You have been here 3 years ROLL. When you have been here 10 years you will have the right to talk about patience with this stock.
BAM!!!!!!
I guess it couldn't hurt, right? What's wrong with promoting yourself. Then you wonder why you run out of investors and money. Quite the mystery.
Agree with you totally Clowns. That is my point. Yet ROLL keeps saying pps is low because of selling. Then it is because of news suppression. Then it is the SPY. Then it is the tooth fairy.
So this is not important then? Why even bother applying for a patent then.
Agree with you on that point ROLL.
Waste of time ROLL. McNally will want to enact change but Medtronic will suppress that too. Right?
Perhaps I should contact the head of marketing for Titan. Oh wait..... he left.
You keep saying volume is low. It will explode on big news and will not come down.
Look at the premarket volume on great news this morning that Frankestin had to share, not Titan. Zero!
Again, you cannot have it both ways. A great press release here could bump up share price.
No sense in arguing with you ROLL. Pointless. Funny you mention the tooth fairy as it could be the tooth fairy since Titan let their marketing guy go to Medtronic.
Yes, we know they have to draft the PR, send it to legal. No kidding.
We are talking about HAPTIC FEEDBACK.
Again, you miss the point.
This is an incredible patent. Period. This information needs to be disseminated to the public. It is important news.
Didn't McNally just announce they had their first meeting with the new BOD and mentioned compensation for new board members and a NEW plan for comprehensive marketing for potential new investors. Guess that was important enough to be discussed but not this patent.
News can raise or lower a stock's price. Basic economics. You cannot have it both ways. You keep saying the pps is where it is because people are selling the stock. Now you are saying Medtronic is deliberately suppressing news which obviously affects share price.
Distributing your press release locally or to most states will cost $350. Targeting your top markets or regionally will bring the price up to $575, and sending your press release nationally will cost around $805.27 jul. 2020
Okay ROLL. Guess they saved a few grand.
You are really going to argue this point? We are talking about haptic feedback? We all know how significant this patent is. And a great press release explaining to potential shareholders how important this patent is should generate interest and could potentially raise the pps, perhaps up to a dollar.
Titan knew this patent was coming. It was not a surprise. So you are telling us Medtronic is going to NOT allow Titan to do a press release on this patent that could potentially pps on purpose and keep it under a dollar? This Titan's patent, not Medtronic's.
Oh, I forgot. The pps is below a dollar because we are all selling shares.
My mistake.
Haptic feedback. Love it. A great patent. Thank you Frankestin. Do you work for Titan's marketing department? Because this is a great patent and very good news for the company. I am sure there is going to be a press release by Titan today as there should be because this is news people really need to understand. Haptic feedback with robotic surgery is very significant. Anyone want to bet whether there will be a press release on it?
One of the more eloquent and more meaningful posts on this site in a very long time. Thank you for your words. It really puts things in perspective.
I totally agree that Titan does not want a runaway train. At a $5 pps, most of us would be quite content just sitting and holding waiting for the big payday. When another poster mentioned product completion could hopefully be the milestone. No way this is a possibility. PPS would skyrocket and MDT, if they were to buy us(there is no proof of this.) they would find themselves in a pickle trying to do so.
I realize TITAN did mention and was transparent with shareholders over the first milestone so I suspect they will inform us when the next milestone is achieved and what it was. The announcement will tell us a lot more of what is going on and the direction we are headed.
Here we wait.
And some sold because they thought there was a reverse split and then bought back their position cheaper. Nice try ROLL.
McNally is pretty predictable. Hiring up in North Carolina. Working on milestones. Weekly meetings. A lot on his plate. Think the last thing he is going to do is surprise us with a buyout. Just hired a new CFO. Getting her acclimated. Etc., etc. I believe his main focus is reaching the next milestone. Plenty of time for manipulation of this stock.
Hilarious!!! 10 minutes after I mention someone will take profits and BAM someone does. Cannot make it up! Trust nobody here on this site including me.
Product completion makes zero sense as a milestone completion. Why would the board introduce a reverse split possibility and then announce to its shareholders the second milestone was a product completion? That would go over really well. Apparently, titan has a fiduciary responsibility to look after its shareholders though I have not seen it yet.
"We were just joking about the whole reverse split thing. Sorry. We knew completion of ENOS will skyrocket the stock. Oops!"
Secondly, the agreement has so many redactions, it is ridiculous. Why redact the agreement, announce a possible reverse split and then announce ENOS is complete? And as you say, the pps shoots to $30. What if the buyout was $20 per share? Then what?
"Sorry shareholders. You were holding your shares at $30 but we sold the company for $20 per share. Oops!"
I have two concerns:
1. Does Titan have an obligation to shareholders to state what the milestone is if and when they reach it? Can they withhold this information form investors? Telling shareholders WHAT the milestone tells us a ton of information.
2. People have been playing with this stock for years. I have bought and sold to average down. And if others say they have NOT they are lying. It would not surprise me one bit of a sale of 100,000 shares for profit taking. I know. I have heard multiple times. That is why the pps is where it is. No it is not. Lack of transparency is where we are now. Will continue to hold even if this happens.
No sense speculating because there would be no basis in fact. We are in the dark and we will learn more when Titan feels it is time.
Totally disagree. Let us say you are correct. They announce that they have completed development of ENOS single port robot and that that was a milestone. Everyone and their dog is going to say "What?" Completing ENOS is a milestone? Wonder what the other milestones are? I know FDA approval. You don't think pps is going to skyrocket on the news? PPS shoots to $30 per share. Medtronic does not want this to happen. Remember ROLL's analogy to the MZOR deal. PPS shot up too much and it could have affected the buyout price. The difficulty I have is will Titan have to disclose to its shareholders what the milestone was or can they withhold this information from shareholders?
The point is they are indeed working on milestones both for ENOS as well as for MDT. You are correct. The website has not been updated to date but McNally mentioned they are in the process of updating it.
Pharm If you look at ROLL'S post earlier today, it showed the early milestones from 2019. Titan has revised their end effectors and have been testing them. They have also rebranded to ENOS, achieved their new trademark and are working on their website so they continue to work on their milestones as well as working on the milestones in the agreement with MDT.
Thank you for the post ROLL. Reviewed the milestones in the attachment you included. Realized that they are already working on milestone 9. McNally eluded to testing of improvements to the instruments and accessories when he mentioned testing a new design to the end effectors. Milestone 10 is also underway as well. New branding. New trademark. They mentioned that they would be working on their website as well.
With all of the frustration of the reverse split and the delays and the lack of transparency, you lose sight that Titan is progressing as written on paper. They are following their game plan.
Hard to take a breath, understand this fact and try to be patient.
I think McNally understands that he is under the gun. I think an announcement of the milestone compounded by transparency with regards to the timeline to FDA. Lay it ALL on the table. If everyone knows it will be within a year's time, pps will climb. Most of the time Medtronic buys companies out(if they are going to buy Titan) after FDA approval. Another poster here has proven this is NOT always the case. I then think the fear of missing out on a buyout prevents people from shorting the stock. I believe the stock will then remain over a dollar and will steadily climb as the timeline shortens to FDA. If the milestone does not pump the stock up, announcing who bought the $18 million raise if it is a big player will do the job. Just my stupid theory with no basis in fact.
This the type of crap that drives me nuts and why McNally has a 51 percent approval rating. Wasn't there a design freeze announced last year? Weren't we ready to go to FDA last year? Now what are we developing? Don't use these words "development stage company". Use single port robotic company.
And you mention the word "compensation?" Seriously? Shareholders just voted and made it abundantly clear that they were not happy. There is zero disclosure on where we are with ENOS but you decide to inform shareholders that you have been talking about compensation to make sure you are getting paid appropriately?
Finally, you think NOW is the time to develop a "comprehensive investor communications strategy." You don't think shareholders are angry over your lack of disclosure. Have you been living under a rock?
There are so many things wrong with these two sentences.
Let me help you write your press releases.
"We are very pleased after our first board meeting and are very excited about the future of the company. We feel we have not acted in good faith with our shareholders and have determined that more disclosure is needed in order to give our investors a better understanding of the progress being made."
I hate to say it SPORT19 but you are making more sense than the assumptions or theories or whatever the hell you want to call them. Really? A new hybrid robot? The release of the photo of the HUGO is just an old photo? It is just a trick to fool the public and then they are going to tell everyone that the real robot is ENOS?
I do not agree with the insider buying scenario. There may be a restriction for McNally to buy shares. As far as his popularity, his 51 percent vote better tell him to sh$t! or get off the pot or he will be selling pencils next year on the side of the road.
Will continue to hold but getting pretty tired of all these far fetched theories with zero basis in fact.
I think Medtronic and Titan combine both of their robots. It will take another four years to build and get through FDA.
They will call it.....
The HUG(e) ENOS!!!
I think there is a significant cost advantage with single port ENOS over a hybrid platform. The single port platform has a smaller footprint and is more advantageous in a surgery center setting.
livendi DaVinci and Hugo will be used for different applications. There is a need for multi armed robots for surgeries like nephrectomies, cholecystectomies, inguinal hernia repairs, etc. I think initially Titan wants to just get in the market and focus on URO/GYN procedures until things start rolling. I suspect they will broaden their spectrum to include other surgical procedures. When McNally mentioned natural orifice procedures. I feel he felt it would be an easy transition for these type of procedures. Think he is trying to keep it simple so as to run into as few roadblocks as possible getting it to market. Just my opinion only.
You hit the nail on the head.
Thank you for that clarification.
Agreed.
So Geoff isn't talking about robotic surgery. It will be Matt Perry and Megan Rosengarten.
Thanks for the post on the agenda.
The number of arms in a robot is irrelevant. By definition, both are soft tissue robots.
Then dumb it down for me. Show me any link or physical proof that Medtronic is buying Titan. Perhaps I did not give you enough time. I can check in at the end of the day and see what you have found. I have found nothing to date that would indicate Medtronic is buying Titan. We have an agreement for Titan to help Medtronic in return for badly needed funding as Titan was going bankrupt.
Would love to see a link proving this fact.
Otherwise, it is just a guess, a theory, an assumption, etc.
Again, I am long Titan and hopeful for a buyout. But to say with 100 percent certainty that the buyout will happen is absurd.
Well. Went to friends for some drinks and come back to this response. Strong work timteo. Zero documentation presented. Zero fact. All presumption and theories. Glad I didn't wait around for this valuable information. Thanks for all the factual information on what is going to happen with Titan.
What part of my post isn't true? ISRG stock price now? ISRG stock price 6 months ago? After hours stock price for TMDI.
Why hasn't Medtronic bought us knowing what their potential revenue with our technology could be? Don't they want to compete?
Why wouldn't ISRG want to buy us?
Is Titan being greedy on buyout price since it almost ran out of money and
just tried to get a reverse split? Seriously? TMDI is not in a position of power.
Where is the documentation that Medtronic is buying Titan. I will watch for your posted evidence.
The best you can do is an insult. Strong work.
Again, will watch for your reply and ANY documentation whatsoever on the buyout proof?
I am all ears expert.
Interesting that ISRG went $500 per share to $750 per share in six months. And yet there is no buyout for TMDI and Medtronic has not pulled the trigger. And the stock is down after hours. Is Titan that greedy on the buyout number or is Medtronic just not interested? You cannot make it up. And ISRG is not interested in us either? A buyout from ISRG and they dominate for another 20 years. But that buyout is coming because it is written....never mind. No proof, no documentation, not one shred of evidence. Nada. Zilch.
Randall told me the entity buying the $18 million is to disclose this information and not Titan. Again, he said Medtronic did not buy the raise as well.
EXACTLY!!!
Great post Clowns. And if you think this way, Titan management better have the same thought process.
Will reaching the milestone pump share price? Yes. Will people take profits? Yes. Some people bought in at 59 cents. Will it reach $1 for 10 days? Who knows.
Next milestone is in six months. Will Titan ask for an extension for NASDAQ compliance? Absolutely. Will second milestone pump share price over $1? Who knows. If it does, will people take profits? Absolutely.
Who bought the $18 million in shares? Who knows? If it is Medtronic, look out!!! We will know by February. If not Medtronic, then what? Remember, Titan knows who bought the $18 million in shares and know the result of the pps with this news.
So why ask for a reverse split knowing Medtronic bought the $18 million in shares? You know the pps will explode when this news comes out. You do it as a ploy???
Nobody knows the answers but again, if you are asking these questions Titan better be asking these questions. Titan better have a clear plan to ensure they remain on the NASDAQ as the new CFO eluded how important this continued listing is.
Thank you Bongo. Took the words right out of my mouth.
Just tired of ALL the predictions that do not pan out.
Titan has to be tight lipped about the agreement but it is okay for Medtronic to verbalize October 14th. Doubt Titan is mentioned.
