I hope they speak just so I can fill my gas tank.
Good post. There's enough DD right there to invest a little.
I would prefer not to see it. It's the fastest way to $5 though.
What Thompson could do is get this up over 50 cents and do a 1 for 10 reverse. I'd rather see it just blast up to 5 bucks and retain my huge stock holdings, but getting on a big exchange would do wonders for this, or any, pinky. I'm sure that we'd still have 1.25M shares outstanding that aren't held by "insiders", as it were. Question then is do we meet the round lot requirements. I doubt we're even close to 2200 shareholders, and we're along ways from 1.1M daily volume, though that average could get cranked up pretty quick.
$5 bid. We're a ways from that.
Don't you have to sell for $1 per share for 3 continuous months to be eligible to be listed on the NASDAQ? I know NASDAQ will de-list if a stock sells for less than a dollar for a certain period of time. I fell into a stock a couple years ago that was selling in the .90s and was threatened to be de-listed, and I got lucky landing in it just as the company started a stock buy back program to support the price and avoid de-listing.
If you're right, we're all happy.
There's the wide spread again, 653 to 69. We'll probably see about 3/4 million today if it tightens up again. Otherwise, it get's slow again.
Come on Thompson. Let's hear it.
You know, he's got to be chompin' at the bit also. Man , he's a cool head.
Three or four traders really made a splash this morning, but then the spread got wide, 651 to 683. In the last half hour, the spread has closed, 680 to 683. We're probably going to get somemore trades here pretty quick.
I promise to not put you on ignore. Your priceless DD on KBLB, and your willingness to share it and "soothe" my concerns strengthens my resolve. LOL!!!
Thompson's just out there "soothing" anybody that will take the time to give him a call. You are totally losing it. Generically, you made some good points early on, now your just begging for attention. Here's some attention for you mojo. LOL!!!!!
An effort on the company's part to "soothe" investors!! That one is just killing me. The company, through the IR dept., has come right out and said this investment may not be for everyone. That's "soothing"? If any investor has been "soothed" by their discussion with Thompson or IR, they've come to that "soothed" state on their own. Doesn't sound like the company has made any effort to "soothe" at all.
"Soothe". You're all killing me.
Perhaps somebody could define the term....."Look at me. I need attention. I have nothing to say, but I got some people riled up and they give me the attention I need and crave. When I quit getting it here, I'll go somewhere else to get it." Let's define that.
Well, go ahead and call him then, and get "soothed". Thompson's more than willing to do it. LOL.
It's not a good point. Thompson has been very careful with his words when talking to Manshoon (and I'm guessing equally as careful when talking with other investors as well) and hasn't said anything to Manshoon, at least as Manshoon has reported it, worthy of a press release. No reason at all for Thompson to come out and make a big deal of the things he's said to the investors that he has talked to on this board. Not even close to newsworthy. Just polite discussion as far as I can see. Not even an effort on Thompson's part to soothe Manshoon, just a polite CEO answering questions of an investor instead of being rude and just telling him "no comment" at this time.
Please refer to anything that any poster has reported on this board from a discussion with Thompson that you feel should have come out in a press release. Get serious.
I'm welcome? Are you transferring those shares to my account?
Just funnin'. It's always nice to see the ask slapped.
And the bid stays put. This sucker will run as soon as Thompson burps.
And just as you post this, the .065s give up and the bid moves to .068. I can't sit hear and watch this minute to minute action any longer today, but like I said earlier, it's interesting when you take a step back. You blow out a half a million shares at the end of the day yesterday, and 2 trading hours later, the bid is 4% higher.
Don't know if it's Thompson or not, but just as importantly to me, there are buyers.
That a way Red. Keep your eye on the ball.
You and me are rowing the same boat in the same direction.
A penny. There are no guarantees in life.
If he doesn't put deadlines in his contracts, he's wasted all his years of training. It's an assumption on my part, but I have to believe he'll be telling whom ever to s^@t or get off the pot.
The ask is set at just short of .07. There are sellers, but nobody is willing to give it away. I have plenty of skin in this game, but when I step back and look at it from an impartial distance, it's all very interesting.
If I remember correctly, it was hinted to Manshoon in one of his conversations with the company, on Jan 20th, again, if I remember correctly, that Thompson would make a statement in 60-90 days. It would be reasonable to hold Thompson to that timeline, even though he never made that statement public. But if it's not true, he shouldn't have made it privately either.
In a year we'll be selling to those same thieves.
What rhetoric are you hearing? Anything would be interesting right now?
I'm afraid if we see any volume today, it's going to tilt towards selling pressure. This will test alot of people's guts. The next 3 weeks are going to separate the metal from the muck.
Are you in, or are you out?
500,000 shares sold at the end of the day and that volume didn't blow a hole through the bids, so obviously, there are buyers that will pick up abundant shares at the right price. That's over 30 grand right there.
Your understanding is correct, and the usual explanation a company in our position would give for abundant authorized shares would be as a weapon against a hostile takeover.
I wouldn't use the word irresponsible, but it is the one thing I would love openly explained, though I'm sure there is some super-IQ driven reason for it. It bothers me infinitely more than the communications issues, which I feel have been explained satisfactorily ad nauseum.
Without bashing the stock, which I'm not in any way, I love this investment, the a/s has always been the one issue that has negatively caught my attention. There is no arguing it, 10,000,000,000 is a big number.
I was just thinking out loud gang, and spiderpillar made a great response. Don't want anybody thinking that I would be so obnoxious as to think I have the answers for anything, nor that I have any input that I would even remotely suggest to the company. I was just throwing something out there.
If you've read my posts, you'd realize I'm sitting as cozy and chill as anybody could.
Like I said, I could be all wrong.
I hate that a/s. It's just huge.
You know folks, I was thinking about this thing alot last night (dangerous for me, I know) as I'm sure alot of you do, after that great discussion yesterday, and a couple things came to mind. I could be all wrong, but let me throw it out there.
Is there any way the board of advisors could mutate into a board of directors? If that were to happen, I would think that the shares held in a/s would start flying. I trust Thompson with this investment, but the one caveat I've had since investing is that huge a/s. I hate it, and it's there for a reason. All those pps scenarios we played with yesterday were based on present o/s. Folks, that number will change, and it could be dramatic. This stock could be under a buck for A LONG TIME, and there are some people that would still be able to make HUGE money if they played it right. I've said before that I wish Thompson would just take 5 billion of them and throw them in the old campfire, but he hasn't, and he's got to be thinking he'll need them for something. It could be for protection down the road, or it could be for future rewards.
Who wants to do the math if , say, there was an o/s of 3 billion in Dec 2012? Look at that scenario, because we may have to face it.
Why didn't I see that? I was going to suggest 25%.
Profits wouldn't be all KBLB's if they partner, which they will have to.
You mean market share?
Maybe your first example is where Noel got his $2.50
I have made this statement numerous times, but I don't have any expectations of seeing anything like that for YEARS!! 2015 if everything went PERFECT, but not even being that optimistic.
A bit interesting!!! Any health care uses they can apply should be nothing but money. We are really looking down the road for those applications however, and the ultimate costs in developement will lead us in to god knows where territory as far as corporate relationships go. But, indeed, the ramifications to health care and society are very exciting.
