It does matter who the buyer might be if an investor plans to roll-over some/all of his/her stock.
Agreed! Just wondering why someone had to try and convince us that surgical robotics will continue to advance and grow. That is pretty much a "given" at this point.
Crap! I exceeded my self-imposed limit of one post per day!
L & S !
The majority of the people on this board that have posted claim to be longs. Point being, those in the day-to-day discussion believe in the future of robotics so why keep preaching to the choir? If someone wants to debate that surgical robotics is not the right direction for the industry, they wouldnt last a minute on this board without being hammered by the masses. I'm just questioning who the post was directed at?
Why would anyone on this board doubt the future of robotics if they're long-term investors in Titan?
It's a buying opportunity folks! Closer it gets to $2 pps the more Im buy'n! As far as the market goes, a major correction is anticipated and needed!
Sounds like that jagoff on the Yahoo board... DaPoopMonster or Eater or whatever he calls himself!
I agree with Point as well!
Well it looks like the tax benefit for a US company acquiring Titan may be out the window!

My contribution to the board today is this...
L M F A O !
Especially at the new nickname "Cheerios"
Thank you!
G'day!
My new strategy? Infrequent posts on iHub and peer in daily at the Jerry Springer-style donnybrooks all for my personal amusement!
Money well spent!!
Take care y'all... Long and Strong!
I actually think its refreshing to see CUIN analyze both sides! For awhile I seriously thought he was just a pumper (Im also sorry CUIN)! lol
lol at the nephew references!
Good post btw!!!!
I agree with you Flenderson. Im staying put! Im just defending people's choices to stay go or minimize risk without being called "dumbshits" or "assholes!". Now Ill be specific... The moderator of this board lashes out anytime someone is critical. He also says he knows insider info without elaborating. Bottom-line, this board used to be a credible place to discuss and speculate... Now it's just lame. It's sort of a microcosm of what our country has become... lame!
Agree with you CUIN! I started buying Titan about 8 months ago and now average $1.96 pps. Was in the red quite awhile. Im at about 19% ROI now. Not bad but not great. I sold some blue chippers to get in to Titan. They've all done as good or better over the same period. My point? Everyone's is in a different circumstance and has different short, medium and long-term goals!
That's not my strategy at this point but I understand and respect yours!
Apologize if I misconstrued your statement. However, there are others on here that get their panties in a wad whenever Titan's strategy is challenged. Some resort to name-calling.
As far I can tell, it's not recent performance that is the issue for some... Overall strategy is the issue. You have yours, they have theirs, and Titan Mgt has theirs. Why does it bother u so much that u (and others) have to call people asses if they see it differently?
This is what I mean... Someone is saying they may relinquish part of their holdings in a penny stock due to their investment strategy and they're being called an ass? Why?
You were a huge cheerleader for Titan when I first came to the board. You were also a wealth of knowledge for me in regards to the company and my own due diligence. Your consistently positive input was a challenge for me though, so at times I felt the need to question certain things about the company. Now that you have questioned Titan's overall strategy and have acted accordingly, more people who cannot handle constructive criticism about Titan are speaking out. I honestly dont get it!
...AND the whole point of my argument is that CUIN, Honey and everyone else who has asked for more transparency from the company are doing so because they can and they should. You can choose to put your head in the sand.
It cracks me up that people are getting so upset that others are being critical of Titan. Do I agree with the daily drumbeat? No, not at all. But those that do are entitled as shareholders just as you are entitled to put your head in the sand.
...to be clear... they are not the same thing in my statement.
Read what I wrote again because I chose my words carefully. An investor and a shareholder are not always the samething.
...and btw, in both a Democratic Republic AND a publicly traded company, if the people / shareholders had the will to shut either down, they could. The power lies with the few because the majority funds it for them AND allows them to run it! Propaganda and divisiveness which originates from the few is how the people / shareholders are controlled!
Who's being negative? Certainly not I. I'd like to be informed! And THEY could not continue without investors. They NEED investors to finance OUR company!! They can have all the technical knowledge and skill in the world. They still NEED investors!!! And I believe all the shareholders combined minus Titan Management own over 90% of the company. We are entitled to ask for transparency! Operate blindly if u want... that's your choice!
Good post!
I do agree with u however... The daily drumbeat for PRs is getting REAL OLD! Get out of the stock if u are really unsure of it people!
Diamond, what dont you understand about investing in a public company? Shareholders/Stakeholders own the company... WE AS A COMBINED GROUP of Shareholders own more of this company than do the members of management. Like it or not, that is simply how it works. Shareholders have a right to information and to voice opinion. Now, if a shareholder doesnt like how a company operates, they have the choice to sell their individual percentage of ownership (stock) of the company. It is what it is!

Great point. Could also be a sticking point in an acquisition. The acquiring company would most likely want to own the rights exclusively. If that is the case, they will need to "buck up" to Columbia U as well as Titan in a three-way agreement.
True!
Ya, i could see that!
Im concerned about the state of this country's economy, and current unfolding world events, as well and realize these could play a significant role in Titan's near -term success.
Remember though, Titan scrapped Amadeus and started working on SPORT. That set them back. In a way I give some of these guys here credit for hanging on!
Nor do I condone drunk driving! I certainly dont advise drunk messaging... Ive seen the carnage!!
lol! Was prone to that in my younger days as well. Glad I never killed anyone (on the road or in this room)!
Im doing neither. Simply stating my opinion that if Titan would divulge a bit more info regarding development status in between milestones, and lay out short, medium long term goals (an informational video is one way) that doesnt put them in the same category as Transentetix. You implied that doing so would be like Transenterix's PR strategy and not be conducive to Titan's success. If I understood your statement incorrectly, I apologize. Titan will be successful on the merits of SPORT in the long run. I dont want to see information overload just for the sake of PPS. But I want to be fully informed on critical aspects as the process goes forward. This board has become a pissing match between those that want PRs everday and those that dont care if theyre kept in complete darkness. I fall in-between. Give me info that matters to me as a stakeholder... PPS does matter. Uplisting does matter. Should it be a primary focus at this stage? No! Getting this machine ready for testing and approval is the #1 focus. That said, where are we? What can we expect in the next 1, 3, 6, and 12 months? Can you tell me? Can you give me an accurate account of where Titan is? I am a stakeholder. I own part of this company. You are okay with not knowing, that's fine, I dont care. Im not going to sit on this board and start bad-mouthing you for your opinion. I prefer to be kept updated and informed.
This isnt a message board, it's a pissing match. Fkn dumb pissing match!
Why do people keep comparing. what Titan is or isn't doing to what Transenterix is/isnt doing? They are two different companies. Plenty of companies have done quite well with regularly disseminated info, transparency to shareholders, flashy websites, etc. Conversely, companies have done well without. ...and huge numbers of companies have tanked regardless of their strategy. Some companies even flourish not long after a reverse-split (no im not advocating this, please dont start a days-long discussion on R/Ss - just making a point). TRXC isnt doing well simply because their product will not be a cutting-edge advancement to what ISRG offers. It is not going to meet the needs/demands of the surgeons who currently use DaVinci or smaller institutions that wish they had a DaVinci. Personally I dont care what Titan's website looks like except that it should have updated information on it. Hitting Milestones and Transparency to Stakeholders is all I care about. Most everything else is fluff! If Titan could produce a video presentation outlining where they currently are in development and a more specific timeline, info on current/future partnerships, marketing plan, etc... I think it would be fantastic! How is that not beneficial? It's not "fluff" if it is new/unknown information. It's not "fluff" if it brings value to current / potential stakeholders.
I own this stock as well thanks to a few of you that had suggested taking a look. A bit riskier than Titan but upside is potentially even bigger than Titan as far as market dynamics. CUIN is right about the video too. I saw it for the first time earlier today. There is no reason Titan shouldn't have a similar video presentation available at this point.
