Care to share what the Other forces are? Just curious
Also, what does "phasing out" FNMA & FMCC mean? details . . .
Once again DT: you are being rational - clear thinking. That doesn't occur in Washington, D.C. (keep that in mind)
Speak for yourself Pal - I've been holding and I'm up many $$$.
The longer you wait to buy in, the less money you'll make. Don't wait too long to enter the race.
Just my opinion.
I can't speculate on how long but the 2 catalysts are:
1. Releasing from conservatorship; and
2. Uplisting to the NYSE
That will do it.
Good for you. I'm working OT today, sipping a diet coke (have NEVER touched (or drunk) coffee or cafe)
I see the HOD (so far) is $8.00; probably the MMs pushing that up. Will be very interesting to see what happens after closing. However, I do smell a rat here. Somebody MUST know something we don't know. Stock that jump up like this before earnings usually mean . . . well, you get my drift.
Hey Detearing: Have you/Do you read Nietzche?
thank t
the dude abides.
I've said it once and I'll say it again (many times): All, I repeat, ALL politicians are liars, cheats and thieves. They only want to get re-elected and gather power.
I'm not an alarmist - just been around long enough (and read many, many books about this) to know this is a fact. Once I finally accepted it, a big load was lifted from my thinking.
Two reasons why it is a waste of time to contact Corker:
1. If you are NOT in Tennessee, he could care less to hear from you
2. If you ARE in Tennessee, he could care less to hear from you.
Wake up everybody: politicians don't give a hoot or holler what you/we think.
I could make a ton of predictions but it wouldn't mean a thing. Predictions mean nothing. If you don't have the cujones for stock trading, then do something else.
Agree. That's what I'm really waiting for - to get over $4.00-$5.00, then go on to the NY Stock Exchange and then the big boys get in. We can all feel it brewing.
I'm long and strong.
I'm thinking that tomorrow I just might go to my local wine store and pick up a bottle of Dom Perignon - it's on sale for $140 - sounds like a bargain to me.
Detearing: What is the PPS you have projected which would trigger the Wynne party? Was it $10 or higher?
Does anyone remember what day last June that it started tanking? And does anyone remember what time of day that was? I remember my jaw dropping watching the PPS go down so fast.
I'm just trying to be cautious here and avoid a major dip this time.
Just called Schwab. I can't do that strategy. If I sell Facebook today I have to wait 3 days before buying another stock (unless I want to incur a violation - which I do NOT want to do).
Oh well - go FNMA!
I'm thinking about selling all my Facebook shares and putting it ALL in FNMA today. My only reservation is my account is a retirement account and I couldn't resell it today if FNMA dumps by end of day.
Correct: BUT we do not want a deja vu of June
Well, I don't know you but from what I know your friend just committed an illegal act (called insider trading). I'd be careful of what your friend says.
If I'm wrong, I'm sorry.
I posted a few days back: "FNMA is not for the faint of heart."
Today proves it.
Long & Strong!!
Speaking of questions: here's one.
If the preferreds will hold their value and the commons may NOT hold their value in any upcoming deal, they why don't we ALL sell our commons RIGHT NOW (at a profit I presume) and buy Preferreds?
Once this hits $5.47, I'm canceling all my Porter Stanberry newsletters and enrolling in the higher level of IHUB so I can post for than 15 posts a day.
I can't PM DT, but I DO qualify for the Wynn event. I'm long and strong.
Don't forget Zargis and Jedediah in there.
This appears to be the same pattern as yesterday. An early spike up and then it just kinda sits there vacillating back and forth around the HOD. BUT, I'm not complaining, just observing.
For those of us unable to watch, how about some updates every 5 minutes or so? That is, if he says anything worthwhile.
Thanks in advance.
One poster a couple of weeks ago kept suggesting that $2.68 was a crucial price. forgot why though
I don't believe my day would be a success without seeing Risky Chick use the "G" word.
Sorry Zargis: My bad. I thought that the other day you were agreeing with RiskyChick that this stock was NOT news-driven. And you have regularly posted terrific items about charting, charts, etc. Bad assumption on my part.
Do forgive.
HEY! You can't say that! That's RiskyChick's line. :)
Risky & Zargis: Sorry to keep repeating myself. But are you STILL saying this is NOT a news-driven stock?
Could it be for the same reason I posted the other day - that this is a news-driven stock, not a chart or technical stock.
JMO
I understand the logic of you chart-people but I tend to agree with MonestHind (rarely) that this is a news-driven stock, not a chart-driven stock.
Buy my qualifier is: I don't know nothin' about any stinkin charts :)
Denise: I trade with SChwab and I CAN put in an order that high. My question to the poster was just: why put in a limit order now? If the stock price goes to $100 - then sell it then if that's what you want to do.
How will that protect you?
OK - but all those trades (whether secret, hidden or not)at some point will be public - aren't all trades transparent and records kept? If so, we'll find out who traded what when the servers are back up. Correct?
Again: how can they cover their shorts if the otc is DOWN?
Zargis: I KNEW you were a techie - it's written all over your posts. No slight to you - I read all your posts voraciously.
If the OTC is down - literally - I still don't see how anyone can rig it and buy "secret" shares or whatever. If it's down, it's down.
But, I'm NOT a techie - so I don't know about these things.
