I am not sure if you caught my addition to my prior post, I ran out of posts, sorry. The ones that you are looking at are just a snapshot of that one day, not total volume for the time period so somewhat misleading.
What i posted was not naked shorts. As far as running on margin, most are run on margin. When it comes down to when do they have to settle, there is not a definetive time line as it is not neccesarily illegal to have a failure to deliver but one does not wish to get caught with there pants down.
Shorts explained
The shorts shown on OTC are mearly just a snap shot of that one day...This is my last post today, i am out of them, sorry guys.
I am all good, hope you are also. I was actually wondering where you were the other day, you have been rather quiet of late! Especially since we probably will not see anything under a buck after the next week or so. ;)
Thanks DoYourDD, Actually CEO already knocked me upside the head and reminded me of the term, something i can honestly say i had not heard in about the previous 25 years or so since my grandfather passed. To be perfectly honest. i was skimming so fast and not paying enough attention, i truely thought you were referencing Malak (Emil) in the listing of players, again, my bad but cheers.
Deerballs, i am happy to oblige the laughs...
PS, can anyone clarify for me this, are we allowed 15 posts per day or 15 posts per board per day?
No I don't think I am. Again, don't you think that the volume would be considerably higher. Since they announced the blackout we have seen around 14 million shares trade (that works out to a daily average of around 2 million shares.), between Malak and the BOD, there is going to be in the neighborhood of 350 million shares, don't you think they would ramp it up a little, have you looked at the ask, there are no huge lots, everyone is holding tight.
Again, still not saying there are any definitively, just saying that they can make it interesting. Would you be able to provide proof that there have never been any naked shorts on the OTC and it is always a false claim when they do so.
"There have however been dozens if not hundreds of false claims of such activity on penny stocks, but in the end it always turns out to be an excuse used by the crooks behind scams like VPLM to "explain" pps variations which in reality are caused by insider selling."

And then the SEC would still have to prove receipt of said communications.
How would a he said she said situation regarding a conversation be as compelling as a public notification? That doesn't hold water.
I never said there were any, additionally, neither has this BOD.
You are right technically, it doesn't but if they have become privy to information and do trade, it has now become public knowledge that there was prior notice to them and thus could make them subject to prosecution, therefore it discourages them. The BOD have their list of said persons, this would not be hard to prosecute if the SEC really found a reason to.
I absolutely agree that the reported shorts is not even worth looking at, it is the naked shorts that go un-reported however that make it more interesting.
As I said, it is illegal for them to sell with out filing first. Regardless, I am confident that the black out was to ensure that parties close to the company, not the BOD, did not have any opportunity to transact any trades, buy or sell. There are more than one I can think of that are not members of the board but are probably consulted in any negotiations.
Yes it is illegal for them to trade with out filing first but I am sure there are parties close to this that they wished to include that may very well have not fallen under the insider category. Hence the reason to announce a blackout of a broader scope.
The shares owned by the BOD for the most part are no longer restricted, they have held them for more than a year.
As for finding the trading policy, I have not been able to find one, I have not had much luck ever finding a trading policy for a corporation, in my experience, they are usually kept internal.
I am rational, does anyone else care to chime in with an idea of reasonable proportion?
Ya no! Lets really look at why this blackout came to be. They are in negotiations, period. If they have to extend it, there is only one logical reason, they are close and they fully believe that an agreement is truly within reach, if we get to the end of this two week period and they call off the blackout, they were to far apart and any and all parties head back to the drawing board, if they extend it, they feel they can get it done...JUST SAYING>>>
Lol, dude you must have balls big enough to come in a dump truck...mind you I wouldn't have to do anything but come home with a new lamborghini and my wife would take care of the rest for me.
All in all, I will not have a problem with an additional week or two. Let's be honest, 11 years in the making and we expect them to nail it down within two weeks. All (wo)men were not created equal and none are perfect... I still feel there may be an additional period of blackout. It's all good though, I haven't given notice at work yet and definitely haven't served the divorce papers.
That's interesting, that is the feeling I have been reading, I mean seeing, I mean feeling around here lately. July 1 ish???
Don't forget the pick up truck!
Dude, that's funny, you do keep me laughing. I called you a comedian before but it was considered a personal attack and thrown in the trash, keep em coming.
And here I was beginning to think I was the only one not using, BTW, I think the user base is over 1 billion. It doesn't stop there either, I believe it was a drunken rant on twitter that cost Dr. Dre 200 million in his deal with AAPL for Beats, Dumb A$$, but regardless of how we feel about them, they have possibly increased the window of valuations that just may push this to numbers that make dreams come true...
Absolutely this will be new ground and to be perfectly honest, given what has transpired over the last few years, the timing for this probably could not be looking better. We have seen massive sums for technology that people would have laughed at 10 years ago. Given that this will be revolutionary to the world as we know it, who really knows. PSTN was revolutionary and carried telecommunications globally since the late 1800's, it was also the basis for the internet as we know it, now VPLM has built the foundation for the next chapter of communications, the sky is the limit considering the global implications this technology possess.
Who ever would have thought that one website could grow to be worth 100 billion dollars, you never know.
Definitely a higher probability, not so sure i'll be on my knees praying for that one however but I will gladly accept it.
Accept it, heck I would get down on my knees and beg for a defeat like that. And b-laker, I would be your best friend and then some, so ya, you would have many new friends!
No worries, just wasnt sure if I missed something!
Are we doing a second pool for amounts?
And here I would have thought any meetings would have been here
Logic
Hey guess what that is on the west coast, oh wait a minute, so is their head office, oh wait again, they are mere hours apart and go figure, a company needs a mailing address, but why spend all that money on an over priced piece of land in silicon valley when you can pay $69.95 for a hole in the wall, just a few hours from the epicentre of this whole thing, OMG, these guys must be geniuses. They figured it out, take a company with no revenues, keep costs down to eliminate debt and then sell their wares to the highest bidder.
The only episode with infringement I can find where O'Leary took the deal was this...
Yomamma Trademark Infringement
He was presented another opportunity here, he didn't get on board with this one.
Lost Deal

Which three? If I was picking a multiple company offer, I would say Orange and Tata!
I would honestly love to see those results, I would be more interested in how you would check for said info however, remember that they could have simply negotiated over say an IP phone call and then perhaps The Orange execs responsible for this may very well come to VPLM.
That's all I am saying, PNRG did volunteer to take up any additional pool however I am with you, let's get this done by the 20th...I will make the first call for a company however, I am going with Orange PLC.
I think we need to let the blackout period play out first, picking of a company works though.
I sure hope you are not saying the buyout is 35 million total.
Unless your friend at MSFT has something different to say, I am not feeling the love coming from Bellevue! Not for VPLM at least.
Oui, je suis d'accord
Dude, with all do respect, clean your damn glasses, lol. "Tata GROUP" is not worth 6.1 trillion USD, it is however worth 109 billion USD which exchanges into 6.1 trillion INDIAN RUPEES...
I honestly don't have specifics, Tata is such a broad spectrum of companies and to try and break it down to telecom customers doesn't appear realistic. I have reviewed their financials and the best I can tell you is their gross revenues is similar to that of Orange however they expense it all out in the wash and have shown a net loss, this compared to Orange with 46 billion of revenue and 4.6 billion of net profit, Again these numbers are not relevant if you consider that Tata is probably growing faster and doing so using debt, they now actually derive 50% of their revenues from India and 50% from the rest of the world so as you can see, they are growing including a number of acquisitions in Canada and the US.
Definitely a close second for me Jim, this may also be a joint effort by Tata and Orange, they did recently announce a partnership to share infrastructure. I just look at the heritage of these companies, Tata wants it for free and the arrogant Orange french would be the type to overpay just to rub it in the face of the USA.
I don't know about that but thanks, however if this goes into next week, it looks like you will be the man. BTW, I personally am leaning to an Orange takeover myself, they really have a much broader market base and are pushing 150 million customers worldwide. That number is greater than AT&T, the largest provider in the US.
I really think you are missing some huge and relevant players. Orange and Tata...I also feel their pockets are deeper than some mentioned, lets also not forget about Hutchison 3G (Whampoa)...Perhaps the deepest pockets in the industry.
