You're kidding, right? Gamblers, er, um, manipulators, need more pessimism than optimism.
Now, I'm being pessimistic here, so bear with me...
I absolutely, totally and unequivocally disagree. Unbridled, unchecked optimism can lead to bad choices, in many aspects of life.
I believe a healthy dose of optimism paired with a moderate amount of pessimism (caution/skepticism) lends itself to a harmonious decision-making skill set.
Having said that, would you like to look at some income properties I have for sale in the heart of Death Valley? Can't go wrong!!
Optimism is great and necessary, but too much of it can be dangerous.
As it was in the beginning, now and ever shall be, optimism without end.
Amen.
Oh, Oh! Mr. Kotter! We're talking about imaginary dividends. Why didn't you say so in the first place?
I will place these NNVC dividends right next to all my other imaginary wealth, which includes a toilet made out of solid gold.
Thought about it. Help me out here. Which dividends are we talking about?
I rarely go to the bank in person - most transactions I do online.
Nevertheless, looking at the chart for say, oh a year or so, it appears that the Shorts had many more opportunities than did the Longs to "clean up." Many more downward trends than upward ones.
Just sayin'
I dunno.
I think they counter quite nicely the outlandish claims of meteoric share price increases.
And my teenage son frequently asks me, "When would I ever use Physics in real life?"
'nuff said.
Furthermore, I am under no illusions that anything I say here will, in any way, affect the SP of NNVC. I am not a paid detractor. If I knew how to become one, I'd seriously consider changing professions.
I do like to believe, though, that my comments may have a certain capacity to temper some of the outlandish claims many of the Longs have made and continue to make.
Thank you for your sage advice. I will certainly take it under advisement.
I do not, however, have a short strategy with NNVC.
Historically (I'd say from 2008 to 2013) I was a Long. I divested my long position and, fortunately, escaped with a slight advantage to the green side. I have abandoned my long position (and stance) and have taken interest in NNVC as a trading vehicle. As such, I have fared slightly better than when I maintained my long position for those many fruitless years.
I currently hold a small number of shares and sincerely hope the SP rises to a point where I can unload with a small profit.
The solution, then, is obvious. No more use of bold, italics, underlining or font colors. Then there will be no misunderstandings.
It is most unfortunate that NNVC's strengths are never enough to overcome market manipulation.
LOL. It's been a long time since someone called me too young! You made my day!!
It is sooooooo funny.....
All of the cheerleaders are giving high fives and shouting, "In yo faces, be-yotches!" at this minor spike in price.
What will you be saying when the price falls back next week, I wonder?
Nobody's perfect.
I shall. As a manipulator (I prefer the term 'maker'), I reap the rewards from price increases and decreases.
Good at it and good at spotting it.
Force-a-nano,
I seem to recall you predicting share prices in the hundreds of dollars, but more recently your predictions have only been in the sub-$100 range.
Why the pessimistic outlook?
[and yes, I think I am talking to myself most of the time]
I'm glad you're finally coming around. Your past doom and gloom predictions are quite contrarian to your new-found optimism.
There's always a bright side!
