Thanks Art-Hope its more than just the standard fluff. Apreciate the efforts.
Bet you a share that Starcrest will be bidding!! eom
Lets hear it Dane! You like dishing it out-lets see if you can take it. LOL. Welcome back anyway. eom
Hope he is correct-I guess my point is that nothing has ever gone according to plan with this company. I will just have to wait patiently like the rest of us.
NOONE can predict how a company will trade. Why .80? Why not .70 or $1.05? With a known buy-in/out number, you can get a better idea. Otherwise impossible to predict, especially with this co.
But WHEN man!! WHEN!!!! LOL eom
CVX will divulge its findings when it best suits them. If they are trying to add to their JDZ portfolio, they will not make any major announcements until they are satisfied that their objectives are satisfied.
You mean block 3. eom
Tryoty-I'm not a board expert, and I remain on the fence about Oilphant (I do think he has access though to info), the criticism of Oilphant is more directed to the non-occurrence of events he has stated would take place-not pps related. Also, I think most believe if ERHC still exists in a number of years, that Umbra may not be very far off. JMHO
Interesting Oilphant. Any clue on part 5? And any update on the timing of events that you had said would come to pass last week? Thanks again.
Sounds like Dick Cheney may be our new CEO. LOL EOM
I'm betting all the partners had to give up a little to secure a rig. Some feel its strictly the oerators responsability, but given the shortage of deepwater rigs, I'm betting even ERHC gave up a little.
tHANK YOU. EOM
Do Repeat. Do repeat. Thank you for replying and it is nice to know that you have had input from PN, if only in the past. Don't agree about E and anger, but thats neither here nor there.
Thanks again
And why would you think PN or E would be inclined to share confidential info and make it public? That was a silly post Umbra imo. If you know that these people have positive info that woud send "shivers" down our spine, Then YOU ALSO must know the info. So why don't YOU share the info with us Umbra? And please don't say your post was only your opinion.
Thank you
I too am dissappointed that non of Oilphants statements came to pass this week. I am equally dissappointed that he has chosen to remain silent. I am still willing to give him a little more slack though. I think Oilphant posts what ever he hears, whether it is directly about ERHC or whether it is about other companies or events related to the JDZ. He posts in the abstract and supplies little pieces of a large puzzle and thus things often appear very dis-jointed. Just musing.
I feel so dirty!! eom
Oilphant-any follow-up to your "5 min eod" post? Thanks. eom
hope yr right. would have expected more vol if true. thx eom
And why would the news be odd? WHEN, WHEN, WHEN!!!eom
Its all about the WHEN Oilphant. EOM
Thank you. eom
Can't figure why they didn't lay it out clearer. eom
Could one of our resident geniuses pls interpret this? Thanks. eom

LMAO. EOM
TS-They can buy SEO's shares directly from SEO w/o involving us commoners. The issue is more about management and control of the co. Accordingly, reducing SEO's % ownership of the co is the keystone to any deal.
She grew! lol eom
You can say that again. IMO, down the road this will be seen as one of the biggest blunders in oil history. They probably even had a crack at ERHC when Tirman had control but were too arrogant to think they needed to pay for anything. With said, I hope they buy us out for $6/share. LOL
Oh Yeah, forgot about that. lol eom
Walldog-suppose they would have to cancell other blks, ie, 5 and 6. The 40% rule would no longer apply.
A: They don't want to go to jail. eom
All-before I get jumped on, I asked Oilphant for a riddle explaining his "seo Branching out" post. eom
Thank you sir. eom
If there is a new owner of more than 5% there must be an SEC disclosure. eom
FRANCE/INDIA
Total-Mittal Alliance in Africa
Talks between Total and ONGC-Mittal in Nigeria that were reported in the Indian press in mid-December form part of a broader partnership on the continent between the Indian oil company and the French major. ONGC Mittal is seeking to bring Total into OPL 209 and 212 which it was awarded last year in the latest licensing round in Nigeria’s offshore. But Africa Energy Intelligence understands the two groups agreed last June to jointly seek licenses elsewhere in Africa as well. The pact, which was negotiated at a moment when Mittal Steel was still fighting its takeover battle for the French steel group Arcelor, was seen by Lakshmi Mittal as a way of striking a new power balance within ONGC Mittal. To be sure, relations are difficult between executives of the two groups. The bosses of the state-owned ONGC see ONGC Mittal as a potential rival while the Mittal Group itself is a power in its own right in Africa as elsewhere. As for Total, the agreement allows it to profit indirectly from ONGC Mittal’s strategy in Africa which is less restrictive than that of an entirely private concern. The Indian JV, like state-owned Chinese oil companies, has won permits in Nigeria in return for promising to invest in the country. Even before talks began on bringing Total into the development phase on OPL 209 and OPL 212 in Nigeria, the Total-ONGC Mittal agreement had already borne fruit. In October, ONGC Mittal was awarded exploration zones in the former OPL 246 where Total operates the Akpo field. Thanks to its tie-up with Mittal, Total remains indirectly present in the area which is potentially very rich in oil. As for ONGC Mittal, which offered $100 million for the acreage, it will profit from Total’s expertise in the zone. Elsewhere, the operation led to the Nigerian group South Atlantic headed by former defense minister Theophilus Danjuma - long an ally of Total - being elbowed out of the acreage. In addition to Nigeria, Total and ONGC Mittal could team up in Algeria, where Mittal Steel is actively expanding its operations.
The only way. The Classic. eom
Little EZ-Its ok to "go for it" but try not to drive your dad to crazy. lol Us dads can't help but worry about our daughters.
