64% BUT...
BIG A$$ OFFSET WHEN WE CASH IN!
I am The Goods biiiitchez!
Yes, I know. I'm awesome.
Will be buying, selling and buying again soon.
Oh, btw, I am gonna pat myself on the back for once...
how long have I been saying FDA clearance would not be a slam-dunk? Anyone? BUELLER?
I'll remind you... it's been since Geo2014 has been on this board - 2 0 1 4 !
Do you remember me saying that Lefty Golf Pro? Do you????
It is what I do daily... I assist sponsors in getting their drugs and devices through clinical trials. IT IS NEVER A SLAM DUNK! FDA is thorough and both drugs and devices are getting tougher, not easier to push through to approval. Lots of "i's to dot and t's to cross" in this industry.
You're welcome!
I missed the AGM due to work priorities. Did SmallNoz bombard them questions? :D
Looks like I was wrong about a RS being approved WHICH IS FINE BY ME! But now, if a milestone announcement doesn't get us over a buck and stay there for 10 consecutive days, buh-bye NASDAQ.
Will buy a few more shares after Wash-sale requirements are met next week. May see this languish for awhile. Nothing new!
So do we get diluted with another raise anytime soon?
That's the head scratcher for sure! I think we should be at $3 as well. We were at ~$2.50 (~$75 per share post RS) with roughly 100 mil OS in the summer of 2014. And we were not as close to the finish line as we are now.
And to your first point, how often do you see a sub $1 stock (possibly back on the OTC) acquired for more than $1 billion? I realize
.75 to $10 is the same as $7.50 to $100. But a little easier to manage mentally if we are on the NASDAQ.
And Livendi, I hope we get more than $1 bil. Just saying I'm pretty confident we ARE NOT GETTING $9 - $10 bil
It's not uncommon to consolidate shares before a MA. After a 1:10 RS, a 1-for-1 stock transfer actually makes a little bit more sense. The people that think a 1-for-1 will happen at the current OS count are extremely clueless. Currently that would be a minimum of a $9 bil buyout price. Good luck!
But I agree with you as well, they may NEED to RS if this thing languishes under $1 going into 2021. I am mildly shocked we aren't in the .80s or 90s with the AGM tomorrow. If we stay here in low to mid 70s, the milestone announcement may not even get us to a buck. If it does, it certainly will not stay there without additional news.
Yet if one simply types "prototype software" into his/her search engine one will find plenty of hits including...
"Software prototyping is the activity of creating prototypes of software applications, i.e., incomplete versions of the software program being developed. It is an activity that can occur in software development and is comparable to prototyping as known from other fields, such as mechanical engineering or manufacturing."
There will be another RS eventually, but I believe it is consolidation at the request of MDT.
Fattycomb better speak out during the call or he will prove to be the biggest Helen on iHub.
It will pass.
Oh ya, that's why he did it.
FDA announcement???
About what?
No AGM pump?
Actually no I'm not because that is what I should've been doing for the last 6 years!
There will be an uptick this week and next. They want cheaper shares. Gotta believe they're still plan'n to flip some shares.
You used to say the same thing about John Hargrove. Haven't seen him on the speaking circuit yet though.
True. What leads you to believe that will happen?
I think they may announce next week as well. I am holding off though - and we will see some quick upward movement next week. For sure there will be some new long term shares purchased but Shorts will be the ones really push'n it up as usual, then a slow sell off from mid to late October through December, based on little news and tax selling. Things will heat up again in January. Hopefully we will be able to avoid a RS by the deadline in February. I think the RS will be approved so that will be over our heads until the next milestone.
I have no need to buy back. I have 80k shares. If it goes up and doesnt come back down, I'm cool with it. I want my big capital offset. I have other stocks I plan to cash in after the election and need the offset on my gains.
I do too. But i think we go up (~$1) on milestone pump, then dip again before Q1 2021.
You didn't wait the 30 days huh? Depending on what your capital loss was on the shares you sold, you just wiped out a ton of $.
I do too... post RS #2.
Doesn't seem to be much faith that the AGM will bring much positive news. Certainly hoping that is not the case.
Stated before, I don't care whether there is a RS or not. My concern is a raise. I get that you don't think there will be one. But you probably won't want to come back to this board if there is.
"States why it is on there..."
Yes it sure does.
The verbiage is very similar to the verbiage from 2017-2018. Only difference is that Titan wanted to uplist to NASDAQ. This time they want to keep from being de-listed from NASDAQ.
I'm sensing a Titan RS is just one of several "house-keeping" items MDT would like to have happen before a buyout. If there isn't an additional influx of $ from Medtronic outside of the current deal, OR, milestones are not met, a raise will need to occur. Additionally, of course, a raise will not be needed IF a buyout actually occurs by Q2 or Q3 2021.
I guess the pENOS rollout was kind of a dud! Which is what Honeycomb's ex says about his pENOS rollout!!
I scooped in the $2.30's in Summer 2014. That is roughly $70 post RS / dilution today. And Roll gets anxious when people take Titan's history into account.
Tic Toc
I'm not denying that it may happen. I certainly hope it finally does. But insinuating that long term investors are over-reacting by taking TMDI's history into account is ridiculous.
But you shouldn't live in the past Mag!
Roll says you should not let a long unimpressive history cloud your judgement.
Tic Toc
Noz should tell him exactly that during the AGM. I am looking forward to hearing Noz step up to the plate and not be a Helen.
Noz, everyone gets it. We have voted NO. Move on!
Thanks and I agree. I cringe every time I buy more to average down. I feel like I am shoveling money into a black hole.
Hate to say it, I do actually agree with you IF IN FACT they are planning a raise.
I'd much rather see a raise conducted at $5 to $6 than at .30 to .40.
BUT IF THIS THING IS GETTING ACQUIRED THERE BETTER NOT BE A F'N RAISE - PERIOD!
I'm am pretty sure the RS will be approved.
Noz throw'n tantrums over on StockTw@ts.
Come to think of it, he is a StockTw@t!
Monk makes sense!
A RS WITHOUT a raise won't matter one way or another. So if that happens, I am okay with a RS. It was the raise AFTER the RS that did the damage last time.
With that said, I voted NO on all measures this morning.
MDT may actually welcome a consolidation of shares before a buyout anyway. Many here keep talking about a 1-for-1 stock buyout scenario. THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN AT TITAN'S CURRENT OS LEVEL (we would need a ~$10 billion buyout). But it certainly is a possibility if Titan's OS level is down around 10 to 12 million (~$1 billion to $2 billion buyout).
We have always maintained "it's all about the patents" on this board. I still believe that. But that does not excuse management for the way they've treated stakeholders.
I'm back down to under $3 and will cost average even more as the dust settles over the next few weeks.
I think you are most likely right about that BUT more support from MDT comes with conditions (milestones) to be met. Titan has a VERY POOR track record in meeting milestones. Perhaps these conditions are related to additional patent approvals? But timing on those is not guaranteed AND we don't know what the milestones are so we cannot assume this to even be the case. So, if milestones are not met, count on a RS and a raise because, short of a buyout, that is the only other scenario where Titan gets additional funding.
I'm sure you've heard the saying "fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me." Well we are WAY past "fool me twice" when it comes to Titan management.
That makes more sense. Explains why you are at a $4 cost basis. If you had shares before the RS and never bought more after the RS, your cost basis would be much higher. I think mine was around $27 after the RS until I started buying more.
Just FYI...
You would have needed 30,000 shares to split to 1000 shares after the first RS.
