When they announced the 10billion share increase (available shares) I thought they stated the reason for it was to ensure that if (I believe there are two of them) debt holders converted their debt to shares, they had the shares available.
If you just read the main section at the top, you can tell that it is a slanted view. I find that entire section to be worthless and manipulative.
Mav,
Can't you just request to be a moderator and do it yourself?
Good point.
The best part about being deemed unreliable is that it didn't say the financials were going to get worse or better. Anything is possible, but until they post them, we'll have to wait and see. :)
imo
Still feeling like this is a possibility?
Don't you think that the price already reflects all of the concerns around the financials. Although, I like your thought of what could be wrong with them. Their could be more revenue that what was previously reported? :)
imo
Maybe, but I can tell you that I know all of my debt/loan amounts (loan balances, not counting accumulated interest) and I don't have a financial statement.
Me either, it's fear and panic.
I think they would probably know if it was going to impact the cash flow.
What's the debt balance?
Sean,
you are correct...too many people trying to hype good or bad on the 8k. I read it as simply the balance sheet isn't reliable.
IMO
I read it as the balance sheet is not reliable. Didn't the 8K state that there isn't a change to cash flow or operating loss? If so, doesn't that translate to just the balance sheet. Agree that it's not necessarily a good thing to have to restate, but what is the true impact at the end of the day? Only time will tell.
If you are correct, then I believe this might be one of the reasons why they got rid of the old auditors. Aren't they responsible for ensuring the financial statements are reliable?
Maverick,
If this generates even 10 million, that is a great sign for shareholders. Again, if the toxic debt is paid off, there is no reason for available shares to be issued.
I just hope this comes about quickly, as I've said it a couple times. If this company is worth 50 million and even if all 10 billion shares are issued and outstanding...it's still a valuation of a half of a penny, which is more than 2 tenths of a penny.
IMO.
It doesn't.
again, the question i ask is...what will the company eventually be worth? 50 million? if so and if the full 10 billion shares are outstanding...that's still a half a penny or 2.5 times the current price. I for one think and hope that once they achieve the IND approval and get some proven cases, this is worth more than 50 million. However, it's just my opinion and only time will tell if my opinion is correct or not.
possibly true, but unless they announce a different plan, some (2-3 million) of the debt will be cleared off the books as well.
In fact, BBW has posted multiple times that it's not possible without approval by the creditors. Do you think they are going to approve a reverse split? I think both shorts and longs will tell you that they would be unwise.
If you have been following the stock, the increase in available shares was necessary to ensure they had the available shares for the debt conversion. Granted if this happens, it isn't the most desirable for the longs, but I still raise the question...if the company achieves what they have stated as their plan. And all 10 billion shares are issued. Is this company worth $100 million? If the answer is yes, then it's still a penny a share. If it's worth 50 million, then it's still a half of a penny a share. I for one believe it will be worth that and then some, so I'm holding my shares for a brighter future.
Again, just my opinion.
Hope your right.
Sorry, I too believe in this company, but right now, I don't see that kind of buy back offer. Don't get me wrong, I'd be very happy to see a buy back of shares at $1.00 right now.
IMO
I don't know if you are right or wrong, but I would prefer the backing of a larger investor to remove the other investors (toxic loans) than having them go private. The share price that they could use to buy back shares would be around $.005 to $.01 right now vs. where it could be in the future.
IMO
Private Companies still have stock, they are just not publicly traded. In order for the company to go private, they would have to buy back the existing shares from those who currently hold them. It's referred as a share buy back.
I'll settle for a few million. :)
Agreed. I wasn't trying to imply that you expected the 2nd quarter to be different. I just know that when it comes out, people will do their best to make it worse than it truly is. SVFC has a foundation now, let's give it time to breath and mature.
I don't disagree, but that being said, I hope everyone understands that these things are taking place in the third quarter. Which in my opinion translates to a 2nd quarter report (when filed) that is similar to the 1st quarter. I hope I'm wrong.
IMO
You should. As long as you can hold it. I have over 25 million shares. Unfortunately, I'm down, but am comfortable that it's only temporary. Only time will tell, and I have lots of it.
Would agree 100%
IMO
If they can help with ALS, let's just say it will be a significant impact and a profitable one.
IMO.
Old news, nothing new here.
I am in your corner, if it happens in 2014, that will be great news and ahead of my expectations. I can't wait to see where the pps is sitting in a year. :)
I don't disagree with your assessment on the screaming buy, but I would be careful with the expectation of when revenue will start to flow as it relates to the IND with DR. Andrews. I am not expecting any revenue with DR. Andrews in 2014...part of the reason why our pps is at the current levels. However, if it does happen, I'll consider that a big win for SVFC.
I Hope we see a great 2nd quarter report, but realistically, they are building the potential structure with revenue to follow...I'm guessing 4th quarter or after. I can and will wait. :)
Ofcourse, this is just my opinion.
Wasn't that done when Judge Oing heard the case?
What's different about this ruling compared to the ruling months ago. I didn't see anything different.
Any idea on how long the IND takes and what the process looks like after IND is approved?
Seriously? I anticipated that this filing would be late. This shouldn't be viewed as a surprise to anyone who has been following this stock. The question is...how does this change the direction or vision of the company?
IMO, it doesn't.
unfortunately for most longs, It would be cheaper for people to buy at the current prices.
Gannicus, Are you playing the swings with any portion of your 80 million?
