No answer from Kristine. Still lists employment at IPIX . Still looking for a new job that is home based.
I guess no one but me seems to think it odd that our usual correspondents are not corresponding.
Leo must know by now if all the participants are accounted for. feb 13 seems a long time ago.
P trial on Clinicaltrials.gov has not been updated since 2/13/2018
Wish we had one of those email correspondents with us now.
I am assuming he is dragging things out for like forever.
I think he is smart. Just not a humanitarian as is Menon. He is willing to keep plodding along to maximize profits rather than turn some of these products over to a large company that could get these medicines out much earlier than Mr Barnum and Bailey.
These products are life savers and pain and suffering reducers. That does not seem to be a priority with Mr genius. They are usable now. Why make sufferers wait for a pill in their dire conditions?
Money money money.
There ought to be a law.
2 are already a success story. B UP and The shot that beats dapto. Runner up is B OM
P is icing on the cake. Don't have enough bad words to say about mgmt.
IPIX also has an approved grant to test K with sunitinib with pfizer. It was approved a couple of years ago. Sunitinib only extends life in renal cancer patients for 5 to 9 months. No action. Go figure. money money money instead of putting the people with the disease first. imo
But he knows why the unbinding is late. If he knows nothing about what is going on how can he say when he expects the unbind. He gets weekly reports of completed participants, how many showed up or didn't for final evaluation etc.
I remember you. Your mother had cancer and we found out about cohort 1 when you investigated getting her into the DF trial. From the beginning imo Leo held back info.
Good luck to you, I am holding on because i think even though he is way ahead covering his real losses, I don't believe he will give up those gains from at least one of menon's discoveries.
Gov
It juist occurred to me that LE could have told us WHY the P trial is still blinded. Not like him not to garnish a SH letter if he's got something.
Our corresponders not keeping us abreast. Wonder why.
Well i think the genius its losing more than a million but 400K salary should comfort somewhat.
my guess
tooling around on his yacht
I wonder if that person that used to email LE once in awhile is done retiring. Also wonder about the interviewer. Kind of a bad time for us to lose their special talents.
hey what's to worry? We have that genius that's smarter than everybody at the helm. 2017 is gone doncha' know? sign something.
what do you have to back that up. she never physically worked at the headquarters. she worked remotely.
It is 2018
In order to make a deal you have to agree to something. Since IPIX has so many products you would think he would take 1/2 a loaf on ONE to get us out of this financial mess With no Board of directors to speak of he can get away with this stonewalling and do so happily with 400K salary while the genius behind this gets 200k.
nice work if you can get it.
I would like to know wether Kristine is keeping all her stock. .
Paraphrasing
"if we take care of the science the SP will take care of itself".
What a wizard!!!!
Take one deal in europe genius and get us out of this mess.
also it will help some people suffering from one of the ailments. You've heard of unintended consequences right?
I don't think so B-UP is a success. If you had those sores would you want to wait for a foam?
The shot that beat dapto - likewise. And for God sake B-OM should be breakthrough. No wonder Trump is so popular. He has common sense.
Why doesn't Leo make a deal with a european company for some these drugs? Approval etc is much easier there.
Solution too easy I guess.
On another note - Kristine made inquiry about a job. Her future is not going to be with IPIX
I think the P results will be posted very early in Q2.
K imo is not a failure . Remember all those good results from the trial at DF for kidney cancer (pfizer) ovarian cancer and pancreatic cancer.
The only way I would sue Leo is if we found out he had pretty good deal for one treatment and he turned it down. He has got all kinds of positives. He should accept one of them and take care of the share price .
The back tracking on the date for the results of the P trial is what hurt us imo. No extemporaneous
remarks from participants.
Leo should hand carry the B-OM papers to the FDA and tell them unless they are Dr Mengela protogees
this goes to the head of the line.
Facts are stubborn things.
Yes Leo immediately either with a shareholder letter or another type document told us shareholders that the Aruda/Menon settlement was between them and IPIX company shares were not involved. Menon immediately settled . He is a humanitarian first and foremost.
How about if they know B-UP works wonders as does the single shot for infections. (beats dapto)
The puzzle for me is why mgmt doesn't do the humanitarian thing and get this to market and make millions instead of trying to outsmart everybody trying to make gazillions.
Probably more little miracles that we don't know about.
I don't love any of this. I don't believe most of it. I would like some answers. If you are happy with these cheap shares are you also happy that your previously bought shares are also cheap? Has Cabel conveniently retired yet?
I emailed Kristine and asked if she still worked at IPIX her Linkedin account shows she still works there. I also asked her to clarify her post about working for 3 pharmas. No answer.
You don't understand. I don't know enough about computers to do this. met my first computer as a senior citizen. I am not qualified for this. I will not participate.
I have no idea about how I became a mod. I do not intend to moderate anything. I wouldn't know how.
Gov
B UP and the shot that beat dapto. I just don't know what can be done about LE.
We got several updates on B-UPt participant comments about how well they were doing. The people administering the treatment reported the comments.
Leo announced the manufacture of a huge amount of a form B was being manufactured for a company that manufactured medical devices. It was in a shareholder newsletter. He did not announce the name of the company. It was around the time B was being tested in clinics and hospitals mainly on the west coast as a competitor to dapto.
I am not sure I remember this correctly but I think IPIX ordered a lot of some B application (60 lbs?)for a medical device company to use on the devices to prevent infection. This was a long time ago when Kristine was newly employed. On one of her inspection trips she and Nick (FDA expert) stopped at a plant near Beverly airport. A poster Not2rich (or something like that) said the J&J plant was near the airport.
I have to tell you i had a good laugh at "engineer". I am a 86 year old retired clerk with 2 years of higher education toward a degree in history. No math skills whatsoever.
"3 outcomes were different" 1} taken over by pfizer. Second one Poly bought by IPIX 3rd one (IPIX)
she doesn't say. At least it is not clear to me what she says about IPIX status right now.
I think IPIX mgmt has told us that IPIX is going in a different direction from a start up pharma to a pharma with a lot of partners ? I don't think she confirms or refutes that. I wish she did but she is most probably under a confidentiality agreement or at the very least dependent upon Leo for a job recommendation . She is actively seeking new employment.
At any rate my opinion of her is that she is a very nice person with very happy family and other relationships and hobbies. hope no harm comes to her by my actions.
There is so much at stake here for many of the long term investors that I hope our management is on the level . I have very mixed opinions about how they go a bout things.
vicuron is only listed as being taken over by pfizer. in beginning of her post she called success as dice hitting the table.
i think going over her list I am accurate in assuming the last two. I will not be posting about this further.
She said
?I have worked for 3 starts ups - only one of them had their dice hit the table and yes, it was awesomely crazy but as wonderful as that was, the outcomes for the other two (all 3 outcomes were very different) were deeply painful because you have to walk away feeling everything you left unfinished, goals unmet, teams unravelled and yes, the stress of having to find a new job. ?
And job hunting has never been my strongest suit - I get nervous and I babble. I have two really bad knees and can't wear high heels (and let's face it people judge) and they always want to give you a tour a warp speed (I don't need a tour unless its the secret handshake that I got the job). I have had a lot of jobs on my resume in my 20+ years in the pharma industry but that's what happens when you work in start up! Recruiters mine for 'key words' and it seems, don't read resumes so they email me about job for which I am not qualified. Oh yes, the struggle is real.
?But seriously - I'm not complaining - I love what I do and I have been given some amazing opportunities these last few years and I can't thank those folks enough for believing in me and giving me those opportunities. It was a challenge and a joy and an amazing learning experience and I enjoyed it. It's change and starting over that's the hard part. I'm hoping that the lure of that teamwork pulling toward success will overcome my discomfort of change and lead me to another exciting opportunity! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
that she worked for 3 pharma start-ups)
1) "the dice hit the table) on one Vicuron (taken over by Pfizer)
2) poly medic (bought by CTIX)
3) CTIX-IPIX
She said all 3 had different endings. We know 2 Vicuron and Poly
All 3 had different endings. We know 2 .
2 were painful etc
walk away feeling everything you left unfinished, goals unmet , teams unraveled and yes having to look for a new job.
now I don't know which of those reasons applies to either poly or ipix. outcomes
does ipix have goals unmet or just poly?
The tone of the latter part of the post is sad but why? because teams are unraveled and needing a new position? I think the answer to both questions could be yes but have nothing to do with status of ipix.
I don't think she is talking about other companies but there is nothing in there about exception of dice hitting the table for IPIX And that concerns me.
Govorchin is an 86 year old lady who now lives in a retirement home. She bought stock in IPIX in 2011 and has not bought or sold a share since.
I emailed IPIX and found that one of the employees email address was no longer in use. Since I followed her blog awhile back tried it again and found new info I did not understand but thought it was relevant and posted. I thought long and hard over int because I feared she might be harassed.
I still don't understand what she is saying about IPIX.
Gov
I have followed her blog for sometime. I think she is a very nice person and I hesitated to put her at the mercy of this board that is full of geniuses that didn't find this info.
you know who I mean.
I hope I did the right thing>
if you think she said ipix is a flop i think that is relevant. am not sure what she meant. I am not going to email her.
Doesn't upper right corner say show more ?
I think people would do well to access Kristine"s linked and then click on in upper right hand corner blog and then musings of max.
She works or worked for ipix
