, don't forget what the stock has already done this year. It's incredible.
I agree that any small-timers trying to day trade this stock should find a hobby they are more equipped for. Smart money is anyone accumulating in advance of next month's news. Or the people who have already accumulated shares. Instead of a few hundred bucks, they are already up 6 figures or more here.
What do you need to know? Oh, just that we have been waiting years for what is happening right now. Accumulating shares for years to be in this position. Being in production in October is gigantic news. That should be enough for you. But if you aren't looking to buy and hold for a while, you're going to likely leave money on the table. This won't be the only Mexus mine in production in the coming years.
Because the "news" is a future event. Specifically, an event that all big Mexus shareholders already knew about. There's still a big under-the-radar factor with MXSG. That's likely going to be the case until gold starts flowing in October. Once that happens, it's anyone's guess how high this moves over the next year. Some believe it will be over a buck at this time 2017. I think anyone buying and holding at these prices will be very happy in the years ahead.
Agreed. Not to mention what is happening politically in this country. With the circus clown or ice queen on tap, there will be more and more panic in the streets. That fear and uncertainty always leads people back to gold. It's a great time to be holding the stock of a company ready to produce it.
LOL. Seriously? A new one is born here everyday. When a guy owns that many shares and sells that few, it's obvious why. Or do you think that the owner of a one-man shop has that much overflowing in his bank account to cover all bills that come up in life, no matter what? Funny how some think the CEO of Mexus Gold, a 7 cent per share company, has "CEO" money. It's like people forget this is a penny stock sometimes. There's very little money here.
Yet.
How about we make a little wager and test your confidence?
At the end of September, if the stock price is 20% (or more) higher, then you lose. Going up 20% in the next month is a lot to ask of a stock that is as weak as you say it is, right?
And if at the end of September, if the stock price hasn't gone up 20%, then you win.
If your argument is that gold is falling and there's too much in the world to make money with it...I thank you for sparing me the need to respond. You're doing a better job of picking apart your logic than I could ever do.
When I see out-of-left-field posts like that one, it makes me very confident in where a stock is going. More of that is coming as MXSG gets increased attention. Production/gold in September after announcing partnership just a few months ago is very fast. Anyone who doesn't understand that is either looking for attention or doesn't understand mining at all. Brightest time in the history of this company.
Yeah, was a low volume day. Crazy thing about penny stocks is sometimes it's literally just one or two people attempting to profit take and trade. This is definitely an example of one that most stockholders are holding long-term. Personally, I made the mistake of trying to get cute and trade it a few months ago. Dumb move. I had to buy back in higher. We know production is within 60 days. I think it's probably more like 30 days. Once it happens, I think a lot more people become aware of Mexus and volume goes way up here. Literally at the doorstep of the moment we've been waiting for for years. I have no idea why anyone would sell now. Good chance they'll regret it later.
And will be in production within 2 months.
Really impressive interview. I don't know how anyone could hear that and not get excited. Here's a direct link to it:
http://www.kereport.com/2016/08/22/exclusive-introduction-mexus-gold/
Most of the people here have been waiting years for what has happened in the last few months. You're investing in a company that has been sitting on a lot of gold. They finally signed with a partner at the perfect time in a deal that was much better than anyone expected. This is a mining company that is about to start pulling gold out of the ground. For many years. So, yeah, this is "legit." If you're holding for a while, you should be very happy with this investment. If you're looking for a quick short-term pop, you might be kicking yourself later for taking pennies instead of dollars. Spend a few hours reading through posts and you'll get an idea what kind of time this is in the history of this company.
Man, it's hard to believe anyone would sell here. This 5 and 6 cent range is so low for what is on the verge of being a gold-producing company for years. Trading dollars for pennies isn't my style, but to each their own. With more bigger buys coming in each week, that strategy is playing with fire. When this one makes the next jump, it will happen fast.
Absolutely agree. The rest of this year should be very interesting, as we start to see glimpses of the future of this company.
More like "is imminent." :)
But however one spells it, I agree!
