Weekend investor attention will spot Pot stocks (especially Canadian LPs --- what a safe harbour in this storm), and they will also buy into this sector ... logic ... what other industrial sector anywhere in the world could offer opportunities of this med + rec market ahead....
My son in Scandinavia also bought this morning and got filled at 2.65.... he is a happy PhD student.... maybe he is following you on this board... Well good luck to both of youse and to everyone here on CGC...
Well said, Mr MMPRuser... sometimes I just can't get where you are at... but today, man, you are spot on.
I invest to make money with other humans in the creation of wealth... not speculation...
thanks, man.
Pot Pensions....
A global gale is blowing with UK exit...
blood across the trading floors...
BUT OGI is holding up.
What a safe harbour in these troubled times.
These pot shares are turning into the best 21st century investment...
There will be more volatility .... wealth-wipe out ... and suffering orthodox investors... but the wise investors will find these pot-spots in Canada and make money with LPs and a roaring great future market ahead..
.
wow... what a global gale ... what a safe harbour.... stick with pot ... build your pensions...
Dow Futures down 500, Crude drops 5%, Gold rallies 5%,10 year yield down to 1.5%. Buckle up
Nice one Wo and Mr G... thanks
Isn't Bed offering compassionate at $5 per gram?
Another LP is offering its latest harvest of Joggins Fossil (Kush - an Indica-dominant strain) for $10 per gram, with a compassionate price of $7.50 per gram.
Folk have commented that Marc and Jodie Emery are selling at $13 a gram.
Such compassionate and competitive pricing from the LPs will migrate huge volume of clients from the black/grey market to the legal med market…
Bottom line moves most folk...
We have been reading / churning numbers + stats + prospects, and this Canadian market (med + rec) could be even bigger than the Californian market…
Here in California we are paying $12 to $13 a gram (that’s US dollars).
So the Canadian LPs selling at $5 to $7.50 (compassionate) seems very vert fair when viewed from this section of the American continent.
A move from Cal to Can could save thousands of dollars…

Hey, MarketShark, are you back in MT again?
Parking cash in Pot.
Here is a quote from another iHub LP board:
double eagle:
I think we will gets some juicy news prior to year end. lots of catalyst coming up. what a nice place to park some cash :)
That canny investor has got it right.
A number of LPs are going to do really well.
And clever investors will see profit fatting with OGI...
Share Price Increase
Thanks, Goodbuddy, this must be why OGI is increasing.
Is there any word on OGI uplisting to the TSX?
Thanks Goodbuddy ... trading rise this week...?
only weeks from financials and new gov med rules...
Have a sunshine week...
Excellent analysis. Thanks You know stocks and trends.
however, I have one question re:
"Q in two weeks and MMPR in 2 months is a bonus."
will the Canadian gov offer MMPR.2 first to the court in August, or will they bring in gov regulation before? How does it go in Canada?
Starting today, July 1st, you can now legally grow cannabis in Spain. This is massive news for medical growers, patients and those looking for a healthy alternative to alcohol.

"Trudeau is saying that this current approach isn't working, and that people legitimately concerned over the harms of the drug trade should consider a radically different approach. So far, the evidence is backing him up."
Thanks, Goodbuddy, for posting a great article...
Future life is on the up for LPs... Go OGI
...'they want to have an attractive market cap for the larger serious investors' ... you could be right YodaLayHeHoo.... have been wondering this for a while.
Need to break past 2.68, then on the road to next resistance 2.87, and onto 3.06....
But what holds this stock down...?
Uplisting....?
Will OGI uplift from the Venture to the TSX?
Could it happen before autumn?
Canopy maybe the first LP to list onto the 'adult' stock exchange - giving CGC shareholders exposure to a wider interest and greater potentials for profit.
"Canopy Growth Corporation receives Conditional Approval to List Shares on TSX"

"When it comes to Canadian Licensed Producers, our favorite investments are Aurora Cannabis Inc. (ACB.CN) (ACBFF), Canopy Growth Corporation (CGC.V) (TWMJF), and OrganiGram Holdings (OGI.V) (OGRMF)."

"We expect to see a favorable announcement made by either the FDA or DEA during the back half of 2016 and we believe this will serve as a major catalyst for the cannabis stocks that meet an exchange’s listing requirements."

Big change acoming.
Thanks for your article...
I liked: ..."could be a sign that the Obama administration is preparing to announce a big change in policy soon,” Tom Angell, chairman of the Marijuana Majority"
SP should rise this summer with new health regs and rec on the horizon... I am holding.
That was a nice profit you made with MT. It's still running, I'm holding. This summer these pot stock could take off with new medical regs. And this sp does not represent recreational, IMO.
MT still on a run ... wonder is CGC next?
spot on... you are right.... and IMO patients, cool people who just want to get on with life, will migrate to the legal, and LP patient number could pop in next weeks... Canada has introduced the stick of police raids, but it be better now if HC offers the carrot to these good people to promote their migration to the legal .... say 25% or 50% off their first legal buy from an LP (tax write off)... eh,
WOW, thanks, what up to the moment reporting...

You Canadians sure produce heroes ...
Most people in Ireland view your ambassador Kevin Vickers as a hero.
Let us hope that this JT admin puts the same effort into cleaning up the MMJ and RecJ markets at home as much as they tackle anti-social behaviour abroad...

US teens cannabis use declines...
http://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/may/25/teen-adolescent-marijuana-weed-pot-use-abuse-decline
An interesting paragraph:
"A California study found that decriminalization in the state in 2011 did not lead to an increase in teen crime, drug overdoses, cases of driving under the influence or dropout rates."
THANKS.
$7B to $10B market
http://business.financialpost.com/news/agriculture/marijuana-legalization-point-man-bill-blair-praises-canadas-licensed-producers
"There are currently just 65,000 to 70,000 patients signed up to the medical marijuana program, meaning the industry is worth less than $200 million a year. By contrast, Blair said the marijuana black market in Canada is worth perhaps $7 billion to $10 billion a year."
Canada has it right ...
and patients are migrating from the grey to canada's legal med. Another LP has announced 13k patients. New HC regs ought to lessen the burden on LPs and so allow this patient migration to increase... even offer incentives .... at most the LPs only have now 20% of the med market. Huge growth potential for OGI.
Politicians / bureaucrats are slow across the world, and they do only when they have to do... the court deadline will be looked back on as a great advantage to legal medical... the rulers are now forced to rule, and those new rules will come before their summer holidays... they won't allow their annual pleasures to be interfered with... so new 'progressive / lighter / but stricter' rules coming in next four to six weeks.
Wo, we sympathasise with you and your weekend wrecked ... yesterday our medication finished. We phoned, and in 60 minutes the medicine was delivered up to us in the foothills here in California. We are staying in California for five months, went to a doctor with european driving licence and was accepted into mmj here. We can go down the mountain and visit dispensaries or, better, they deliver up the mountain to us.... What is happening here in Cal is the way Europe will go.
Yep, that's it...
Canada is more progressive than most countries regarding cannabis. Europe is behind (with exceptions like Portugal) ... even the traditionally liberal danes are presently hammering down on cannabis with constant police hash-raids in the freetown of Christiania… fools… they are throwing away a local industry, leaving their future mj markets open to global players … like Coca Cola squashed out their local soda back in the 80s or 90s…. In the US, according to Arcview Market Research, in 2014 the legal cannabis industry grew at a rate of 74%, from $1.5 billion to $2.7 billion, making it the fastest growing industry in America.
IMO the northamericanos will take over this industry on a global scale such as they did with Coca Cola, Apple, FB, Mircosoft, McDonalds…….
Anyone buy shares in OGI now are giving themselves a great pension for early retirement....
Hunchbackgeek, you are right about Canada being more progressive ... but, i think, europe is way behind (with exceptions like Portugal) ... even the traditionally liberal danes are presently hammering down on cannabis with constant police hash-raids in the freetown of Christiania) ... We are in California at the moment and the canna industries here are in full flight and growth (jobs, large-grow builds, expanding products, capital attraction (you can get 12% p.a. interest for lending to canna businesses here) ...In the US, according to Arcview Market Research, in 2014 the legal cannabis industry grew at a rate of 74 percent, from $1.5 billion to $2.7 billion, making it the fastest growing industry in America.
Green Rush …. Producing millions in tax …
The older crowd is going for non-pesticide
