lol... keep adding to your credibility!
Like you did with your 5 cent to 20 cent daily share increase prediction?
lol
Hey, I hope you and your iHub aliases prove me wrong because Ive been long from day one (Feb of this year for me) and I have increased my holdings incrementally as well. I have not sold a share to date. Still not sure why some of you don't like critical analysis of Titan. You show characteristics of a true pump-n-dumper. But hey, to each his or her own.
You make it sound like we should see a significant spike upon some major announcement. So what is your prediction on news and/or PPS?
Now Posilock is talking to himself!
Okay, Mr. Insider! lol. Wait, let me guess, Margaret Hamburg is your next door neighbor... but you cannot divulge anymore info? Shhhhhhh!
If anyone is relying on any message board to make any investment decisions, they are idiots, plain and simple!
Well we all are certainly very lucky to have you contributing so much of your wisdom each day! What would this board be without you?
They typically do the trials at the Investigator's site. They will want surgeons that have access to a large cholecystectomy patient base. He should contact Dr. Fowler and/or Ximedica directly.
Do you have a study coordinator?
AGREE!!!!!!!!! This is why Im in the camp that thinks we need more transparency.
I agree with you LTG. Have been harping on this for awhile. The FDA process will slow us down. Realistically, we are looking at early to mid 2016, and that's with staying on track!
Hard to say. FDA is quirky when it comes to protocol requirements. Since this is an entirely new platform, they are going to want solid safety data. If you look at Intuitive's chole study, they anticipate completion in June 2015. The study at UC-Davis began enrolling in 2012. If Titan has a large sample requirement, let's hope they plan on a multi-centered study so it doesnt take so long. If it's multi-centered, they will need to evaluate all of the potential sites and train all of the Principal Investigators. Protocol development, vendor bidding and site selection/training take some time. Then finding (300?) subjects to consent to the study and meet inclusion/exclusion criteria takes some time as well. I am assuming Ximedica is working on all this now.
Interesting though that Intuitive's Chole protocol calls for a 300 subject sample.
Yes, Im guessing since TRXC's Surgibot robotic platform is basically an enhanced version of the Spider platform, they are able to get around some of the requirements. Once our model is "frozen" and we proceed to human trials, the FDA is our greatest rate-limiting factor!
I haven't been on CafePharma in awhile. I'll take a look. I know some of the ISRG posters didn't seem too concerned about Titan from what I remember. Is there something you are referring to specifically? I posted some info on the current da Vinci single port cholecystectomy trial earlier today. THAT is enough to show me how worried ISRG is about Titan! One thing that bothers me about it though, if all goes well, daVinci will have the chole indication well before SPORT is approved. They are currently enrolling now (at one site) and the sample size is 300 subjects. If Titan is required to have a similar sample size, they better have multiple study sites or it is going to take awhile!
lmao
Okay, thanks Posilock II
Sometimes
Yep, it's ISRG
Just read it again... It's da Vinci.
I think i posted this once already... Titan or a competitor? Not sure if this is just an Investigator initiated study or a sponsor company.

lmao
It's a legitimate question!
I just gotta say... every time you post something it validates even more to me that you are a "pumper!" You are starting to sound like the "retarded offspring love-child" from a Posilock and g70 rendezvous!
L & S
Simple, to the point, good advice!
LTGs brief appearance today reminded me to go take a look at TRXCs recent perfrmance... OUCH!
Yes, that is what I understand too. When he sold, that was the reason I suggested that he may have sold.
I agree with Larry as well but, as has been pointed out time and again on this board, everyone has their own expectations! Why can't people accept that?
His 200k sale was fairly recent. Again, not significant since he holds so much.
Not sure why people keep jump'n all over CUIN. He is not trying to manipulate the pps. He's asking himself valid questions and wants his $ to work for him. If anything, those of you who refuse to be critical sound more like "pumpers" to me.
Both of you have made valid points. Bottom-line, the healthcare landscape is changing and, IMO, not for the better!

Actually many GPs and specialusts have moved or are in the process of moving to private fee-for-service or Concierge / Boutique service (or retiring) because of the ACA. This doesnt mean they are more business savvy, it simply means they will need to become more business savvy in order to survive financially in their chosen field. They are leaving what was once their "comfort zone" because it is no longer worth it to them financially.
Your clock is broken if it's only right twice a day!
I was wondering the same thing actually! I couldn't recall who had posted it initially. Thanks for asking the group!
...And the board just doesnt seem the same without Honey's daily drum-beat! Looking forward to 8/13 AND 8/15! lol
Honeycomb's August 15th Announcement was confirmed...several times!
lol
Anyone else think Suckitup sounds a bit too much like Posilock? Just say'n!
Could it happen sooner rather than later? Sure! But if Titan management is confident enough in its development of SPORT, why wouldn't they at least wait until approval? They want to maximize their ROI just as much as we want them to!
Short-term? a buyout would be better than a partnership for pps. Long-term? A partnership with a company that has a solid sales force in place is best for expeditious sales growth / valuation right out of the box. I do not see Titan putting the right pieces in place to market SPORT on their own. For timing and rapid increased valuation upon product launch a partnership leading to an eventual M/A would be best IMO.
Good post. I was working for Schering-Plough when they went into a partnership with Merck to develop and market Vytorin (Zetia/Simvastatin). After a couple years on the market the two companies merged. I can see Titan heading in a similar direction. As much as everyone wants Titan to go it alone, it just isn't feasible. An established sales force needs to hit the ground running upon approval! A partnership and eventual buyout may be the best-case scenario overall.
Agreed! The buyout price will be similar regardless of the company that is granted the bid. But it does make a difference if the shareholder wants to continue to hold stock in the new company. Each potential company is managed differently, has different marketing plans/goals, near-term and long-term growth potential, etc. If and when a buyout occurs, depending on the company, I plan on selling a portion of my holdings and keeping a portion long-term.
It only makes sense with J. Hargrove's past at Ethicon. I'm sure many current and former Ethicon employees/management are following Titan (and Hargrove) closely.
Personally, my choice would be a small to medium sized company, with an established international sales force, that has room to grow. A takeover by a mega-company like JnJ would mean a stock transfer at a fraction of JnJ's current pps. Also, while JnJ is a fantastic blue-chip stock (part of my overall portfolio) I think the growth rate after the acquisition by a smaller company would have the potential to reap maximum ROI sooner.
Thoughts?
