...my posted article was from June, 2011 btw.
Could be a Titan "ramp-up" but they do have other clients and the Twin-cities is a mini-mecca for med device companies.

Ximedica has had an office in St. Paul for awhile.
Thanks! That was easy enough!
Thanks for the post!
Just saw it too - thanks! Wasn't aware of the planned partnership. Exciting therapy!
My understanding is that Ximedica is doing all the ground work for the European (CE Mark) and FDA approvals. I'd hope they are deep into this process and the protocol(s) for the clinical trials in the US are being written now. The FDA will need to inform Titan/Ximedica on the study design requirements so the protocols can be developed. Again, this the type of timeline information that can be shared but isn't.
Tell-tale sign he is covering his tracks. He called me a dumbass weeks ago when I challenged him on his assertion the stock would rise 5 to 20 cents a day after the spike it had. I think he deleted that one after it dropped again. lol
Dont forget, they will need to put the potential investigators through training on the machines before human trials begin as well. I'd have to assume that will take a little time depending on how many PI's / study sites they will have.
I concur! Exactly what ive been saying since Ive been on this board... Keep the stakeholders abreast of where we are in the process with periodic PR updates in between milestones.
Not sure why Posilock would bury himself in a hole but it appears to be what he is doimg. Anyone can say anything they want on a message board I guess. Just gotta weed through it. Personally the last thing I would ever do is compromise a relationship I had with someone if they confided in me. To even suggest I knew something on a public message board just to save face would be pretty lame. The credibility of the entire board is a huge question mark!
Depends... They could simply be recruiting Principle Investigator(s) to conduct human trials.
Thanks for laughs tonight fellas!
Seems to me there is a little bit of a buzz going on in the Northeast. At least it keeps things interesting.
What earth-shattering news did I miss?
Yup! Why are stakeholders not understanding this concept?
Agree with Phaeton.
Lol... Isnt that what investing in the market is all about? Speculation? Why are people trying to dictate the content of this board? It is an open forum, right? Personally, if a discussion is uninteresting to me, I just wait until it changes to something that is.
This is why your argument about strategically increasing PPS to uplist is a valid one. You want this thing to be as high as possible when negotiations commence!
Ya, I think there is still that potential.
Curious to know if this is the same rumor Posilock is hearing???
Old news... Medtech is a French robotics co. and could be in the M/A mix for Titan. Thanks for the info though, some may not have known where he landed.
Just the type of rumor that could really make this interesting. I have to believe a handful of companies are looking at Titan now (before commercialization) so they can have a crack at it before a competitor does. Hope what you're hearing has "legs!"
No argument to anything you said! Reality is that some people on this board have stretched themselves outside of their comfort zones so they pay close attention to the day to day. This project is a winner, the majority here get that. The perspective is different depending on one's background and experience. People on this board are passionate about this and each have their own perspective and opinions about how they'd like to see this thing shake out. Everybody ought to take a step back and respect the ideas and input rather than pile on. Debate is great but pile'n on someone because they don't see things a certain way isn't all that constructive.
Understandable CUIN2. Your response is exactly how an investor should look at this. I haven't changed my opinion about Titan either. I still have high expectations and even higher hopes. I am in the research side of this industry and I do understand how the process works. I am also at an age where planning my retirement and getting my kids through high school and into good college's is a priority. I need to make smart investments with high likelihood of decent ROI. So I find myself stuck between both sides of this argument. I like the fact Titan management seems to be "nose-to-the-grindstone" when it comes to their focus on development. But I also agree with you and look at this as an investor in a publicly-traded start-up company. I want to know how things are progressing and how "we" are doing as "we" progress to each milestone. "Radio silence" is not how you get/keep investors interested. Everyone says NOW is a great time to buy. Sure for some not already in yet it certainly is. Many of us have put in a substantial stake and we feel like we are being kept in the dark. WHY would I want to put any more $ into a company that is not keeping me informed? I don't feel the need to reduce my holding yet but the day may come in the not-so-distant future that I will have decide whether or not part of my Titan holding will serve me better elsewhere.
lol... that would be nice!
Posilock can't stand hearing constructive criticism about Titan. It is what it is Posilock!
IMO the management needs to be challenged by the stakeholders to be as transparent as they can be - without stepping outside regulations. Yes, we all understand the importance of hitting the milestones on time. Patience is needed... BUT this is a publicly traded company and as stakeholders we are owners. In fact the stakeholders as a group own a considerable percentage more of Titan than does the management as a group. This is OUR company too. Im not sure Titan gets the importance of keeping investors informed. Again, tgere is a big difference between a publicly held company and a private enterprise. Bertner Associates should at least be accessible to field inquiries fron stakeholders at this time.
I wish him luck! Everybody has their reasons for doing what they do!
Who was bashing the stock? He said he was going to buy back in when it started moving. You make statements and predictions on here all the time. Sometimes they are informative and sometimes they're dead wrong. No one shoots back a post calling you a "dumbass" when you are off base. In this case the guy was just giving his opinion and you called him a dumbass. Constructive criticism and/or alternative input is valued. Being a douche - Not so much!
Agree... and don't quite understand why someome gets so uptight about how other people invest their money/time. Really none of his business.
The procedures performed in the pre-clinical testing of Surgibot included cholecystectomy and sleeve gastrectomy.
I concur... The first FDA approved SPORT platform is the foundation for this company. Once approved, the possibilities increase exponentially. Investors need to look at this entire development process in stages.
My understanding is that they want to get the basic platform through FDA approval first. Multiple indications would take more time so they decided to get initial approval for choles, then work on approvals in other areas. Per the Desktop Engineering article, Fast App: Robotics Design from the Drawing Board to the OR (April 2014)...
Because larger, multi-port robots are usually employed for specialized operations such as hysterectomies and prostatectomies, Fowler and his co-inventors had initially targeted the more straightforward procedure of gallbladder removal (a.k.a. cholecystectomy, which is performed for approximately 1 million people annually in the United States alone). As the complete system takes shape, Fowler points out that the SPORT Surgical System is essentially a platform from which the technology can advance still further.
“Once we have the platform fully developed for cholecystectomy, we can refine it for other general surgeries, such as appendectomies and ear, nose and throat procedures,” he says. “In subsequent generations, we will be able to add additional sensors, tools and software enhancements. But first we need to perfect the platform.”
...So I doubt at this point they have much of a timetable in place for other indications. Hopefully Ximedica is contemplating a rough timeline now so that they can continue their progression post FDA approval.
Agreed!
I agree, it would be interesting to see SPORT in action in vivo. I suppose there may be aspects of the functionality that are apparent in the video that they may not want to release yet.
That is a bit strange! They really should do a better job at keeping investors informed via the web site, especially since they are not releasing PRs regularly. Has anyone on the board tried contacting Sherry yet?
Not sure. Does anyone have that info?
Yes, thats where I first saw it!
Talarico exercised 100k options on 7/4. He is currently holding the shares in common stock.
The company info spewed on the message boards on CafePharma isn't much different than much of that spewed on iHub. Every poster on any message board has their own agenda. You just gotta sift through it all and figure out what info is valid and what is not.
