Pathetic! How could some worms kept in capitivity have an environmental impact!
I'm all for the environment and for green energy but sometimes human stupidity is too much!
What would be the potential environmental impact if one or a few worms or moths escaped (or were intentionally put in the natural environment...)? Reproduction with existing species? Modification of existing species in their capacity to produce silk?
If so, do the freakin tests and get on with it! Let's get our Company do some magic!!!! Vietnam's economy needs and US economy too!
Thank you Pennies, this is very valuable information that correct some of the "I know everything bull..." going on this board.
If I understand correctly, unless we get a day to day garnment company (or any other that can incorporate our silk in their products) interested in our silk, with a proven capacity to mass produce, we are years from a significant movement on our PPS...
Well, for every buy there is a sell???
Awfully looks like there is a pump and dump going on???
Yep, a lot of things don't grow naturally in the US (sugar cane, cotton and rice are a few examples), however, US has managed to produce tons of those products!
"Don't think there is a lithium mine in the USA."
Are you sure about that:

All the excitement was short lived!
The market is very slow on picking up on the news, to say the least!
"Rice doesn’t know exactly how the Army intends to test his company’s next material but said that he expects they would be more involved in the development of material and potential applications from this point out."
That is very interesting and very comforting, the army will assist in further developing our material and potential applications! In other words, they will probably provide additional human, material and financial resources, as needed if they deem the material and applications to be of value!
Exactly!
No my post was directed at Red as he was referencing you.
I have indicated that today's news was a great one but It is foolish to pretend this news alone will take us to a dollar! And by the way I have also said in the past that the PPS has the potential go beyond a dollar if everything is done right?!!! I wouldn't be here otherwise.
Sorry Bob I don't share all that enthusiasm. I will share it when there is a real and tangible proof (ie the PPS) that we are breaking out to a dollar. We are not there yet.
"...the share price at the end of the day is all that matters."
Well Ruskie, it takes the actions and the related news to make the share price move.
"...but realize the larger amounts come when KBLB is speaking to prototypes being made, which the Army will desire in mass quantities."
This is precisely why I think it is great news, we agree on that, fo sure!
Sorry that was a B not a T.
You may differ but numbers don't lie, $1M contract over a $xxT budget is small change!
Yes, $1M may be small change for the military but it is a vote of confidence!
"Vietnam will come just in time when demand increases. That's my vision."
Sounds like a good vision to me too! Not only Vietnam but many others would come if we get production going in the States!
Yes I think it will.
Yes indeed, very good news and a definitive sign of very positive development! This gives real credibility in our product!
Well done Kim, Jon and everyone who were involved!
Yes sorry, please excuse my French!
Well, Rome would probably exist but would be a village of four with big sings indicating how much potential it has and how many people would desire to live there! Those sings would also indicate that the "City" does not have running water, sewage and paved roads, but it is really working hard to get the infrastructure in place within a very promising timeline!
And frankly, I'm quite fed up of hearing all the great achievements that can be done with spider silk and yet, none has materialised to commercial level, specially not at KBLB!
Again, you are not seeing in the past! Many of us have been looking in the future for the past seven years!
Yeah, our Company is soooooo disruptive!
Yep dirt cheap, because it worth that much!
They tend to come anyways!
"Pretty much except it is very much Kims problem."
Since when did you decide that Kim has some responsibilities in this Company???
We know the drill...it's not Kim's problem and he owes us nothing...we have the choice to invest or not...this is the way all companies work...no one knows nothing, no one is entitled to anything and no one should expect anything and you, most of all, have the experience as a CEO to say something!
Did I get it right?! It took at me least seven years to get that drill, however, I'm still not sure to get it right...
We've been told that we have a rocket...I guess we still need to prove it is.
Sure! But Houston, please provide fuel for the launch!
Well, those who wish to buy tomorrow won't have any trouble doing it!
Three key words that are typical of a PR guy: I...believe...could
Shouldn't Ben be able to answer that...or not...could be a Company secret!!!
Really Ruskie?! And from whom did you learn this BIG NEWS for next week?
" I don't think Kim is the kind to get to far ahead of himself. "
I beg to differ, but Kim had already announced metric ton capacity a long time ago, yet the Company is still figuring out how to achieve it!
You are giving to much credit to what Ben says, IMHO!
Well, according to most PRs every year since the last past six years were exciting years?!
At $5.6K it is certainly not a major holding, but it's a start!
Thanks Lebbe.
It is a shame how much we have to dig for information related to our Company!
