RedSky, I am still confused as to what website I should link to in order to use the UserID and PW.
what's the website?
Mi amigo, have a good and safe time. We are very anxious to hear from you about the mines, people working them, production level, etc. So, when you have some time, let us in on some of the information your have gathered.
Good to hear you are doing fine. For a second, some of us were wondering how we could raise money for the ransom. Either you were 'napped by the guerellas or by the senoritas... It sounds like you are having a good time and really enjoying your trip. Please take care. We all look forward to hearing your safe return and seeing those pictures, and stories.....
Everything in today's news is in line with what was put out in the previous PR's - acquisition and government backing. It's evident in the pictures that the mayor and other government officials were there. Also, there were onsite staff members, which indicates the mine(s) in manned and in process. If you notice the pictures show MGMX is also doing community service.
To put things into perspective a bit, MGMX is a real company with real people involved. They may not work at the speed we want them to, but again things sometimes take time. If they were anything other than what they claim, I don't think they would pose in those pictures with a sense of purpose.
It's just a matter of time before things start to bear fruit. Don't be discouraged because the company is not transparent, but I am certain things will turn around in our favor.
Jonny, I'd like to take on the task. Please let me know what must be done.
Texan, thanks for the news. I hope your next meeting with the CEO will give all of us more insight into what's going on.
Next week RedSky will return with his personal assessment on the company. With your upcoming meeting and his report, I am certain that it's just a matter of time before we hear about actual production.
I will probably pick up another mil on Monday, because this is a great bargain. If it were a scam, why would MGMX's officers and workers show up???? They must have something brewing.
Sometimes it's hard for people to keep the faith when things they believe in don't show signs of progress. A dying man suddenly believes in God; and when the agony continues, he blames God for not doing anything. It's ironic how some people can be. Either you believe or you don't.
MGMX has nothing to do with God, but when you think about it...you bought because you believed the stock was worth more when it was sold, and hopefully much more later on. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case, so some have turned on themselves or others with blame.
I know the last 6 months have been difficult months for people to believe in something they had little or no feedback from. I, too, am very frustrated with how the company has been so complacent. I ask myself how on earth these people can be in business all this time with the way they've managed to run a highlight company into the ground (literally)??? What happened to basic business integrity to be upfront with people? I just hope they realize how much they've done (in this case, haven't done), and get off their asses to do something about this dire situation.
I am still hopeful of RedSky's positive report on the real deal down there.
Columbia is not exactly an industrialized country with all the conveniences. Anything done there is generally very slow paced. They don't have office telephones, fax machines or internet. The setup might be a trailor and other basic accommodations for the workers. Then, any significant production must be studied and verified...
So, when a PR with any substantial information comes out it takes a while. I hope RedSky comes back with his own assessment of the situation down there. If, by chance, we see big orders next week is clear indication that he's loading up, knowing things are real and will take off...I will have my finger on the "execute" button when I see any sudden spike in volume. I urge all to sit tight and do the same.
I think the general attitude of shareholders wanting to sell is PANIC. Because there's no substantial information from the PR's doesn't mean you should sell. Just remember...you only lose if you sell. If you bought at a higher price and now it's at a low bottom, why not hold on for the long run? Life is full of unpredictibilities. As for MGMX it's still a viable investment with potentials. If the mines are there and the gold is still untapped, then time is the main factor before things start to show fruits.
RedSky is one of us. He's gone down there to give us his personal take on the real deal. Until then let's just sit tight.
Give it another 60 days or so.
After RedSky returns from his trip, or until he gives us updates, then we can base our anticipation on more real numbers. Right now it's all speculation. Be patient and the truth will be told.
It could be RedSky in Columbia. Maybe the CEO advanced him the $15k to buy the 5k shares to add to his profolio as good faith of the company's real potential.
I suggest banning his IP. Otherwise, he can just create a new nick and come back on the board.
I don't know if he was being sarcastic or serious when he mentioned about RedSky coming back with his head on a spear. Whatever the case, it's not funny talking like an immature dumbass.
Moron21283, you are an idiot! Get your head out of your ass and smell the coffee - Columbian coffee.
You have proved your point of being a rock. Enough said.
How would the locals know whether the mines are profitable? And, how would anyone know where Lamb was a professor? Come on.
The only thing the locals would know is how many of their own work at the mines and if there are Help Wanted ads in the newspaper or at local churches, etc.
A few angles to approach the investigation: first, are there local businesses that are part of the mining community. If so, is MGMX part of the mining companies in the area? Are they buying local supplies??? Second, are there local government officials who can verify certain areas of the land that have been reserved for specific purpose by a certain company, etc.
These are more practical questions, instead of trying to discredit MGMX's existence with absurd questions.
Bring your own sheepskin, because the barn is full of goats.
That guy is a Moron 21,283 times in his life. Don't worry, because he will always be a moron.
RedSky is our representative. He's gone down to Columbia to investigate whether the mines are as they are claimed to be. Even if the CEO shares information with RedSky, he would just tell things as they are and forward looking information. So why would he be violating any insider information laws? This is what RedSky is doing - performing his own DD.
What's illegal about going to a company's onsite locations and talking to the CEO? This idiot Monger should apply for a real job. Just a little insider information for him...if he ever gets interviewed for any job, he would be shown around the company and told about the company in's and out's of its operation. If he believes that's illegal, then I suppose he never had a real job.
You sound like a true idiot. Why don't you crawl back to the same hole you came out. If this stock is beyond discussion, then why the hell are you even on this board??? Get your head out of your ass!
oro = gold = mgmx
If they demand a ransom, we can negotiate your release with our MGMX stock certificates
That's why you da man. You are mi heroe! Numero uno.
Redsky, I hope you have been writing down the concerns expressed on this board.
Whoever created their website did a decent job with the layout and presentation of information. All is needed now is for someone to post updates and add pictures. The time required to update the website would take about 10 minutes. I hope that isn't too much to ask for. I am sure Mr. Giraldo will find time from his busy schedule to delegate the task and get someone to do it.
Perhaps, they will incorporate a Q&A on the website to allow shareholders to pose questions. Even the secretary can answer the questions from updates relayed from the folks onsite at the mines.
Mi amigo, I wish I knew answers for all the why's in this world. The fact is I do not know even half of why things are the way they are. Regarding owning MGMX....I am in neck deep, and I have to live with the decision I made when I bought.
I thought, like all on here, that when I bought the price was good and the anticipated value was going to rise. Sometimes life just sucks! But I am not griping because I am holding on to millions of some worthless shares. And NO, I don't have money to just throw away, or just let it sit.
I've tried calling and emailing, too. Unfortunately, management is too complacent and those in charge need to get off the fat behinds. BUT, you know what...not much has been shown to us as valuable information. That's why the stock has dipped to where it is now. Even with the last PR, the price dropped even further. People don't want to hear hype; they want something more substantial - real numbers, manpower, working capital, types of equipment used, production level, etc. That's why it's so dawn difficult for some to put things into perspective.
I hope Redsky's trip will give us better insight on what's going on with the company. All we can do now is wait. There's no need for us to sit around pointing the finger at each other. We must be creative in the way we deal with the circumstances.
I don't know what brokerage firm you use, but it will eat in to your bottom line. If you are serious about liquidating, I would suggest ordering a plain with a litre of Coke. That should cover the order. I just hope you don't have heart burns when you realize gold tastes better than cheese.
That's a tough one. Think about it... you made $2 on the increase today. I say that's pretty good (daily increase of 8%) on your money. In two weeks you can literally double of what you have [left]. j/k
I got in when the price was still high. Then, when the price dropped, I bought more. I am still very tempted to buy more and hold for the long-term.
Yes, I am very disappointed because the price keeps dropping. But again...the inherit nature of buying/selling stocks hinders on chance and calculated risks. If you all think about it, at this price level, you can't go wrong on just a $1k investment that can turn you into a millionaire. If the CEO has extended his welcome mat for Texan and Redsky, then he has nothing to fear about the company. It's just a matter of time. Let's see who's got cajones to hang around.
Let's make up a list of questions so RedSky can have the CEO address with specific answers.
You are so caught up with what RedSky can or can't prove to "you" so that you can talk about him. Isn't that being a "Small mind"? If you are a true shareholder, then just be "average minded" like the rest and discuss the circumstances that may have a direct influence on the stock's current value.
RedSky is being above most or all of us in here. He's taking initiatives! He's not sitting around discussing; he's doing it. He's not just shelling out his own doe to go there, he's also taking personal satety risks by being there so that we all can rest assured of our own investment decisions. I think that says a lot!
BTW, I picked up another 1.1 million shares today. Redsky, we are going to enjoy bluer skies in the Tropics one day just because we have faith.
Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds discuss ideas.
I called several times.
This number has a real person answering 416-214-7847. I used Skype to call (Free US and Canada calls). You can download the software, install, and create a UserID...that's all folks.
I suggest all to call the number above and insist that the compnay provide updates. Ask them to at least give shareholders the courtesy of knowing about the company's real position. PR's are just hype, we want more!
I called both numbers in Canada. One went directly to K. Lamb voicemail, the other was answered by a lady in Human Resources. I tried asking her questions but she was very reluctant to say anything; she told me to hang on then had the call transferred K. Lamb's voicemail.
I asked her if she worked for MGMX, and she said "yes" but went on to say that she didn't know anything about the business. I wanted to ask her a bit more, but she had transferred.
There are a lot of unanswered questions. Any Bona Fide company would have at least some professional decency to respond to shareholders' questions/concerns. There are times I question the legitimacy of the company's existence. But all my due deligence convinced me that there's more to it than hearing people voicing their anger because of lack of or no transparency.
I am hopeful of more substantial news from the company so that we can all have a reason to believe in its potentials. Mere news don't cut it! We need real numbers, head count, inventory, plans of action, ect.
Right now, we are all in a world of hurt waiting on news/updates. But you know what? Once all said and done, we will either walk away with a hefty bank account or penniless (which we are currently at). So, let's be real with the situation and hope a brighter tomorrow will come.
They already have workers and equipment in place to do general work. I am sure they are producing but very little. And, whatever they are getting is being sold on the black market to help finance their operation. Once they hit it BIG on one mine, then they can bring in more people and buy more equipment.
The precursor to having a full-blown operation requires money and ready hands. They may lack that now, but they know what they have and want more of it, by buying more. It's just a matter of time before they announce real numbers.
Meetings are still in session and Labor Day weekend is just a few days away makes activities a bit quiet.
Once meetings are done then we can can look forward to more solid news. Hang on to you socks, because we will go for a ride.
Does anyone know why my other nick was removed and my postings deleted? I just created it a few days ago. I am just wondering if the system rejected my profile for some reason or if it was by someone.
Interesting point! But give me a minute to get my head out of my three point of contact so that I don't see things your way. Remember we do not live in a perfect world with all the answers. We can always sit around scratching our butts and asking what-if's.
The reason I bought this stock was because I saw its potential, while factoring in certain influences that could affect my investment/assessment. If I could only predict tomorrow's outcome of one stock, I wouldn't be here writing this.
Sometimes after a rainy day brings out a bluer sky tomorrow.
