Clever posts here today.
All good questions and hopefully will be answered by management very soon.
For long term shareholders. I'm in favor of a special dividend(lol).
Either way we do not have to wait much longer. I am curious how well the bulbs will be received.
high bid here....come get me
Give me a break with this press release! Instead of saying it’s 70 degrees, sunny and zero % of rain they say it’s seems to be pleasant. We want real info. Very frustrated. Still accumulating. I'm still on the bid. Prey I don’t do a awaitingamove.
Welcome
boy! still trying to get the stock open @.45 FOREVER. Order place 10:37
adding...
Trump's message to China...United States seem to be softening.
look @ the 5 yr chart on CREE. Look familiar?
User name and password please
All very good points.
Thought we would finally have some news today. Some things don't change. It would have been nice to hear something before Monday's investment conference.
Excellent post.
Around 3.5 years ago we were trading ten cents r/s adjusted. It came of the base and went up about 7 times. Do you think we have that move from here? I still think our next up move is to 3.00
Love charts. The longer we base here the higher we go. If we can't go lower you know where it's going. We'll see very soon.
We have volume. Is this the calm before the storm?
Thank you.
A much more powerful man said "so it has been written so it shall be done!"
"The big question who is going to tell them? JMO"
In my opinion I do believe the answer to this question is simply the company. By posting, once again, record earnings and a good outlook, the investment community will jump on board. With all the channels in place, our distribution network is poised to fill the needs of our consumers. Our products continue to advance with power failure solution always being a priority. This being said, we will capitalize in that marketplace. Capstone is not only in a perfect market, we are on the cutting edge of what consumers want. The LED/Power failure solution is a multi-billion dollar industry. Look at key leaders in this space, they are household names and our products are side by side with all those key leaders.
The frustration of posters on this board is growing. As the original stock holder of ILDC CHDT CHDO and a few others, I have seen CAPC change in such a focused and smart company. The outlook of this company has never been better. Our 10k will be released shortly. All the numbers will reveal to the investment community that CAPC is a worthwhile investment. As I reflect on my investment in CAPC, I think of all the nonsensical products i.e. tiles, key chains, pocket safe, STP, and the list continues that lost money. Now, we have products on the shelves of big box companies that are the hardest to get into.
In a relatively short period of time, Mr. Wallach has taken the helm and has steered us not only through difficult waters, but he has finally steered us to profitability. Granted his communication has not always been resounding, but he has mentioned in the past that he will only make press releases when there is significant information. In the end, if the results speak for themselves, does it really matter?
I believe that the next conference call is the most crucial call we have ever taken part in. Not only has Mr. Wallach’s forecast been conservative, but he has continued to deliver on the company’s expectations. I believe the launch of the new bulbs will be the game changer and cannot be ignored by other investors.
Reflecting back on last year 17% return and finally “some” liquidly I feel more confident than ever. I know I will sell CAPC again @ 19.9 cents (pre-reverse split- $2.99).
Good luck to all the longs….I do believe will not have to wait much longer.
I ordered it on AMZN Prime (6 left. More on the way in bold). I should get it tomorrow. The install should be about a week or so (that is what the contractor said...lol). I will give you guys an update. I am quite frustrated at this point with the stock price. It should be preforming much better. I've been through this before. However, I have had more meaningful info from management. Years ago I had a conversation with Stu re: CAPC when I got the "letter" that went out to major shareholders. He assured me that I was in a much better hands under his watch than Howard's. This is very true on paper (this is a real company w/earnings). However, now that my cost basis is underwater I would like him to prove it to me. I am still wondering if the possible threat of Chinese Tariff's is effecting the price. Either way, time for a press release. I will make one more purchase in Jan. After that I will make a decision on the entire position. You will know if I dump. Hope it doesn't come to that. I do like the space...LED lighting
I attempted to call Capstone today (investor relations) ext 313. No answer and the mail box is full!
No wonder we have no new investors.
Did anyone watch "Shark Tank"? They were talking about how hard it is to get products into the big box warehouse's. They said it is a monumental project. Good news for us.
I am remodeling a bathroom in my house and ordered the the new vanity light from CAPC. I will give an update when it is installed (kids bathroom).
To put it into the most simple terms...I don't get it.
This one amazes me. The fundamentals of this stock are solid. An Improving balance sheet. EPS of 3 cents. Working channels of distribution. Profitable/new and exciting products that are well received/solid management and a growing company.
Why is the stock not performing like it should..( it has short term). My take is; we need more quarters of profitability and exposure to the international market place. Other thoughts are consumers are fickle. A darling today- a has-been tomorrow. Also concerning is the age of management. No spring chicken's here. Also this is controlled company( dictatorship). If we don't like the calls...not much we can do. Will all that said I am long the stock and do like the products and are looking forward to the future and the latest and greatest products soon to be launched.
I figure we have 75 days or so till us really see the move we hope will come.
And if not: this next quarter possibly one more after that.
If I don’t see a real move I will add to my position in a big way (if the fundamentals don't change).
I am sure I am not the only 1%er here.
Gla
Rumors= Orange Jump Suits. Don't like either.
took out .49
Ok... I swore I was not going to add to this position. However, I did buy more today!
Hope I made the right move!
Any thoughts on today's results and how this may effect our company?
Is anyone worried about Donald Trump winning and putting tariffs on Capstone's Products?
No Publicist needed. I reiterate, the numbers are the bottom line.
A clean balance sheet, solid earnings and profitability will drive the stock price. Capc is on track to accomplish all of the above.
Eventually you/I will all get paid.
Possibly a radical change? Use income from from this quarter and make a deal or purchase a U.S. manufacturing plant.
With "make America great again theme" so pervasive, why not.
Increase the cost of production a bit. Be in favor of American values and customers will come in droves.
Everyone wants to make a buck, but at what cost. It might sound politically driven, however this is not my intention. Especially since I'm not a fan of Trump. He has hit a nerve with a lot of folks. Nearly every week ABC news does another profile of an American manufacturing company. How wonderful would it be if it was Capstone Companies. I for one would be proud of a "made in America" stamp on Capstone product.
With new tax incentives form New York state (by the way a huge chip manufacturing company just located there) it might be worth looking into.
We changed the name of China Direct. Maybe it's time to change some other things.
With that might come more investors.
This is the type of growth we wanted!
It's only a matter of time. One more quarter for the year end to show continued growth and profitability.
To the long term shareholders. Pay day is not too far away.
Congrats to management on a job well done.
well maybe they have a CHDT generator?
that will keep the lights on!
loosing patience with this one.
Potential news?
Capstone Industries announces that their company is poised to capitalize from the imminent hurricane.
The forecast models show the potential of hitting the east coast with significance.
Now, Mr. Walach...what's wrong with that press release.
ANYTHING!
RDV...Excellent post...I'm in on that bet. It shows that we have skin in the game.
Don't worry CAPC will pay you not the poster.
for myself...I owned ILDC and held it for a tax loss. Howard Ulman bought the shell of ILDC and it became I think CHDT? And wham I owned a couple hundred thousand shares over night. Then accumulated when new management came on board. By the way I did get the "letter". And those larger share holders all did, I believe.
Still holding and no sells down here.
This should be the spike. Volume needs to continue.
you are wrong about the bank.
ILDC is way before capc-cbqi-chdo and maybe other ticker symbols. Bottom line CAPC is a totally different company than the key chains from china. We are a legit company, no hype, just a continuing track record of making $'s.
Good to see new blood on the board. I also am coming out from my once a year post.
"The Radar"... is the game. It all comes down to the numbers. The numbers speak for themselves. CAPC is growing by leaps and bounds and has a low PE. THE stock price is unbalanced. THis is a company I want to own. Sooner than later the street will notice. Too many sharks fishing in OTCQB Venture Market. Let the price fall. All great buys! That's how you get rich. How many public companies do you know that went up by thousands %. We can all name a few off the top of our heads. CAPC's Business model solid.-LED lighting.-long time relationships with the best big box stores (Costco...COST had less traffic last quarter and is still trading near record highs, despite weak markets)
Not sure why anyone would be selling @ these prices. Any guesses?
I have posted before usually once a year. I did post under traderbbc . I have read every message posted on this board for years. ILDC was a shell corp. that Howard Ulman bought. It actively traded one day and I have followed the company since. My defunct tax loss all of a sudden became $'s. Then I bought into it when it looked like a couple of ideas might work. Cheap china goods with high profit margins-roof tiles-generators- partnerships and so on.
Now we have a real company, great earnings and no volume. Numbers in the end will speak. Someone will eventually see the our jewel soon enough.
Good luck to all
I am not a new investor. I have owned this stock since the beginning of time. ILDC...CHDO...CHDT...CAPCD...CAPCD-did i miss any? And by the way I did make a trade at .199 I wish i sold all my shares when it hit that price-The was "generator-hurricain" trading in South FLA.
I would like management to spell out clearly how much they intend to take out in salary and other incentives.
If they sell any shares it will cream the stock (also an appearance they have little confidence in the stock to other investors, even if they just want a little cash).
Either way I am looking for more transparency from Stu and Co.
I repeat I like the numbers and love the industry. Cutting edge products, business model that's working, but stock price not preforming.
Just lamenting!
I'm not sure why CAPC is not trading higher. All signals say we should be much higher.
Is it because management is in control of the reigns?
Can Stu and Co. give themselves raises whenever they want? I know as a new investor or institution will look a controlled company a little different.
Any thoughts?
OK... time for what was my yearly post a bit early.
IMO the next few months is going to be the most exciting time for CAPC. So much is going on. Products that people need and want are here and selling. The right price- right place-right time (LED and power failure). Management has the right connections.
Plain and simple the numbers will speak for themselves. When quarter over quarter---year over year profits add up all the belly aching will be a thing of the past.
I for one who owned this as ILDC/CHDO/CHDT/CAPC did I miss others?
Have been fortunate to pull profits years ago. I have been following this small company though years with many ups and downs. This is the beginning of the move we all wanted. Can't wait to see the numbers and (god forbid) real guidance.
Let's face it...It all boils down to the $'s CAPC makes at the end of the day.
The stock will move with the volume and we need to see a lot more,
