You are welcome Stef, i just might go to Aspen myself when this is all said and done...
You mean like totally redeemed itself.
Redeem yourself
Agreed that it will be needed, i was just looking at what is really the meat and potatoes part of this portfolio, the LI is the gravy however, i will just assume that it is value added and that governments will require it but never pay for it. Who really knows!
BMIC, ASCM and BTIG all still there as far as i can see in one wasy or another, WORL does seem to be gone.
Given the current state of affairs, i think this BOD will License before they sell for 200 mill. Let's run those numbers, lets say there are 900 billion cellular phone calls made each year in the US, then lets say VPLM tech licenses there IP at a rate of .0001 cents per call. That equals 90 million dollars annually. This is just cell phone calls in the USA, lets add in MMS & SMS plus home phone and business services. Then we add in 2.2 trillion text messages, this does not include IM, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Let's say we get a royalty of .00001 cents per message, thats 22 million, so now we sit at 112 million in annual revenue, i will stop there before the numbers get out of hand because again, we have not looked at home phones and business phones and we have only looked at the USA, remember there are only 300 million people here, there are 7 billion in the world... Regardless, if we only take the 112 million revenue model and then apply it to the average S&P 500 company which historically trades at a PE ratio of 18-22 times annual revenue, then we can argue that at the low end of this spectrum, we should see a valuation of 2.016 billion to 2.464 billion as a value for this technology... Just saying.

VNDM=Vandham, they have been here for ever, second largest brokerage YTD by volume in VPLM (see below). BMIC actually is Bitmore International, not Blackwell, they are definetly more scarce in this but have been around before.
Monthly Volume Report
Thnx. I think we have to remember the one person who waves the big stick here, nothing gets done without Malak saying yes. The BOD can negotiate all they want but they will need his approval.
What kind of agreement are you thinking.
Who is Messrs, you keep saying that name?
16 and a half years actually, in one form or another...

NRG, i do love your optimism!
I don't disagree with you, i just don't see that big of a jump in the next 24 hours. People will see this as a positive for the most part but will also approach it with cautious optimism. IMO, it is going to take more than a blackout to push this beyond $1.00. On the other hand, i don't mind being wrong either...
I don't see it that high but I am going to say between .25 & .35!
...it's a Golden Goose!
ABSOLUTELY. And btw, I hate that song but perhaps I would tolerate it for the greater good. I think I may just have to extend my S. American vacation if this thing goes in the next 2 weeks.

Black OUT
Agreed, I am good with next week still. I would love to see this done before my summer vacation!
Basically it means that they have the patented technology for how virtually all telephone companies and IP providers determine how to route, monitor usage and bill for virtually all forms of modern communiction, VoIP, SMS, MMS, cellular call via IP, fixed landline to IP and vice versa. The RBR is also capable of improving efficiency by choosing the best pipeline to route a call, thus helping to improve call quality.

OK, I guess I am failing to see what your definition of "quality investors" is, would you mind elaborating?
Most likely, however I don't believe that the continuation patents are as relevant to a sale of VPLM as the parent patents are so like Thrill has said, they are just crossing the T's and dotting their I's
I don't think could is the word, "would" result in dilution absolutely. Not my first or even my second choice but if I am sticking with this, I am glad there are more options than just a sale.
I agree, they would be better off giving that money to a law firm to litigate some licensing agreements.
Done, i find it funny that of the 7 pending children, the one that gets done first is the one with the different examiner, all the rest are under another examiner! Things that make you say hmmm.
RBR second child, VPLMs 6th patent...

I definetly was not trying to pull me back to point, regardless, additionally i want a buyout just as much if not more than most. I personally am willing to accept monetization through licensing however if that is what it is going to take to get this valued at more than pennies. I have imagined what the address books for Tucker, Malak, Candy, Sawyer and Chang look like and honestly i don't feel a big PR campaign would improve the prospects for VPLM.
NO, not even close. I assume quality investors = deep pockets or ones that have the ability to ride this to the end goal. Think Warren Buffet style. I have no problem with buying and selling, i do it every day with multiple investments, that is my discipline. Some things i will hold a whole lot longer based on my objectives and what i perceive to be the end goal, i hold quality blue chips paying attractive dividends, i buy and sell large caps based on my perception of below market valuations. I wager on international holdings in what i consider areas/sectors that have lagged in the recovery since the financial crisis. I even hold bonds, both government and corporate to mitigate any potential downside in the equity markets. I definetly have no issues with selling, but at this stage, i would be selling holdings that are up, be it only if that was 5% and using those proceeds to buy what is down. I call it managing for capital growth...
Precisely, that is why i am not sure they should be looking for quality investors.
Fair enough, i just see it as if they are going to push for quality investors, and in no way am I saying that any of us are not quality, but if they are looking for that, then i would have to say we are looking at a totally different approach than a buyout, we are then going to head for licensing and revenue generating. It has been said but that will be a whole lot longer ride than i think some here are willing to take. That being siad, it may also provide a much greater opportunity to see a true valuation, this may or may not be a good thing.
CEO, can you clarify, you say get the word out to quality investors, is that what you mean or is it get the word out to quality buyers?
I agree Thrill, if they came out and said we are talking to three entities, you run the risk of ticking them off and having all of them walk out the door mumbling something to the effect of, "Are we stupid, they think they can run the price up on us!"
Lets take a look at Dr. Dre, he apparently agrees to sell Beats for 3.2 billion, then he goes on a drunken tirade claiming he will be the first billionaire of his genre that gets posted online, Apple gets PO'd and next thing you know, they only end up paying 3 billion, one little thing cost 200 million...
Well seeing as I heard in Dec and I bought this year again, my previous answer to this question is still Y E S.
It is the second child of RBR, it is one of seven continuation patents. Three on RBR and one each on the other four parent patents.
Hmmm, $.87 for the decoder ring or 7 more shares, tough decision.
Arg, lol. I dont think so but you may be correct, accept my apologies if I am wrong but kiss my... Just kidding. However, Malak also stated that he felt Skype was worthless... Now i have to go listen to it again...
I have to believe that he does, i listened to the CC again last night and Malak actually speaks to numbers ranging from 100 million to two billion, i think Tucker or Candy spouted a 25 billion in there however. At the end of the day, Malak will follow Sawyers' lead, how can you not defer to such a great resume such as his...
Sounds good, Swami and Wise Grasshopper. Has Swami written anything new on the bathroom wall at Hooters lately?
...and for my next trick, ah forget it but to answer the next question (which i am sure is coming) why not VC... Well it's not always that easy to get a private entity or even a bank to fork over millions of dollars for IP (Intellectual Property) that has not even been secured.
I think the conversation would go like this.
"Please Mr. Banker, give me $10,000,000.00, i need to pay my lawyers and cover my expense for the next couple of years so i can finish getting my patents issued. Why no, i don't have them issued yet, what do you mean, please stop laughing, i can't understand what you are saying. Well actually, they pretty much all got denied on my first attemp but i am certain i will get the done this time or perhaps the next. Ok ok ok, i am leaving, please remove your foot from my A**."
Hence why the US OTC was the most viable option, it gave this technology a new lease on life, one that was not going to be afforded to them otherwise... Just saying
IMO
I can guarantee he has a say in it, they kinda need shareholder approval and seeing as he has 30+%, it's pretty important.
Where they only let you split pennies in half instead of down to the ten thousands.
