You didn't know that Big Lots stays in business by buying things people don't want? I'm surprised the stores are still a float.......lol
It DIDNT!! The two sells at .0002 were worth a staggering combined total of.................$25.80 lol
Really? 1.8 million were sold at 2. Whered the other ones come from them? A lot of 3's were bought today and for that reason we had 4's hit.
FL, GA, LA, and NC
The link didn't work. I think we have to be your friend to view it. What state are you located in?
They had it at the locations in St. Pete, so I'm sure they'll have it in Clearwater as well.
Your right, especially with those $.80 sells lol.
Great Idea! Here is the link to my photos again:

It was a great move to get rid of old product that had an aesthetic problem. Companies do it all the time. Its not failed product.
It'd would be interesting to see what other states Big Lots are carrying it. We have two confirmed different states: North Carolina and Florida. Anyone else near a Big Lots in their state?
All you can do is shake your head and laugh at the ignorance. What does HFBG have to confirm? They already did. They said they sold the tea from the first run to a company who sells it to second hand stores. Done deal.
Case closed.
I was just happy to see them in my local big lots in St. Petersburg. Im going to call the other locations and ask them as well. I'm assuming they all got some as well, which is GREAT for exposure.
This is my last post for the day well at least for another hour and a half lol, but what is the code on your bottles? Its by the cap it starts with 102. The glue on mine was everywhere.
The Sugar Free had 10236-1 and Sugar 10231-1.
Picture of old draft date included:

1990 #1 Overall Draft Pick, 2 time NBA all star. The glue though where the two labels connect is messed up which, again was the issue with the old bottles new labels.
The tea was $.50 each.
One of the bottles I have the code is 10236-1. Clearly from the old run.
Do you know where the code is on the bottle? Im looking for it right now.
Thank you. Like I stated before, the old bottles had glue problems. I haven't gotten a hold of a new one yet, but can a test that these have the glue problem.
Really, not public information?? You ask anyone that ACTUALLY TRIED the old tea and they can verify that as well. Try the ones from the sports store, I guarantee the labels are not gluey on the back where the label comes together.
So, not its not EPIC FAIL. Its called verified truth of things getting done as stated in the PR. Nice try though ;)
They are the old bottles with the new labels. The glue on them is messed up. Anyone that tried it before knows that that was the main problem, hence them being the old ones.
Hopefully this works:

There was actually a nice dent of tea missing that I could tell. I definitely did some work myself lol. Working on loading these pictures now.
I'm here at my local big lots(st. Pete Florida) and found some here as well. You know what I did? Bought 40 bottles worth lol.
Gl pictures coming up soon as I am still checking out.
What I think is phenomenal to see is that they PR'ed something and it happened. Didn't she say that a second hand retailer bought all the old product? Well now we have proof that it did happen.
Good work and gl
How are these the new bottles since you seem to know everything???? I would say with the price, they're NOT the new ones.
Oh and the CEO of UPS used to be a driver.. FYI
Actually, I have thank you. I'm not talking about overseeing the extremes. The point I was making is this. Someones background doesn't have to be Harvard to do stellar work.
Who cares what JAG's background was. Can anyone tell me how the CEO of UPS became CEO??? Trust me it was Harvard business school. Point being, backgrounds don't always mean everything. Let her do her thing.
DTC issue is minor? I believe once this whole thing arouse everyone was complaining that this needs to get resolved and that everything else prior to can wait. Look at the board a few weeks ago and see what the stance of the DTC issue was. It's taking longer than expected so now everyone is complaining that they want tea news. I would rather have DTC AND Tea news all in one. Would make a huge impact for us. Just saying.
IMO
Etrade works great by me ;) lol
Let me ask you this; would you want a PR saying a location is now buying tea and the PPS only guys up a little due to other brokerage houses not being able to buy or a MONSTER PR saying the DTC issue has been settled and here are some of the locations?
Seems pretty simple to me
We wont get another PR until the DTC issue is resolved. It would be stupid to put out a big PR, but not everyone can buy in.
Interesting thought. I think that having at least 4 brokerage houses not letting you by a stock could really hinder its performance. Just my opinion though.
Would love to see an afternoon PR saying DTC issue has been fixed :).
The dtc issue is being worked on, so to say it's not is just not true.
Its not PR news just an update on the DTC status.
If everything moved to plan, how quickly could this be done?
I think everyone is forgetting this is just an "Appeteaser" of where the tea is going. I don't think all those pallets of tea are going to these locations, do you? To be honest, I think she just gave us this one location so people would stop emailing saying wheres an update. Things are looking good. That seller at 5 this morning actually did a good thing and I thank them for that ;).
GL Everyone

GOODYEAR, AZ, Sep 01, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Hall of Fame Beverages, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HFBG) -- Former NBA star and Hall of Fame Beverages owner Larry Johnson should feel right at home with the company's newest partner. Grand Ma Ma Sweet Southern Tea is now on the shelves at Schuylkill Valley Sports. The sporting goods chain serves Central and Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey and will carry Larry Johnson's signature brand tea in all 20 of its locations.
Hall of Fame Beverages CEO Jessica Gutierrez said, "This partnership is going to be so exciting for our company because this sporting goods franchise is a household name all over Eastern Pennsylvania and our tea will do very well there. We have been very hard at work obtaining shelf space, and this is the first of many location announcements to come."
In addition to the 20 store locations, Schuylkill Valley Sports has the company's Grand Ma Ma Sweet Southern Tea for sale on its website www.svsports.com. The tea will also be sold at the company's kiosks located in malls throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.
Schuylkill Valley Sports and Red Robin restaurants will be cross promoting the tea at upcoming events. The first of many events will be at the Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group's grand opening of their 19th Red Robin restaurant on October 1, 2011 in Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
Larry Johnson, who famously played the role of Grand Ma Ma in a Converse Shoes ad campaign while playing 10 seasons in the NBA, says, "I am grateful for this partnership with a company that has been in business for 30 years, and we're excited to start rolling out our other locations one by one and start selling some delicious sweet tea."
