Again, questioning the motives of an investor who has remained long in the stock. I have no ulterior motives and come here for information and to try to understand where things are at. I am recently retired as a senior executive of one bank, the same bank, for 34 years. Someone's head would have rolled with the lost backlog at my former job, and deservedly so. Instead, that guy's promoted to the second president. I don't get that and I'm really not OK with it. You are apparently. I have stated before that I am a Rotarian for 31 years. Rotary's 4 Way Test "Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?". I have never once lied about this company. And why would I? I want us to win. However, if something doesn't smell right, you're damn right I will ask (scream?) "Hey WTF is that smell?!). It is your slip that is showing sir, not mine. Do not ever attack my integrity. You will not win that one.
This place could be mistaken for the Twilight Zone sometimes. Everybody here heard with their own 2 ears President #2 Capponi say we could do $80 million and the 24/7 beginning in March comments. We heard them. We couldn't have made up the figures because who knew? Not me? But alas, we were told we misunderstood. Huh? Fast forward and I point to 2 important(?) things we have going on. I'm specific and the response I get is specific. When I respond to the response (Quint Jaws "Ya folla?"), once again, I misunderstand.. Ya can't make this up. Anybody see Rod Serling?
I did not say Q3 will be bad
It was an unrealistic goal to think REMOVE would show statistically significant mortality improvement? You lost me. I'm taking your word for it that it won't. How does a salesman sell the device based on that? Coupled with a needed trial for FDA, short or not. If no FDA trial requirement was improbable, why was this dangled? If Q2 had been the $12-$15 most here thought (please don't argue this, everyone I communicate privately with expected this), then Chan's guidance saying Q3 will be good but not the highest would not be concerning. I ask what do we have to look to to move the stock and pull us outta this slow dive(?) The constant "We've never been better yadda yadda" isn't doing it, nor do I see that message working again short term. Nobody's buying g what we're selling. Throw in investors who quickly snapped up over $50 million in stock now worth $10 million+ less. They must want someone's scalp. And I ask this seriously. Somebody tell me why we need a CEO and separate president and the added salary bonus that brings with it? Why?
I stand by my comment. If REMOVE doesnt have sparkling mortality numbers AND the FDA wants a trial, both being true, we are screwed short term at a minimum. Those are the two things being pointed to.
Who said they are holding anything back? I didn't. I'll explain for you. We don't need to rehash them not explaining the loss of the backlog or how we ended up with $9.5 sales going "24/7". You accept that. I don't. So the good Dr. (president number one....why do we need 2?) has spoken very positively about REMOVE when he discusses it. I have a problem buying in completely and apparently, so does the market. "Show me". Their prior statements and omissions (oh yeah, we lost the backlog) does not lead to trust. I don't believe in blind faith. The people who paid $9.50 were told something (what?). They have to be pissed. This Dr. Makis is the only one I have true confidence in. Someone with a resume.
Please show where I said they are holding anything back. Thanks in advance.
Best Scenario: REMOVE results are smashing unambiguous and FDA does not require a trial for ticagrelor removal. Middling Scenario: One of the prior does not go that way (which one is better for us to miss on?). We Are Screwed Scenario: REMOVE is either bad or just OK and excites no one AND, after waiting all of these months we have to start, yes just start, a trial for FDA. We can argue (I don't want to argue) but the company's lack of candor makes me completely uncertain of how these will go. And if someone like me, who follows this daily feels that way, well you have no questions as to why nobody is buying the stock and we are down the crapper. Again, those who forked over $9.50 would like to choke somebody I'm pretty sure. Did anyone on here get into that financing? I did not. I'm small potatoes LOL (thankfully).
Thanks. You need a scorecard with this sometimes and I'm guilty of blurring the lines. These days of drip drip drip down are tough. Fingers crossed.
Canes, thanks. Can you clarify, did it sound like he knows but cannot say, or just doesn't know? How does something get breakthrough designation and the company doesn't know after 6 months how to get the whole enchilada?
The FDA decision as to how they will evaluate us regrading blood thinner removal is material news no? I only ask because it has been so long since the breakthrough designation. It seems crazy to take the step of giving us that designation and then putting the decision on their evaluation method on the back burner. What am I missing? If we don't need a trial, they should be close to a final decision. If we do, things haven't even begun. Huge difference. I know some here e-mail them. Can we get clarification? They never answer me LOL.
Activity in the premarket. Just seems curious. Anyone hearing anything?
This was my Rotary Club's annual trip, probably more famous for our partying and camaraderie than fishing. We have saved over 40 children from 3rd world countries that needed life saving heart surgery through Rotary's Gift of Life Foundation (my northern NJ District has saved over 2000! 7 fatalities sadly). I have posted before that I am a miracle survivor in 1993 of endocarditis that should have taken me out. When I lived through an 11 hour operation, I knew that I was here for a reason and worked like crazy to raise funds for GOL. We had only hosted 3 children in my Club at that point. Anyhow, 7 of the over 40 have stayed in my home. They come with one parent. It is a remarkable sight to go into a recovery room with a child's mom or dad when they see their son/daughter "pink" with normal coloring after heart surgery. They arrive with purple skin and lips. Other than raising my 3 kids as a single father, it's the greatest thing I have been fortunate to participate in. Facebook has made it possible for me to still see some of them and communicate. Very emotional when they go home, sending them off on the plane. They are usually here for 6 weeks, so it is a chore to host. I have had one boy from Bolivia and his dad twice now. He will probably need more surgery in 5 years. The first time, 2011, the father said to me through an interpreter (my Spanish is OK but not great) that he wanted to apologize and was ashamed(?) I asked why, why do you feel this way? He answered that villagers in Bolivia had said that America just wanted to steal his son's organs to give to our kids here. Don't go. That we were terrible people. I was shocked. He confessed that although it frightened him, "Diego" would die anyway from not getting surgery so he had nothing to lose. Can you imagine? As they waited at the airport to board and head home, he said all of this, apologizing and saying Americans were the finest people in the world. We saved his son. Oh yeah, you asked about the fishing! We left Belmar NJ early afternoon on Parker Pete's boat (terrific boat). The captain took us north near Sandy Hook. Plenty of action but most fluke were "shorts" as they must be at least 18 inches to keep. The hurricane remnants came across Pennsylvania and made their way to us after a few hours and the captain kept moving us south to avoid it. Eventually it caught us and, once there was lightning, we had to head in. We had a great time, again it's a great charitable organization (I have been in for over 30 years following in my Dad's footsteps), and the world had a lot less beer, vodka and scotch when we got back to the dock LOL. My 8yo grandson caught his first "ocean" fish a sea bass. No fish tacos, I got no keepers. But.....we are having lobsters and clams today on my deck. On sale in NJ. Peace to all, good luck to us, and go CTSO.
Orange OT. Heading out for fluke off of the NJ shore today before the remnants of the hurricane make their way here. My Rotary Club (Rutherford NJ) runs an annual trip. Don't wanna jinx it but some big time "doormats" have been hauled recently. I know the rest of you will be disappointed that I can't post LOL. How about we have an up day? Is that too much to ask?
Oh no, you've outed me! I'm a crybaby short! Yeah, that's it! How absurd trying to tie my posts to some ulterior motive. Ridiculous. I'm long and I want to win. No, they never satisfactorily answered the questions. And, the good Dr. had ample opportunities to reveal during the quarter that the backlog had gone away. But did he, the coward? That's right coward. No, he let all of us retailers sit back and think we were going to have much higher income than where it ended up. You know it and I know it. Do not even try to be intellectually dishonest and say the $9.5 income was expected because some analysts predicted that number blah blah blah. That's pure crap. And then to not even address it in the cc until up against the wall. Unbelievable. That was unbelievable. I don't doubt you are way down too. They've bungled this. You told someone else to be ashamed. There's plenty of shame and it belongs in offices in Monmouth NJ. That's where it belongs. They need to wake up. Why did we promote a guy who couldn't deliver product timely, causing a huge loss of sales? Two presidents for a little company(?)
Yay, I'm down over $150,000 since black Friday a few weeks ago when we closed at $11.54. Yay. Silly me, what a crybaby I am. I thought we were cruising to earnings on 8/5. All we had to do was wait for those earnings that most CONSERVATIVELY put between $12 and $15 million (that gave the new President a break, not holding him to his $20 million 24/7 now obvious BS), Yay. And BOOM! YAY. We did a financing at $9.50 and raised a ton. Actually real yay on that. But then.....Oh yeah by the way, earnings were $9.5. $9.5? How can this be? A backlog of $3 million? Deflated yay, the yay is getting fainter. But alas, the $9.50 will protect us. Yay. Won't go below that bc it will be screwing some heavy hitters they lined up who shelled out a ton in a few days (yay). WRONG. Then, and if this doesn't bother you, you've got a problem in defending the indefensible, he wasn't going to say they blew (the new Pres) the backlog. It wasn't disclosed. They had to be asked by somebody that scratched their head and said "Hold on a minute. How does $20 million capability, going 24/7, come out to $9.5, especially if we had a $3 million backlog?" Oh yeah, shoot, thanks for reminding me. Um, we couldn't deliver the goods promptly and then people cancelled. Now let me turn it over to our new President, Mr. I sell at $14 because I know what you schmucks don't, to massage you further. Done with the quotes. There's a smell here. Something ain't quite right. $8 f'in .18. Ridiculous.
My audition "Hey, we finished up .16 from the day's low of $8.02. If you bought at $8.02 you're already up 2%. What's your problem?" I'd add in the "We've tripled yadda" but it would be lying now. Anybody know why we need two presidents, or why the guy responsible for production, who lost the backlog because he didn't produce, got promoted? Anyone? Buehler?
How much does the company pay the defense attorneys? I'm retired. I could be coerced.
I'm just back from golfing so I missed almost all of this crap day, yet another, with this stock. I sit here pondering how I should view some of this. Choice A...excellent, we are now well capitalized with nearly $90 million. Or Choice B. yikes, people who couldn't sink a 2 foot putt or hit water if they fell outta the boat have nearly $90 million to screw up. Can anyone say why we need two Presidents?
I understand completely. I think the earnings are the main reason for our lethargy. Main, not only. Announce that financing and then have earnings between the anticipated $12 to $15 million that many on here were thinking, and I believe you have a much higher SP today, even with the dilution. I'm a proponent of getting the cash when they could at those levels. The income was disappointing, and losing the backlog was the icing. Factor that back in and you make it over $12 million. Sadly, it causes me to question statements about being able to do $80 million for the next two years. I'm admittedly a bit down on it all right now because, sans news on REMOVE or FDA blood thinners, I'm not sure what moves this. Anyone?
There hasn't been a good answer.
You left out....if we are capable of $80 million, or $20 million a quarter as our president #2 stated (I still don't have an answer as to why we need two chiefs in our present state), and if we were going 24/7 in March, HOW (capital HOW) did we lose the $3 million backlog and yet only sell $9.5 million from April 1 to June 30? And we promoted the guy responsible to boot.
Question for everyone. What killed the rally? Was it the financing/dilution or the earnings below what people expected? There is no doubt in my mind that we definitely headed higher on that fateful Friday. I actually believe it to be the earnings now. There was tremendous anticipation and then the wind came outta the sails.
How confident are we, or should we be, that the REMOVE results are going to propel us?
Your own post says "one of the strongest" but this is not worth anymore time. I'll assume it's lower than Q2 and hope to be pleasantly surprised.
You wrote that Q3 would be the highest in history. Did you mean the highest Q or the highest Q3? I think that's the confusion. I believe it's the latter (but I thought Q2 would be much higher than it turned out)
So with that in mind, why did we partner with those two small cos last week? Why not the bigger company taking the whole thing? Let's get the buyout at $50 lined up already! LOL.
They sound to me more valuable as a distributor if/when FDA approves blood thinner removal. Right up their alley it appears.
They'll fit right in(?) Do I win?
It would be funny if you had a clue and knew what you were talking about. I'm not a short basher. I posted twice and said two things. 1. The financiers that shelled out $9.50 to the tune of $50 million can't be happy. Anyone on here want to take a contrary position to that? Wanna make that argument? Please do. 2. A director bought 4000 shares under $4. I wrote it would be nice, I would be happy because I'm not short or a basher, if some of them would make purchases at market share prices. It would make "a statement". Anybody here who disagrees with this? Please explain. There was nothing untrue or BS in my posts. Don't even try to stifle free speech here or call names when you have no idea. You mention $20. That would make me happy and put me over $1 million here. Know what you're talking about in the future.
Looks like we have a director Edward Jones who bought 4000 of his options for a total of $13,400. It would sure help if some of these folks bought in at market prices.
It's a good thing we raised all the money we need for the foreseeable future because going back to the well, especially with those who forked over $50 million, would be a lot tougher. I gotta believe those who paid $9.50 are not happy. To that we all say "Join the club". $11.54 just a couple of weeks ago. I shake my head because no one would have believed this share price back then. I'm stunned. I asked recently what we have to look forward to short term that will turn this around(?) We need real news and I don't know what that could be. Anyone?
Was the original emergency approval tied to a short time period, say 3 or 4 months, that needed extending?
Can you explain this gap thing in detail for us? LOL (inside joke)
Great to see another country that way. One of our investors of CTSO that I communicate with is a German Israeli. He has earnings calculated out in his estimation for the next however many years and we are $50 a share LOL.
My Dad took home movies of him crossing the field at halftime of the Army Navy game 1962. Very cool. Tradition is for the President to sit on each side for a half. My Dad was a WWII Vet, Navy Philippines. The world stopped on the Saturday of that game each year at my house. Kennedy of course would not live to see the 63 game, which actually was delayed a couple of weeks because of the assassination.
"Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine, Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy".
Today's posts say it all.
I think you need to go to Walmart and order the Hasbro!
OK, thx for the response. My confusion stems with your reference to "2 companies". Not sure who you mean. Thx in advance. Hope you are spot on about the prep for cardio. Makes complete sense.
