LOL Stock left that off, shoot will have to call PM harper and have him expelled...lol
Sounds like he just keeps digging himself deeper and deeper in sheet.
Oh plus, with hockey most stay very humble, as their team-mates will always keep them in check. Even the best get bugged and have to learn to suck it up.
Absolutely, I find the same thing with people who practice martial arts.
Having a controlled and discipline outlet for aggression and "war" will let out the aggressive side most men have.
Oh yah football is a tough sport and the guys are huge...
Hockey, some chipped teeth, collar bone, ankle, fingers, wrist, knuckles, but never had the honker broken, at least not yet.
Maybe if I stick around here more that might happen, ROFL
Always played right defense for any team I was on, and would only play for the team if I was given the number 4 (Bobby Orr).
Getting the jersey over the head was always choice lol
"No way trying to heal some wounds with a bit of laughter."
Yeah okay then...
No doubt you see things only the "aware" see, lol
LOL, I think we can all agree to limit that to Beautiful Women only...lol
Are we discussing politics on this board again or not?
Political post?
I wasn't referring to the content of your post, but the subject matter.
Sorry if the content of your post and my response to it has you in a stressed out mood today.
Try and have a nice rest of the day,
Oh absolutely, I was not calling out one in favor of the other. But the depths of selfishness truly shocked me, if what they report are true.
If Nixon has the blood of 20K Americans that still fought and died when peace could have be had, is not something any person would want on their soul...
Alan, thought you might find this interesting...
"BUT no wait a minute! If I do that those Canadians will mock me and tell me I'm pink and not red or blue with the white in between."
Bruce, you are a character dude, lol
Good post actually,
Freedom and Jeff
A good story and made me think of the Cathouse...

Cheers,
Yeah, I get you dough, think most see it the same way as you.
Perhaps not "the tear it all down part", but all the rest...lol
It has to come from both ends.
It has to be a compromise.
It has to be supported afterwards by both, instead of using the action to slam the other side. The country needs to show the world.
It has to happen sooner better than later.
Right now the American dollar is the world's reserve currency. If this changes, the changes will be felt by most American, Canadians, etc...
No one wants this to happen, but Gold seems like it's headed there,
As it changes the advantage America has in dealing with finances.
Why does a house cost 74 times what it did in 1962...
The arguments are not as simple as the tea party wants you to think they are...
The debt has two sides, one is taxation, one is spending...
It takes two to tango, and the tea party only has two left feet, excuse the pun...
My argument with the tea party is that their mandate is being exploited by the wealthy.
The inability to compromised almost put the USA, and world by extension, in a very severe recession...
Just imagine if Obama did not compromise and the debt ceiling was never increased? Where do you think the world would be today, economically?
America can do anything! But it must compromise to do that.
My arguments of the tea party are they're representing and defending of the wealthy, and their inability to compromise.
I think it is the tea party'ers that have been mis-guided and conned...IMO
Don't be surprised about an uprising. Rich people pay less tax then they have historically.
Ask Buffet, think he knows as he is speaking about his own.
Now that is an American Business Man, not like the CEO's of today...
"Still waters run deep" Many people are very upset, on both sides...
This will lead to strife IMO
okay gone, we agree to disagree...
Let's see how events play out, and we will see with hindsight then, who was blaming and who was predicting correctly the events as they unfolded...
This will not be pretty, not by choice, but because there is no other choice at this point.
There is a time for peace and a time for war, and the fight now must be accepted and fought back hard.
The tea party yelling and screaming and pushing their weight around will now be met with fight IMO, including from republicans and conservatives that are not tea party'ers.
We will see, unfortunately...
You draw conclusions too easily based on bias views, gone...
The tea party is the problem because they are a tool for the wealthy protecting their taxation, hence no new taxes or recalling the Bush tax cuts, as their uncompromising position.
They would not compromise on this latest round of Debt talks, as was evidenced by the world.
lack of compromise in the USA is the root of the problem.
The tea party therefore, in it's current state and mandate, is the biggest problem facing America today, by not allowing for compromise.
It really does not get any simpler,
Not from me, but IMO there will be, plenty...
Yeah okay then Gringo, believe what you want, it doesn't even matter anymore, the cast has been set IMO.
"I will say to you that part of the problem is focusing on your differences with others rather than focusing on your similarities."
This is a message for the tea party, the others have compromised too much...
Anyways, makes no difference now, the fight is on...and this time, the left will be hitting back and defending themselves against the tea party...guns and violence can happen on both sides.
If there is another Gifford's similar shooting or similar attack, it could trigger a need for your national guard and civic uprising like has not been seen in some time.
Unfortunately no one ever wins in a fight, but sometimes they can not be avoided any longer...
The tea party bully is about to be given a bloody nose, IMO.
Oh okay, so you say no need for me to play the race card, but your previous posts was saturated with links about Blacks.
But yet true to finagling form, it is me throwing out the race card. okay then...might as well employ all the old techniques eh, fools most, most of the time.
Links from your previous post could easily lead one to believe you are prejudice sir...
Gringo's non-prejudice (LOL) links...what a joke man...

The cast has been set, many who were not vigilant or militant before are starting to become so, because of recent events in Washington and what they saw of the lack of compromise from the tea party.
gone, I think you are a good person, but the anger that is present now will not be dissipated, nor will the middle-class be fooled or finagled any longer by the Gotcha politics or Simpleton Messaging...
The stone is set IMO, and this will have to be fought out...unfortunately the casualties will be expensive...
Not trying to do any good here but point out what many are FIGHTING to not have considered,
anyways, this is getting useless...
I think the class war the tea party has been crying about will finally come to them...as Buffet asserts.
Becareful what you wish for, you just may get it...
English, should be clear enough...
Provide a link showing where Buffet has changed his view that the rich have waged a war on the middle class...and that the rich have been winning.
I know you can't because Buffet still feels the same way about the unfair taxation...
For many here, whether or not it is openly admitted, it is a black and white issue trying to be finagled as other issues.
The rich will use everything and anything to exploit for their own means, including race.
Anytime you have that link, the good link about buffet, not the BS ones. Anytime you can produce it...we'll be waiting LOL
Riiiiiightttttttt!
Yeah the world does not blame the republicans, no no...okay then...
Anyways, enough BS for a Sunday, let the chips fall where they will.
I think compromise is losing the chance of happening at this point. At least that is how many are feeling. This has to be fought out now IMO.
Believe the two sides will increase the war on each other and have a great fight all the way up to the election in 2012, and the economy will go to sheet.
What has characterized all of this fighting is the relentless selfishness of the rich and privileged.
There has never been a time in history when they freely give up their exploitation and they must be brought down.
Unfortunately the casualties will be high and hard to reverse, as many have noted the rich and political class do not care about anything except themselves.
Argue all you want, it doesn't even matter at this point, the stone is set IMO.
"you may find your information " dated ""
Really, then please provide a link showing that he has changed his position. BTW by link, I mean to a real one, not a tea party BS one...
Believe and politic all you want, it will not change anything.
The rich have been using the scared and ignorant for many years, and the chickens are finally coming home to roost.
Again, Gringo, just to make sure you are clear, a link showing where Buffet has stated he changed his mind from his 2006 comment.
Outside of that, the richest man in the world, or close to it, has spoken out against the tea party finagling and taxation favoring the rich.
And BTW, saying YOU THINK he has, does not count as a link, lol
LOL, that's right Gringo, there is a huge left-wing conspiracy going on that only the highly intelligent tea party'ers can see the truth on. Ya know geniuses like Sarah Palin... yup, okay then...
You're right, you caught all of them including Canada's left-wing conspiracy to report only left-wing dribble to an American audience, so we can fool them too. Yup okay...
With this type of focus, you honestly wonder why there is a problem?
Hope it works out for you, good luck...
"The final argument is the one I really love. People ask how I can be a conservative and still want higher taxes. It makes my head spin, and I guess it shows how old I am. But I thought that conservatives were supposed to like balanced budgets. I thought it was the conservative position to not leave heavy indebtedness to our grandchildren. I thought it was the conservative view that there should be some balance between income and outflow. When did this change?"
Sound familiar or are we still verifying and certifying the REAL conservatives here...
Guess Ben Stein and Buffet are not REAL conservatives, or FRIENDS, wink wink...
unreal,
2006 interview with Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in the world.
"“There’s class warfare, all right,” Mr. Buffett said, “but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”"
It is recognized by one of the richest and smartest people in the world!
What does it say, it's another hidden message or conspiracy against the tea party? Really? Warren Buffet too? Okay then...
Stock until certain facts are realized and the class war spin for the wealthy is brought into focus, it will be hard for anything good to happen.
The root of the problems are not being properly addressed for the sake of politics and the wealthy lobbyists, but the world sees what the problems are, and will act accordingly in protecting themselves as best they can financially, until the problems can be properly recognized by the American public, and appropriate political action is taken.
People have different views and can scream and blame all they want, but the taxation will be addressed eventually. Hopefully before profound damage is done to the middle-class

"we are on a course to hades"
Then everyone will be, as goes the USA goes the western world...
Hopefully solutions are found and worked on.
Hey Alan, just wanted to do a shout out and thank you for the recent posts on fourkids' board, NSS...
Obama has declared a National Emergency, wow, cool...
Power, force, muscle always defeats money, imo...
The Mite of the USA is not something the criminals have calculated correctly and am hoping it will be their downfall,
Cheers man, and thanks for the posts, and please thank fourkids for me as well,
Regards,
Vid from cnbc, let the brief commercial play first...then vid will start,
"Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand."
http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000036851
LOL, so you're the Gringo's from Blemhein eh, now I see the hidden messaging...LOL
Well, if we can agree on something then maybe Washington will be able to too...
I think the USA will no doubt end up doing what needs to be done, but it will take the people coming together to get it done the best, and division for the sake of division, or gotcha politics, serves no one...
America has been changed over this last episode. America was not proud of itself imo. And being a very proud country, it may be what is needed to make the sides come together, if only enough to get the crap solved.
The problems aren't the real challenge, it is uniting the divide and this is where I personally think the tea party is toxic to your country. It has good intentions, but it is being used and supported by the wealthy so they do not have to pay more tax, and the tactic employed is "deny, deny, deny" unless it is one thing, less taxes.
The tea party is a divisive force at a time when divisiveness will really hurt the world, and therefore a large threat to being able to address the problems.
Let's see how this washes out, my gut tells me Americans were not proud of the self-imposed conflict.
Oh, there you are right SJO, there is a ton of racial prejudice in Quebec, as well a a host of other problems facing that province.
Why they have their own immigration? Well that is a long subject on Quebec's place within confederation and really don't have the energy to debate with you on that large subject.
They are an insular society and they have paid a price for it...is pretty much the answer to your post.
Look if you want to grab onto anything to argue with, go for it...I am sure that there are many things you could find in Quebec and Canada to criticize if it makes you feel better...
Knock yourself out,
The points have been made, the drama has played out...and more drama is coming for sure...
There has been an impact on American society after this last episode. It will be interesting to see how it manifests,
My thoughts exactly lol...
LOL, that wasn't me...
I like it when Bruce calls me a kid, wish I was...lol
Have two of them, 24 and 20, and I know for sure they are kids because they are eating more then most friggen countries do...lol
Bay street is our Financial District, all the major banks have their head offices close to Bay, I believe...
LOL, we have no choice Porgie, Canada has two founding peoples and therefore two official languages, English and French...
and yeah, it takes a lot of trees lol,
Cool, hope you felt welcome here...
