It looks like they are loading the boat. At this rate they might own 5% by the time the STP EEZ is producing oil.
-ach
Will we get up to 100,000 by noon? Maybe if we combine the volume for every day this week we might get to that 3-4 million volume number.
-ach
And the results are in.....
Winner by lack of volume (drumroll) TheDane.
Oily,
They'd better be strong winds, cause we've got a long way to go to 3 million shares.

Oily,
I have that same typewriter next to my commodor 64.
-ach
aa,
I couldn't interpret those ****. Did you mean you would be an angry asian? LOL
If you know there is a PR coming out, does it jive with Oily's comments? I would assume it would be out in the next 10 days, as DK has indicated to me that the shareholder update is typically released the first 2 weeks of the month.
-ach
AA,
Anything new to share?
Thanks,
-ach
Oilphant,
I just opended a fortune cookie with my chinese food. The lucky numbers are 16, 27, 38, 20, 5 and 34. Do these numbers have anything to do with the drillship or Obo-1 results?
Thanks,

November @ 3:00

UPDATE 2-Centurion says in talks on possible transaction
(Adds company, analyst comments)
By Jeffrey Jones
CALGARY, Alberta, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Centurion Energy International Inc. , a junior oil firm operating in Egypt and West Africa, said on Tuesday it is in talks with an unnamed company about a possible transaction, sending its shares up 3 percent.
Calgary-based Centurion, whose stock had already jumped by 18 percent in the past week, gave no assurances a deal would result from the discussions. Nor would it predict what form a transaction might take.
The company said talks began with an unsolicited approach from the third party.
Centurion vice-president Paul McDougall said he could add nothing to the brief statement that was issued by the company in response to queries from Toronto Stock Exchange officials about brisk trading activity in its stock in recent days.
"We'll keep everybody informed through press releases as things go on," McDougall said.
After a trading halt for the announcement was lifted, the shares rose 24 Canadian cents to C$9.04 in Toronto. Centurion's London-listed shares ended the session 10.4 percent higher at 449-1/2 pence.
The company produces about 32,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day and aims to pump 38,000 by the end of this year.
Earlier this year, the stock was under pressure following disappointing drilling results in Centurion's Egyptian operations.
Investors had been closely watching the fifth of a five-well drilling program as part of a joint venture with Royal Dutch Shell Plc , and had wondered if Shell would continue, said Warren Verbonac, analyst with Octagon Capital in Calgary.
"Whether that's connected with what's happening this morning, I have no idea," Verbonac said. "The observation I would make is that Centurion's asset value at the end of last year was C$5.30 a share, so it would be a very, very expensive transaction for somebody to make if they're going to pay a premium to the current price."
He said it was possible that Centurion would use its own stock to make an acquisition.

Oily,
#79211 - Correct?

Jim,
What makes you say that? I would think that would be a big deal. That would put Shell in Block 4 (9.5%) and make the Pathfinder that much more of a possibility as our "rig of opportunity".

Does that mean I get 10% of ERHC's royalty checks?
-ach
dc,
Why would ONGC or APC share the BD without ensuring that one of their blocks are drilled first?
-ach
db,
I do not believe 4 is a likely possibility. 2 because of ONGC, 3 because of APC, and 1 because of CVX. If their is a straddle block 1 production will result in revenue for ERHC. This is why these vague posts drive me nuts.
-ach
Umbra,
Again with the Swiss? You have gotten away from that kind of hinting in the past couple of months. Is there a reason you have brought the chocolate reference back up again?
-ach
Spec,
block 1, 2 or 3? I assume 1.
-ach
sorry for butting in.
-ach
Spec,
Belford Dolphin? I would assume then that we are looking at Block 2 for first drilling with ONGC controlling the rig?
-ach
xxxxx:
Thanks for your note. Since this is simply an investigation and no
charges
have been filed, there are no charges to be dropped. We don't typically
comment on speculation, but it is conceivable that the investigation
would
at some point be closed, in which case, I presume that ERHC's attorneys
would be notified.
It's important to understand that investigations can be drawn out over a
long period of time. That's why ERHC's leadership is focused on
continuing
to execute the company's business strategy and will not allow the
investigations to be a distraction.
Sincerely,
Dan Keeney, APR

Oily,
