Something up?
I agree ...
Acteon has just finished being acquired themselves with new ownership looking to continue the Acteon MO of growth through acquisition. May help explain the apparent restrained growth of PPS.

Something up?
Yes, it is a strange situation
A new industry emerging which is illegal in most of the US. But the potential is mind boggling. I am 62, college years 68-72. Do you think I have some familiarity with our product? Do I know anyone my age who doesn't?? Oh yeah...my wife. Ha Ha
It was easier in Amsterdam
they just handed you "The Menu"
Thanks
You're the man
Thanks badali
Please explain "lifting the chill"
for the newbies here. Like me.
Thanks. Duh.
Where is pr out? Please post a link. Thanks
Thanks Traderfan
I'm wondering if we are going to see the big drop in pps prior to earnings, and heavy selling into the rally, as happened last quarter.
Sorry
I typed that like an e-mail forgetting about the title. What a surprise that was when I checked back.
Hello 10 bagger
You mentioned in an earlier post that CANT was now on the bid side, which represented a positive change. Is this still the case?
An interesting choice for head of sales
at Seatronics. Former Coda Octopus man.

Do they try to walk it down, or let it drift up now...
If it is allowed to rise near term I think 10Bagger's feeling that the stock price will run up this time is confirmed.
A little buying activity.
The volcano is beginning to rumble.
Pretty hard to hold the gains when the company does not issue many press releases
I still find that strange. I think 10 bagger and others have commented that it is almost like they are trying to keep the lid on. Most companies in their position would be trumpeting successes.
Will they report 4th quarter separately? Or wait until the annual report?
nupapa, are you expecting a 4th quarter report before the end of December? thanks.
Is the consensus here that we should see earnings this week?
Thanks 10 Bagger. Is there a hard date for earnings that you are aware of?
This appeared on Acteon website last January. Acteon is the parent of Seatronics, which signed the agreement with Coda Octopus. Acquisition is definitely part of the overall business model. I wonder if the closing by the new ownership of Acteon will free the pursuit new acquisitions. CDOC is involved in so many aspects of undersea activity that it would seem to be a no brainer as an acquisition. I also find it strange that there have been no PR's since August. Keeping things quiet?
Just a flight of fancy offered FYI.

Acteon Group announces change in ownership
Acteon | Defining Subsea Services
Acteon Group Ltd (“Acteon”) today announces the acquisition of a majority interest in the company by an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P (together with its affiliates, “KKR”) from First Reserve, with management retaining a significant holding in the company. The executive management team will remain in place. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Acteon has built a significant subsea services business in the oil and gas sector. This latest investment will support the continued delivery of its ambitions and of its goal to define the market in this relatively new and expanding part of the upstream industry. As part of the transaction, the Houston-based private equity firm White Deer Energy will be investing alongside KKR and management.
Will Honeybourne and Jeff Quake, First Reserve Managing Directors, said “We have enjoyed working with the company’s talented management in their relentless goal to build an industry leader and we are delighted with the impressive success the company has achieved. Since our initial investment in 2006, Acteon has completed eight acquisitions, quadrupled its operating profits and significantly expanded its geographic footprint. We thank the entire Acteon team and wish them every success for continued growth in the future.”
Dominic Murphy, a Member of KKR, and Josselin de Roquemaurel, a Director of KKR, said: “This is a growth investment, in partnership with a highly entrepreneurial management team. We are excited to support Acteon and work with the team to develop it as a leading global franchise for offshore and subsea energy services.”
Originally founded in 1989, Acteon is a leading service provider to the worldwide offshore oil and gas and renewable markets. With a strong global presence, the company provides specialist subsea services for life-of-field operations from exploration through to decommissioning and generates substantial revenues from deep-water applications. Headquartered in Norwich, UK, with facilities in Brazil, Singapore, UAE, Malaysia, China, UK, the US and Germany, Acteon has completed projects in most of the world's prolific offshore oil and gas basins.
The transaction is subject to customary approvals and is expected to close by year-end 2012.
J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Simmons & Company International jointly advised First Reserve Corporation and Acteon Group Ltd. HSBC Bank Plc advised KKR on the transaction.

10 minutes without a trade...
Strange days indeed, Mama...
No Press Release posted at E-Trade or Nasdaq
How can CDOC neglect something so basic? Or is there a reason they don't want the exposure? Why would they not want the PPS to fly?
Yes. News inferred from a job posting
Wouldn't be the first time. Nice find B3.
Job description seems to indicate audited financials
And specifies US compliance. A formal announcement of intent to list on an exchange, and perhaps a timetable for that should have immediate positive impact on PPS. Combined with positive sales and earnings numbers the price movement could be dramatic. IMO
Look for CDOC to soar...
Along with the other stocks you mentioned that were manipulated down.
Goal is two fold. Drop the price ahead of positive news so some can load up, and scare any weak hands into giving up shares at the low price they attempted to establish.
It was all small potatoes with CDOC...60 grand or a little more. When the news and earnings are positive on the 18th it will be meaningless. The volume will take over. If the financials are audited look out. IMO
Me too...
Those looking to add
better do it soon.
Profit was created by aggressive cost containment.
Assuming similar frugality continues, it will be supplemented substantially this time around by increased revenues.
Stock price should benefit in a bigg way.
A little movement ahead of next week...
Should start to drift upwards. Most feel earnings will be good. An announcement of audited financials and a move off the pinks could be huge.
I agree.
Thanks for your great DD in the past.
Just checking.
I'm thinking this little decline is a result of no news after the restructuring of debt. No big deal going forward. Do you agree?
nupapa
Are you still here?
Thanks Multivalue
