Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for sharing. Also, I share your perspective as it relates to talking about the things that have happened in other companies. It sometimes means you lose value of your position or the whole amount. Each of these has happened to me over the years of my investing in pennies. I am still evaluating NTEK. And, looking for a smart entry price.
How do you know this?
Ok. I'll bite. How does L2 really work?
Fast food about the same to me. If I'm in a town for the first time, I don't think about how much better Wendy's tastes. I think about if I trust the people serving me. Easier where you live to go to the same place. If the food is not good, you are likely to tell them it wasn't all that good last time. 95% of the time, they will try to improve.
Good points. This has been true for me for over a decade with two kids. The answer, until recently, would always be McDonalds when asked where they want to eat.
Good brand. I tried breakfast at a restaurant in Louisville, KY. I liked it, but haven't seen it in other places. They could take their fair share of customers from competition if they wanted. Not yet long WEN. Planned in the future.
I'm sorry but my reading of the PR us that it says very little. I would expect them to give a date. 2014 will be a year like any other with days, weeks, months, and quarters. If they gave me a few million shares, I could give them a date to put in their PR since they are in need of one.
Most pinkies that do what you described end up having SEC revoke their registration:

Are you sure this company has no plan to provide audited financials as well and submit required filings and/ or fees?
Banksters, conspiracy theories, and the Holy Grail all in one post. Would it not be a better conspiracy theory for Banksters to seek privatization of FnF and run the Monopoly board on mortgages without the GOV guarantee.
Debtor-in-Possession (DIP) financing aka we may be in BK, but we have lots of Moola. Bring on those bonus checks during the holidays.
Great observations. This story of serendipity is true for Penicillin and Polio vaccines too. The Wikipedia for these two in the sections titled History or Development sheds light on the scientific method of discovery aka Trial and Error. Sometimes, actually almost every time, the error from a trial is useful in some way. No surprise finding a benefit from something it wasn't meant for. It happens often.
Thanks for info
Thanks for sharing your perspective. I wasn't able to find the list. I asked the question due to bad experiences with pennies in the past.
Are you saying this is a scam stock?
Interesting take on things. BK of US operations is a definite clue that Exide has value. Who gets that value is the only unknown in such cases. I worked for an automotive company once that did the same thing. Long and short, common shares wiped out and Private Equity firm bought company in BK. At the point that POR is made public, it will likely be too late to making an investment decision. So, the early or late bets that are right will win the pot. A common mistake is to follow the change in share price as a clue. The share price is so easily manipulated to paint the opposite picture of reality. In my book, you get an "A" for DD and gut feel. Good luck.
They don't call it Motley Fool for nothing.
Here is the Wikipedia:
The name "Motley Fool" is taken from Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It.[3][4]
3. Harold Bloom, Pamela Loos As You Like It 2007 p10 "Indeed, after meeting Touchstone, Jaques wants to change his own life, to take on the life of a motley fool himself."
4. William Shakespeare As You Like It Sparklesoup Classics 2004 p23 "DUKE SENIOR. Why, how now, monsieur! what a life is this, That your poor friends must woo your company? What, you look merrily! JAQUES. A fool, a fool! I met a fool i' th' forest, A motley fool."

GOV created FnF in such a way that GOV wins no matter what. If wind down, profit sweep of FnF will continue until GOV is ready to stop raking in cash. If spin off, GOV owns 80% of commons. If GOV combines profit sweep and spin off, this allows the GOV to play shell game with cash or be both buyer and seller of FnF. GOV legislates, passes, and upholds its own laws in its own courts.

Thanks for sharing. GSEs will likely survive. Conservatorship likely to remain unregulated control of financials as it relates to dividends, share structure, or reinvestment of profits, etc. I will watch for now.
So, what is the bet with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Are investors betting that the conservatorship will be dissolved and they will get a windfall or that they will sell to new investors on pops of the stock price?
Thanks for info. I didn't know Walgreens owned drugstore.com. Does WAG own beauty.com too? What other websites does WAG own?
You have to admit that it's an interesting find. If you follow the link, there are more interesting comments. Something like this is a gag ad or online only. Can you imagine being in line at Walgreens and seeing someone buy it? Or they say they couldn't find the item? Or you heard over the loud speaker - customer needs assistance on aisle 9; Zombie Dildos? Or can I get a rain check on Zombie Dildos, I couldn't find my size?
I just bought some shares.
I heard radio spot on LA Auto Show. Good coverage of fuel cells technology. My search for investments in fuel cell technology ended here. Looking forward to buying shares in FCEL tomorrow.
Yes. I thought it was for NTEK management.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Thanks for providing the links. Every stock even the big boards have shorts. That doesn't concern me because that is the risk-reward or placing of bets in the stock market casino. The Reg SHO bad list is a definite concern with NTEK. This represents the business practices of the company and their compliance with SEC regulations aka big freaking deal. Isn't this behavior more indicative of a shell company than a company that has real products and services as well as a real future?
Where did you get that chart? That is amazing data. I wish I have it for other stocks. Does shorted volume plus regular volume equal total volume?
Thanks for this report. This stock is on my radar.
Thanks again. This will be interesting to watch. But, does dropping Q matter a hill of beans as it relates to Equity Committee?
They discredit it by rating it 5 out of 5? Wtf = way too funny
It's 1 review, but 5 out of 5. If the rating were 3 or lower, it might be a concern. Of all of the items I've bought on Amazon, I haven't left 1 rating. Most people on this board would likely say the same. Is this a real company with real products. The answer is likely yes. Is the company worthy of your investment? I am one of the ones still trying to decide on that.
Has this ever happened before? Please provide an example.
The video I saw was of Walgreens CEO. Can you check your link and repost?
Some taking profits today. Nice opportunity for me to buy.
Long and strong.
Yes. That is the only conclusion that rationalizes sealed proceedings of a "public" hearing. Equity Committee lead is looking out for their own interests not all shareholders. Don't fall for this trickery. Write your congressmen.
Good to know. My reference is ENERQ.
