I am going to try to communicate with Tyler Burns at Tweed to find out as soon as possible the opening day of that facility.
Hopefully Oct 17, this would be nice
is that the day, do we finally have a day?
October 17th
Wednesday in autumn, perfect.....getting cold then, hotel instead of camping.....
now all I need is confirmation that on October 17th the Tweed production facility and gift shop at the St. John's facility will be operational....
a vacation for cannabis, paid for by cannabis....
stock investing kinda makes me feel like this
i am happy because today cannabis is a lot closer to be legal, YAY!
I know, right now all I feel I do is wait.....my girls are like 27 and 13 months old, can`t really do anything with them they would remember.....
I was never into cars, I absolutely LOVE the RAV4, because I never had anything so nice in my life...I believe the base Model 3 might be one of the best values out there for a commuter car (when they start producing them), I just worry about the super cold weather where I live, maybe not the best car for where I live.....eventually I will need to replace the Corolla, but probably best to replace it with another used Corolla....it would be such a waste to drive a $35,000 USD car off the lot and into the snow and salt on the roads of rural Québec.....
i should really just take a trip to California and rent a Model x for a week or so, that would be fun
sometimes the best thing to do is just take a big walk and buy the girls ice cream.....i got everything i need and want for now,
my wife is an entrepreneur, I joked about renting her business with my money and shutting it down so we could hang out more....but she is addicted to work - for her it is the work she is after, not the money, so I don`t know what to do with the money
It is nice to have what you want, to want what you have, but have this optionality for more, to change your mind or upgrade....if this is what wealth is, I like it....
to me having the option of more has value in and of its self, it is nice to worry about how to best spend money instead of worrying about how to get the basic stuff you feel you need with the money you have....
congrats to everyone, gonna open at an all time high today
well whatever you buy is going to look bunk compared to the second generation Roadster - congrats on the success though - it is amazing to have that kind of money....
I still can`t wrap my head around the fact I could do just about anything that money can buy....not indefinitely but at least once....i could buy a super car but it would set me back to zero - but i could do it if I really needed to
i could charter a jet or a boat, could take multiple vacations anywhere in the world.....it trips me out
my pleasure, i wish someone came to me offering to pay me to hold onto shares I am already planning to hold onto - schiiiiiiiiiiit
Tesla is still a hard sell for a lot of people, they are still very expensive, in a few years though, they will be all over the place, new and used
I want one too, but buying a slightly used ICE car is still so much cheaper....
I got a Toyota Rav4 as a nice family car and I am very happy with it, of course I would rather have a Model X but it costs 5 times as much....
still, if you are getting an actual car, can`t go wrong with a Model 3, thousands of people a week buy that car before having ever having a test drive....there is a waiting list
Base Model 3 will probably be the best value on the planet, depending on fuel prices and resale values holding up
If you have a plan to hold onto the shares for an extended period of time, why not take some money on the side - that improves your overall ROI - and ROI is the only thing that matters....every little bit helps, it compounds over time, small regular differences can compound to massive differences.
if you will definitely be holding your shares, why not take the extra money......
participate for sure....just my opinion on the subject
Sorry, think I read the Neptune press release first, it wasnt the version with Mark zekulin quote.....it looked fake to me, don't bother, I know it is real news and good news, it is real good news
What's this thing with Neptune, is that real because it doesn't look like something CGC would do
I'm not that interested anymore, I have kind of given up on trying to know everything that is going on with CGC and Canada cannabis, but it seems that the Senate is being a super pain in the arse, and the next big issue is whether the Senate passes this thing by Friday or not
I got to wait for the Model Y, and I don't want one of the first ones they make either, so it is still years away......and my girls are still so young....but in maybe 3 years me and my family will be electric cruising with money in the bank for sure.
So what is the deal, will I be able to homegrown in Quebec or what?
They gonna legalize it this summer or what?
CGC is fully funded, and they got a fat bag of weed to sell, for sure.....
But right now legalization has a feel of stalling right now, and the valuations and the money floating around this industry is fierce, I just have this feeling right now that the next month or so there won't be any movement on legalization, our stock will suffer.
I am diversified with TSLA and I am glad for that for sure
When I visualize what true world peace would mean, it would be devastating to the value of a corporation like Canopy Growth....my bet on CGC is more a bet that corporations and governments will continue as is...
There is no peace when someone like awesome sound is a criminal when all he wants to do is grow a plant and sell some to his neighbor...everywhere is war, everywhere. Millions of people live in prison, political and financial refugees roam our planet looking for a place to survive, Canopy Growth Corp is an organization poised to help governments exploit the basic desires of their own populations to pay back the bond holders....
It is all a racket, CGC is better than most I suppose, but it is designed to make us money, not to help the world
I can visualize peas, I am not sure what you mean by whirled, like in a blender? I am very sure that today's news is extremely good, there is no immediate dilution and the rate is good....I got a good chunk of weed left and I am not letting any of it go this summer, so I want to see it so good
First real debt financing for any cannabis corporation, large amount, good terms, I love it!
So just so I understand this correctly, if CGC performs very well with this new capital, and it makes lots of money and the stock price goes up, if CGC can get more money, it is possible it can refinance all of this later without converting into shares, by paying cash? Just paying the interest?
Could this be the end of significant dilution? Will it lead to more dilution?
i love my Tesla!!!!! This is all insane, capitalism is insane!!!! There has got to be a better way, that is all I got to say, go weed
just sitting here on my TSLA stock and my weed stock, making money damn near every day, i make it faster than I can spend it, lol
Justin Trudeau is ridiculously handsome we all know this, but other than that what does this guy do that is any good? He went in talking Senate reform and he just got a four month spanking by the Senate. He bought a pipeline, oh my god that was so stupid
leave that dirty shite in the ground where you found it you handsome devil!
oh I am well aware it needs to grow into its market cap. Especially in sales but yes legalization will be sometime in the future, we know....
been here now for 3 and a half years talking about legalization.
Also, do you think there could be a slowdown for medical cannabis when cannabis becomes legal. I read somewhere that the government has an issue with the a Senate amendment allowing provinces to ban homevgrow. If people could legally home grow it at their house pretty soon, lets say they think it will be legal this summer like JT said, although I am quite sure it won't be.....but whatever, lets assume it is....there will be people, including my wife actually, that don't want to bother going to and paying a special doctor to get a cannabis prescription when it should be legal this summer.
I am getting sick of this crap, it should have been legal yesterday has always been my opinion on the subject - let me do what I want you facks
if we are generous and put sales at 100 million annual, Canopy Growth Corp is only trading at 80x sales....
if Canopy Growth Corp somehow found a robot to do all the work, fired everyone - if somehow there was zero cost to doing business or growing buds, if they stopped making investments, if they could get away with paying no taxes - if they could get to zero marginal costs, zero expenses
if they could grow 100 million a year in buds for free and sell it with no costs - they would make $100 million profit - remember in this scenario the government is okay with letting us keep all of it
then this investment would have an 80 year payback - would take 80 years for them to earn back the market cap
Yeah, it's legal, but it ain't a hundred percent legal. I mean, you can't walk into a restaurant, roll a joint and start puffing away. You're only supposed to smoke in your home or certain designated places.
It breaks down like this: it's legal to buy it, it's legal to own it, and if you're the proprietor of a hash bar, it's legal to sell it. It's legal to carry it, but that doesn't really matter 'cause get a load of this, all right? If you get stopped by the cops in Canada, it's illegal for them to search you. I mean, that's a right the cops in Canada don't have.
This legalization created many billions in investor profit already, spending the last few years grow from 2 to 40....
Imagine watching a $20 bill you don't feel the need to spend turn I to four hundos while you go about your business of living.
There is more than one way to get high, smoking weed is cool but nothing beats making a few thousand bucks before you finish your coffee in the morning, that get me doped up better than anything you can smoke.
Bedrocan got its nuts clipped and they thought they were taking on a junior partner or something.....Bedrocan is not allowed in the western hemisphere by order of Bruce Linton
Normally I wouldn't have a problem with that, but at this very moment I am sitting next to two refugees from Syria who are learning French in exchange for a government payout and I am watching Tesla make me thousands of dollars a day and I can't help but think something is very wrong and I don't know how to even begin to fix it
Maybe a financial literacy website devoted to educating everyone on the basic concepts of compounding interest, a guide.to self directed index investing, I don't know...
Anyone have the issue of feeling incredible about making a lot of money but frustrated there is no cool polite way to brag about it. I tell people I make money on the 'internet' but I feel stupid when I say I make my money trading stock.
I guess it feels like a successful thing, like something one should only obtain through hard work and sacrifice....when really I made my money through a combination of pure luck and a bit of irresponsibility.
I feel I don't deserve it, like telling someone I trade stock is synonymous with telling someone I Rob banks for a living
When they said patients first, it is obviously implied that investors come first and getting at least $8.50 per gram for the bud we grow is ultimately the most important consideration....but really we want the patient to feel included....they are a vital to the goal of making money after all
No, I think we are getting bamboozled
If one of my little girls needed something and someone was getting in the way.......we inherited and perpetuate a system with no soul, people following policies and procedures even to the point where they threaten the life of a child - it is outrageous, the way I feel is that woman would be justified doing anything short of murder to get that oil, she may notice have known the right way to go about it, fack, when are people going to wake up! You are responsible, if a rule or procedure says you need to take away medicine from a child, you don't do it. Everything has gotten so abstract, I bet you the person that decided to take that medicine doesn't even feel he did anything, just acted his part in some big stupid machine.
another way to put it, CGC sold 71% of the corporation to private investors, it started with our name, our employees - when it started its main value was that it was associated directly with Canopy Growth corporation, they sold out shares to private investors
I just didn't like that move, you are a public corporation - and what that means is my shares are every bit as good as your shares - equity in the corporation....so if you take a fat slice of our potential business activity and put it into a separate private corporation and dilute our ownership of it - sell off 71% of it.....
Canopy Rivers was created in some meeting room on paper, it was a artificially generated middle man created to use our reputation and our access to a cannabis market and leverage that into a specialty finance operation and they sold it off to private insiders cheap.
Think of the business plan - use CGC reputation to raise money, lend money to cannabis operation in exchange for cannabis, sell the cannabis to CGC -
why is that a separate company? Because that 71% got sold off cheap, it is not a separate corporation to create value, it is a separate corporation to transfer value.
I will not invest in mediation instruction website....I did extremely good at the beginning of my investment career, for the remainder of my investment career my main concern will be to take no losses
I like where my money is right now, TSLA and WEED in that order, I know for sure WEED is going to have a good next ten years, but I feel like it got too valuable too fast - the entire industry, and I believe that WEED is by far the best stock where cannabis stocks are concerned, but it can grow into an $8 billion dollar valuation over the next two years while internationally cannabis legalization stalls.....
I hold on to my WEED just in case some crazy scenarios that I hear here come about - like if $67 happens sometime this year, I will probably sell the rest of what I got before then
I think Tesla is the best value, but who knows - its pure speculation
I love capitalism, days like today, this is all too sick
September sounds like not summer, in Canada we take what we can get, and September is a decent month but not exactly summer, so maybe autumn......these legislative people are some real assclowns, thier one purpose is to make laws that people want to live by and it is taking them literally decades to fix a seemingly small issue they should have never gotten involved with in the first place - it is almost as if these people are trying to screw over the people they serve
I can`t believe that this summer cannabis is going to be legalized and it isn`t even the greatest potential for societal change coming (the world is going all electric, the electron economy is upon us....it is all just too incredible when I stop to think about it.....we are changing the world with our capital, it is beautiful
In cannabis the only good company is Tweed, but there is a better stock out there right now besides CGC - right now it is better to own Tesla stock - i got a little diversification going on where I own both, but I wish I dumped all my WEED for Tesla
I don't believe in it, if it isn't Tweed it is not weed
I will not educate myself, GW Pharma is poop
