Here is my $.02
I know the company has no idea why the price has been driven down like it has, especially in the face of good news. I have gotten this info directly.
I think this all started when we didnt make the R2K, whoever did all of the buying to keep PPHM on the R2K had to turn around and sell all of those shares they bought after the attempt failed. Plus the actual rebalance drove it down even further as all of the instituations had to liquidate. Now when you also add in the latest credit crunch making a lot of hedge funds have to liquidate what they can, it has created a lot of downward pressure. I think it is just a perfect storm of events that has brought us to where we are, and it does not look like it is done yet. If you use some old Wall St wisdom, then buy when there is blood in the streets. The question is, have we seen enough blood yet?
