Congrats muell.
A company called Garrnett is popping up lately. Anyone heard of them? Think they are in Security devices.
Also- the airforce is having some problems with meeting strategic airlift requirements. With the big defense budget- could be a sector to look at. Any thoughts on what company to invest in when it comes to C-5 and C-17 airplanes?
Robotics- Another sector I think may take off the next year or so.
I'm looking around by not in a rush to get into anything.

Alright people, I'm back from a business trip, so JXM- hope I can give you some competition, LOL.
Stopped out on LCAV at $1.50.
Bought it a while back at .72, so the next guy can make a little off it, LOL.
If only they would all work that way :)
OK, a couple more thoughts before I get some sleep.
CMGI, MOT, LVLT, CSCO, IMCL as possible buys.
In my travels this past week, a company called Garrnett popped up a few times- Not sure if its public or not, but would be one to check out in the homeland defense security issues.
Got to lay down for a while- work starts in 5 hours.
Take care- Tim
You are a funny man, LOL.
Thanks for the smile
Joe- been in Atlanta on business. Thanks for noticing. Will take a few days to catch up, but appreciate all the good cooperative endeavors while I was out.
Pitch- sorry, should look at least one post higher, LOL
Rouster- try here

Vich- good to see you are well. Understand the shyness thing. If you still look in on the yahoo baord, twobaggers is there.
I'll post your message on the board for you, in case you deviated from the club, LOL.
Take care- Tim
Hey KP, Yep- pulling my hair out on ERTH and WCOM, LOL. But, LCAV is holding me up.
As stated, been out of the net. Enjoyed my stay in Atlanta though.
Take care- Tim
Hello all,
Just got home from a 9 day trip down south.
What I've read- heard. Robotics is the next wave. Need to find a company to invest in. Also- strategic air lift will be a big demand in the near future- so may want to look into to what the airforce is projecting on new contracts. Wind power had a good article in the USA today paper on 7 Feb.
Cable companies are still being beat up. Also telcoms.
Rouster, On CPN- out of favor from what I have heard. But, you know how the talking heads will lead you astray. I will look a little closer when I get caught up on the work load.
Good to be home, and hope I can at least get threw the BTS message board tonight, LOL

He said market conditions "remain too uncertain to provide detailed revenue expectations" but said the company anticipates "that our overall revenues will be significantly lower than the first half of 2001 due to expected continued weakness in the networking space." Due to the weakness, Applied Micro said it was taking immediate steps to cut costs, including the elimination of about 90 full-time jobs, or 40 percent of its work force, a temporary 10 percent reduction in executive salaries and the closure of facilities for one week during the third quarter. The company said it plans to take a third-quarter charge of $1.5 million to $2 million for the restructuring.

Here is one I'm putting on the watch list (ISSC). Looking for volume to tell the story of where this is headed. With the 5.4mil contract (about 70% of last qtr revenues), I expect this one to go back to over $7 quick after a little more downside. The institutions are buying, a director bought @ $7.50, so you know this is a keeper. Just a matter of finding that entry price, LOL.
ISSC

Going south to Atlanta on business.

Good Morning- Thanks for creating the other board. Having fun with the WAG game <g>
Stock Chat-
Had a few stocks mentioned. The biggest conversation revolved around FATS. Considered OK as far as OTCBB's are concerned. Financials are not to bad, ground floor of the biz, and might be a good sleeper stock to look into.
T/A scan stocks - XOMA, CRXA, and EDEN
Broker mentioned stocks- XLNX, TXN, MSCC
I mentioned IN as a possible play next week- based strictly on the chart.
Some of the older group had a good laugh on DMEC- The stock that created BTS.
Fundamental play- WIN. Had a good quarter, in a "safe" sector, expect modest gains throughout the year.
BNBN was mentioned- seems to be turning around.
I will be out of the net next week (I'll be in Atlanta)- so hope you can all make some money on these til I get back, LOL.
Rouster thanks for stopping by. BTW- HOFF hit a T/A scan today. Still watching it?

Thanks KP- Not buying myself- just sharing a little knowledge from the Mag.
One BTS'er mention WIN (Winn-Dixie)a while back as a good one to buy into.
Looking to add to WCOM if I can get the piggy bank open, LOL
Seems like volume is way down today on the stocks I am tracking- anyone else notice this?
Reading Money magazine this past week. Mentioned Kogers, Safeway, and Albertsons as good investment stocks.
Also says to get your credit cards from companies in Arkansas for lowest interest rates. I'm at work now- will try to post more of interest tonight.
Getting prepared for some bad weather later today- 5-7 inches of snow, followed by up to 1/2" of ice. Firewood may be cheap here this year, also.
Optimistic crowd, LOL
Well, muell, Bob and the rest in that area, stay out of trouble. Good to know you are OK. Guess the state will be cleaning up tomorrow.
Good luck.
Rick- expecting some serious weather next couple of days here in North NY.
Muell- How you surviving the weather? Wifey says the area is having a snow day.
Was out of the net most of the day, and looks like tomorrow will be more of the same.
What a difference a day makes, eh? Could have bought WCOM $2.50 cheaper. Still feel comfortable with my entry though.
Hope all is well in your part of the world- Tim.
