Nope, here's what we know. Cannabix hasn't completed testing of FAIMS. You know why... they stated directly that testing is ongoing with FAIMS. If it was done, do you know what they would say...?
This:
They did pump the share price. That's how it more than tripled in the past few months, undeservedly. It's not worth it's current value. And yes, management has cashed in on the pump...
Management cashing in. They claimed the prototype was done months ago, but there is still no trial? Thought everyone said trial would be happening so soon... yet here we are!!
I asked a question asking what the board thinks management is up to. I didn't state anything that would require your assessment of credibility.
Given that management tends to post news release after news release in short time frames, then leaves shareholders in the dark for months on end... is it really?
Based on all of the posts I have read recently, nobody here knows what's going on.
Something to keep us entertained with such low volume trading!
That's actually quite, now we just need it to be updated.
Is anybody concerned Cannabix management has moved on to other projects...?
We will be getting news about a new lab for testing apparently... won't be low volume for long.
Probably will remain low volume until we get this next update
Need to pay attention to both blo and bth to stay informed given they are working on one device . That being said they have just released news of a second version of faims on the sister update. Big things coming in 2-3 weeks.
Version 2 of FAIMS, here we come. Not to mention, they are clearly going to drop news of "new initiatives" in the next 2-3 weeks. Here we go.
As for Na-NOSE. The technology has been proven to work. Now they work out the kinks.
If the company decided to discontinue, they would legally be required to inform shareholders in the release. They literally just released the update stating they are still working on it.
They built a new lab. get ready for take off.
Yes there is. Shoot them an email. Or just read the following:
MRSA detection alone via Na-NOSE could be worth billions. Let alone influenza.
Very good point. Management has assembled an all star cast. Yost and Haick are world leaders in their respective fields, of course overlapping in expertise with regards to miniature detection systems.
If Breathtec(h) licenses Sniffphone, things are going to heat up.
That's impressive stuff. Haick has consistently demonstrated he's leading the field in Nanotechnology. I think we have something special in his Breathtec(h) association.
If the company has something to do with Sniffphone, we as investors should be getting a formal news release (considered a material advance...)
I'm confused. Who owns SniffPhone and how does Na-NOSE get licensed to Breathtec(h) and also to SniffPhone? Or does Breathtec also have Sniffphone rights?
Given how long it's been since last news release, I would anticipate the share price to start creeping. When they drop news of their trial... look out.
Big week ahead. Hopefully some news regarding Faims advances.
Roger that. The science has been proven, funded, and government approval in the form of clinical trials speaks volume.
liquidity is going to be an issue with infrequent news releases. However, trend starts, volumes follows.
On a side note, the chart doesn't lie folks. Going to end the week strong and the chart will set the stage for a great next week.
I enjoy your posts. Admittedly, I just don't understand why it matters what the spelling of the companies name is.
I just don't understand what you are getting at
I would err on the side of caution in accrediting this simple addition of a letter to a management team that negates spelling properly in their emails (I.e. known for slang). Who cares anyway? There technology is infinitely complex (Haick and Yost are beasts). One of which is known to actually work.
Stock is coming out of oversold tomorrow and should bring gains early next week. Candlestick (daily) chart shows it's leveling out.
BLO chart does look quite nice and the I second your comment regarding consolidation. Sister company Breathtec is way oversold and has on the daily candlestick chart, it looks good. RSI is 16. One more green or neutral day and should see MACD converge.
Both companies should finish the week strong and next week will begin the upward journey.
Lol, while I am flattered you enjoyed my post, I would not recommend going to that extent aha.
Always be ready. Keep your eyes on the prize. I personally like the concepts of tradition, habit, and realize that often in the stock market they cannot be applied, unless under certain circumstances. This company is a unique exception. It has proven incredibly useful to watch trends. This company can only generate so much news at a given time. It's not their fault. They do some research, it takes time, they get a result, and they release. Paying close attention to news release wording and each fine detail, along with the sechdule of the releases, tells you exactly what they are planning and trying to do.
They got the share price to hold up in the 80's. The sister is in the 20's. Neither company has discuss FAIMS in a while.
everyone do their homework -> what type of investor are you? Invest based on reason, rationale, science, fear, worry, habit, tradition, the list goes on?
Last two years have brought big gains Feb-April. Keep and eye on BTH for massive gains. Keep an eye on BLO for further security and likely further gains.
Ask. What is their to lose? At this point, the risk of them dropping the share price is higher on BLO, than it is on BTH, however, it's still low risk. Why, because the science is there.
Peace to all. Let's make some $.
Great conference, attending has shown affect on share price
Timeline is a fundamental concept that underpins the investment decisions we make on a daily basis, so perhaps it's best to say that I will not comment on it for the time being.
Most investors are neurotic and conscientious. They dislike fear. There is much to be fearful of here, as management has hurt investors in the past, their is much liquidity and we have no guarantees investing in an instrument which has yet to be even tested and the science is so complex that the success of the instrument is like hitting the lotto. These investors are more likely to invest in short term spikes.
Other investors are agreeable and closed. They prefer tradition. They understand that this stock fluctuates over the time course of months. And in the past, after the company pumps the stock on poor, vague and indescript news, they let it slowly fall over months. Those investors ride the wave, then get out and let it trickle.
Where do you fall? You seem rational. I think I know.
Companies must report to shareholders (re: BTH), I will leave it to the other board. But...
There is no point in dwelling on negatives. If we don't see eye to eye on the timeline, I am willing to move on to another conversation. I have been here long enough to know that people don't want to see that. I still think being a realist is important, but I will leave it at that.
As for the undervalued remark... that is definitely true. A company with a clinical trial on a government approved device that has received millions in funding and has proven efficacy in numerous research trials is worth far more than what the share price currently trades at (0.235 BTH), however, liquidity is the big factor. Longs are holding and waiting.
As for BLO, again, liquidity is our friend, it got us to 0.80 cents on hardly any worthy news. However, as we have seen in the past, if management neglects us (as they have done this time of year in the past), then it's risky to hold.
The question becomes, what do we get next? What will management offer us on either company?
BTH has potential to double it's share price on little extra news (as success if demonstrated and trials are secured). BLO, is behind in development stages (comparatively), so it's less likely to explode.
Thoughts?
There's no need to bring psychiatry into the equation. The equation is far simpler than that. Discrepancy in reality and the hypothetical floundering.
Timeline is key to our financial success that awaits. Timeline is being inaccurately depicted on the sister board. No expert opinion needed to correct it. Just realism, which most dislike.
Haick has tested and proven the Na-NOSE technology to work for the detection of many important compounds linked to disease states. Diseases that receive health care funding in the billions and billions, with poor front-line, high sensitivity detection tools.
Haick has literally handed management the golden ticket.
Nobody said they have completed testing. Nobody in the game is close to COMPLETING testing.
Cannabix is probably 5-10 years from market. Breathtec is probably 2-3 years from market. Hound Labs, well, it's uncertain, but they could be 2-3 years as well.
Fact of the matter is that only Breathtec is performing a government registered clinical trial on a device that has been proven successful in several major research studies that have been published.
The following is direct from their website. The type of testing described below is not quite as far ahead as Breathtec may be with their government approved clinical trial, however, they are farther ahead than Cannabix given that they have been testing on human subjects in the field. They said they would have large pilot programs running in 2016. It's 2017, so... might be worth emailing them.
"For the last 6 months, we’ve been testing human subjects and conducting rigorous testing in our engineering lab.
We have been testing the Hound™ breathalyzer for several months and have verified it functions well in the field and that law enforcement officers can easily capture breath from suspected drivers.
Right now, there are far more law enforcement agencies interested in testing our prototype than we can support. We will be doing larger pilot programs with select agencies later in 2016, and if it’s mutually agreeable, we’ll announce some of our other testing partners at that time. In the interim, we are consulting with law enforcement agencies around the country about feature sets and device specifications.
Another learning has been the excitement officers have shown in testing the device."
