I did notice that. I applaud Leo for going after the voucher and I'm pretty sure they have a good chance getting it. But even though Leo has been acting more mature in the recent press releases I think he still has something to work on. I do understand why it is tempting to include the money value of such a voucher in times where the pps is too low but it's somewhat inappropriate IMO. He would never sell it anyway. We all know that. And people with a minimum of biotech knowledge will understand the significance of such a voucher anyway so no need to be yelling it from the rooftops. Still, I think Leo has improved dramatically over the past weeks and I support the continuous flow of information. Now, let's get past $4, go to Nasdaq, finish some trials and save some lives.

Which alternative the manipulator pursues depends on whether he wants to conceal his behavior and his aversion to detection risk. He can reduce this risk by achieving a pooling equilibrium but must sacrifice some of the potential profit from more aggressive manipulation. Departures from a pooling equilibrium (e.g., more aggressive naked shorting) are more likely when the manipulator registers as a market-maker to avail himself of the short sale rule exceptions and also when he succeeds in driving the share price below one dollar to push the stock into a less regulatory intensive market, such as the OTC Bulletin Board. Driving the price down enough to trigger delisting provides a natural cover for the manipulation because it signals a deterioration in the firm’s financial condition and its prospects to those market participants who are unaware of the fraud.71
The type of behavior modeled in this section is more likely to occur in the OTC Bulletin Board market than on the exchanges or in the Nasdaq National Market. It might take the form of trading by investment ‘pools’ (informal investor networks) that have enlisted the cooperation of one or more market-makers, who reduce the risk of detection because of the market-maker exceptions to the short sale rules. These pools could reduce the risk of detection by spreading the
70 The weaker short sale restrictions on the OTCBB, including under Regulation SHO, indicates the difference in regulatory environment.

This pattern of behavior is documented in the SEC’s enforcement action against manipulative short sellers in SEC v. Rhino and Badian (SEC, 2003a).

You're not alone. I bought quite a lot the other day too. I'm a bad trader but hopefully a clever investor.
I like the fact that Leo addresses us shareholders directly on top of the PR. Builds confidence in these hard times. It would take a raving psychopath to induce false hope amongst loyal shareholders knowing that the compounds you are developing, the chief scientist behind the compounds and the office furniture is all bogus.
Good luck. Back to the garden.
Nice to know that you're still standing, BH.
In hindsight, a trip to NYSE before going on to Nasdaq would have been nice.
Ok, I definitely need to focus on gardening or something like that for the next month or so. This is depressing. No more dry powder and, frankly, no more guts to keep buying. Will hold all my shares and wait this out.
Now that TOB has posted a reply from Leo stating stating that it's ok to post his emails here is like to post his reply to me re uplisting. It was - as you can see - followed by a confidentiality note, so I didn't want to post it until I had green light from Leo. Unfortunately, he never got back to me when I asked for permission to post. I guess he was busy.
Anyway, here is the correspondence. Only x'ed out my name.
As you can see I have paraphrased his answer in my previous posts here and haven't kept anything a secret. Just didn't want to repost his actual mail word by word before now.
Hi X,
There are different ways we can be eligible for uplisting besides share price of $4. We would now be eligible if our audit statements were more recent. After our annual audit is completed and filed in August/September we can approach NASDAQ (if we havent uplisted by then due to share price).
Best,

Dear Mr. Erlich,
Congratulations on your latest achievements. That's fantastic. However, one thing seems to be continuously dragging CTIX down and that the fact that it's still a pinkie.
Are you able to clarify why Nasdaq hasn't yet approved your application ? Last time you updated shareholders about the situation you said that the pps was the reason why the application was still pending. At that time CTIX was trading just below $3 so it seems obvious that $3 was the threshold. But now CTIX has been trading above $3 for more than the 5 required days and yet no uplisting has occurred. Therefore, it seems that the pps was indeed not the sole reason. Any response would be highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
X
Yes. I agree. The gum article was very eloquent but not very much apart from the SA in substance.
It might very well be a lie. But if not, think about it, The Rosen PR was just sent out at this time - probably a few hours before Leo and Menon took time to talk to the pack of gum. If I'd just received news that a law firm planned to sue me I'd wanna look into that, too.
Had decided to take a break from looking at pps and the board. Simply too frustrating these days and I'm not selling one single share anyway. But I was curious - 2 days and I got abstinences Thanks a lot for taking time to visit Leo & Co. and for writing about it here.
I posted this reply on SA. Guess what... it was deleted.
Thank you Matija for taking time to write this very eloquent piece that show how outrageously poor the other article - the hit piece - was. Cellceutix is of course high risk. Investing in biotech is per definition high risk. But if you understand the science and invest a lot of time doing dd then there is also high reward as you write. Only few companies hold an upside as big as CTIX at the curent valutation but of course there is still risk. Thank you for being the voice of reason and for sharing your expertice. Hopefully, people will see who is most trustworty: An anonymous writer with an anonymous "scientist" as his side kick or you, the FDA, Dana Farber, Dr. Shapiro, University of Bologna, Dr. Emil Frei - and the company, of course.
But as I understand it spontaneous regression of thymic tumors is very rare. Isn't that correct ? That should add to the likelihood of Kevetrin being the cause for the 6% shrinkage.
I've added 25 % to my position today. Please ask me to stop
My order got filled with some 100 lots as well. Is that the MMs?
Couldn't resist it anymore. Just bought.
Decided not to add when it was below 2 because I'm maxed out. But it's like saying no to desert when you're at a fine restaurant. Had to do it and obviously I should have done it last week.
The CEO really is beginning to show what he is made of. I sense a new style in his press releases compared to a year ago. Hopefully, the PR will help rebuilding trust in CTIX. Mine is intact. I'm buying this am.

According to Forbes the Bleecker dude is nothing but a self righteous college kid claiming to be the voice of truth. He made a big mistake taking on CTIX.

Yes. Mind blowing. And as it has been suggested here previously, maybe Kevetrin can be administered prophylactic. Not only for cancers but also for auto immune disorders.
"Honey, did you remember to take your vitamins and your daily Kevetrin this morning ?"
http://medicalxpress.com/news/2015-07-tumor-suppressor-p53-signaling-mediated-phagocytosis.html
"A team of researchers with affiliations to a number of research centers in the U.S. has found that the protein p53 serves as a controlling mechanism for apoptotic (naturally dying) cells through the immunoglobulin Death Domain 1a (DD1a). The group outlines their research efforts and results in the journal Science. French medical researchers Laurence Zitvogel and Guido Kroemer offer a PERSPECTIVE piece on the work done by the team in the same journal edition.
In order to stay alive, living organisms continually generate new cells to replace those that die—the cells that die are continually collected and removed from the body—at least that is how it is supposed to work. When the cleanup goes astray it can lead to different types of immune diseases as the body comes to see those dead cells as foreign invaders and attacks them, leading to inflammation and a host of other problems. As the researchers note, as part of the normal cleaning up process, some degree of immune suppression occurs in order to allow for an orderly process, but how that fine line is managed is still somewhat of a mystery. In this new effort the researchers took a closer look at p53, a protein that is involved in controlling the cleaning up of dead cells, and more specifically, DD1a, another protein involved in the process, to see if they could determine the underlying mechanism.
In studying how the proteins function, the researchers found that p53 actually controls the transcription of DD1a in cells that are dying, and also in T cells and macrophages (large white blood cells) and in addition also serves as a cell receptor. To test the impact of DD1a in a living organism, the team caused it to be suppressed in several lab mice—doing so impaired dead cell clearing. They also found evidence of some tumor cells taking advantage of DD1a's functions, allowing them to suppress attacksw by T cells.
The results suggest that if doctors were given a way to control p53 and thus DD1a in patients afflicted with autoimmune diseases, it might be possible to bring the process of cell clearage under control, and thus alleviate symptoms.

Down 7 figures and still optimistic. Wauv. That takes cojones I wish you a lot of success.
Ok. Didn't see that. In another time zone and woke up to +20% and was very happy.
So, how much do you think this shorter pos lost today ? I reckon he made a lot of money yesterday (?) but how about today. Would shorts usually continue for a second day after such a hit piece ?
Wonderful. Thank you so much. And Ztang: Good job. Big thanks to you.

Just black out all contact info and leave name and logo.
How about uploading a photo of that CTIX t-shirt and base ball cap to Dropbox and shoot us a link? Would love to see it. And I'd love to get one for my self.
Where I come from we have a word for people speculating in others misfortune. It's not a nice word and it's not suitable for this board. But I guess even Saint Peter will greet the SA author with this word when time comes.
LR, if you go back and look at my latest posts you'll see that I asked Leo about uplisting and got a reply. However, I forgot to ask his permission to post his reply and he never got back to me when I asked him for his permission in a second email.
I won't post his email but what TOB writes is accurate.
F.
I emailed the DF press department asking them to elaborate on the spleen lesion. I got a reply asking me to send them the PR that Leo had sent out. Apparently, they did not know. When I emailed the PR Ingot another reply where they promised to get back to me shortly. They never did.
You're on a roll today. Keep'em coming. Best posts for days on this board.
I think many of the clashes on this board derive from the fact that some are gamblers and others are investing. Those who bought CTIX as a lottery ticket are getting impatient. Investors know that bio-investments are not counted in weeks or months but in years. I'm not a gambler.
This ought to be a sticky. Must read for newbie bio-investors.
My understanding is that had the pps been $4 today Leo could have uplisted. Had the pps been $3 and had the 10-K been more recent he could have uplisted too. With a pps below $2 I don't know.
