SPRT - Sold my shares in the 1.70s and will look to buy back.
Traderfan (IVRO) - Haven't seen anything and I reached out to all my usual places. Maybe one investor who is super excited about it for some reason? I pulled my sell order from this morning at .18 just to see if it has any more legs. It has been trending up for awhile.
IVRO - Well, at least all is not lost in missing BGFV. This one is flying today and I was lucky enough to get filled at .075 a few weeks back.
BGFV - not quite all of us - missed the easy gravy train on this one :) Will have to make up for it with gold/silver stocks...
ETM - Yes, agreed. I added some of this as well.
Started adding Silver Junior miners today.
Bought AUNFF at the open.
Mermelstein - this is almost (verbatim) what my friend says. I get the sense that you are right. The problem is timing when all of this falls apart. It is going to be U-G-L-Y.
Added AGCBF last week - having a good day.
SLGD - I owned this one a year or two ago, but i've recently been adding shares. Have my cost basis around 1.38. Looking forward to seeing how this does over the next couple years. It's a streaky stock and fairly illiquid.
It's never worth thinking about what could have been. When we turn to dust, money means nothing. I think most of us just enjoy being successful at whatever we do. Trading has always given me a lot of enjoyment. And this is definitely a great community to be a part of.
researcher - I carry physical gold/silver, but right now I don't have any exposure to gold in my trading account. It's hard to outsmart this market.
ARNGF - I already sold mine! :( I think too early. I was more worried about another market downturn and failed to really look at gold prices as whole and where the market was going.
CPSH - Bummer..don't have any more of this. Was looking to rebuy lower but never went there.
AMS - Sold this morning at 2.35 (premarket). It may go higher but i'm locking in profits and waiting for better opportunities.
Wade- The easiest way to look at it is that the stock market is not correlated to the economy. I think a lot of people think it is. But history doesn't show that:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/10/business/stock-market-economy-coronavirus.html#:~:text=the%20main%20story-,Repeat%20After%20Me%3A%20The%20Markets%20Are%20Not%20the%20Economy,gauge%20of%20overall%20economic%20health.&text=The%20stock%20market%20looks%20increasingly%20divorced%20from%20economic%20reality.
OBCI - Anyone have the guts to short here? :)
I'll second that AMEN.
Added some SPRS in the 1.20s/1.30s today.
SPRT (Mermelstein) - Yep, some nice trading action. Thanks for bringing this one to the board. I'm in since 1.27.
DYNT has been such a good trader over the past few months. I’m not sure I know of one that has been better...
bbotcs - The market will hold up as long as the Fed is able to support it.
hweb - Low floaters.. do you have a prospective list? I was upset a few days ago during the market drop when my TCCO order didn't fill. Of course I kept lowering it, so perhaps that is my fault?
I'll see what I can put together..
CVU - sold the rest this morning on that huge new order they received. Was more than a double.
Wade- He’s right. The Fed will not default. How far can they take it? That remains to be seen- but I went long again today because I’m not going to fight this. If and when it becomes a bigger issue we are all screwed anyways.

Crazytown!
Not out of the woods yet. I think that everything will be contingent on how bad the second wave is. Also - still a lot of bankruptcies to go. The economy is not going to be the same once all of this is over. All of this stimulus is really going to come back to bite us. Where are the jobs going to be when people come back?
I still have a conservative posture in my accounts. My deferred comp is mostly bond fund and have some cash waiting on the sidelines in trading account. I want to see how the rest of this week goes before making any big moves. The volatility will likely continue..
I tried to short ARTW after hours at 3.30ish, but nothing available. Bummer.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Stay safe.
Day Trading Surge-
Have you guys seen this article?

Interesting thoughts and explains a lot about the increased volatility we are seeing.
researcher - who are you using for option straddles? I'm trying to join you on this trade to get my feet wet, but it keeps rejecting the trade.
So the way it works is you sell the $5 July straddle and do you buy back at some point or just let it expire? Apologies for my ignorance on this subject...
Obrien - S&P 3185 level. What are you looking at charting wise that would indicate to you a pretty steep drop?
DYNT - Sold my .7x shares at $1. Will look to buy back if it heads lower.
Sold TZA. Going to buy some SPRT also.
Added TZA at 20.28 - I like to short when I see big market spikes when the news is pretty much expected.
MGI (Mermelstein) - Feel like a chump for selling this one. More than a double from where I sold it. Who knew..
OPXS - added some in the 1.80s. I like this story going forward. Think it has room to run and like the stock repurchase program.
CPSH - Just sold my shares on this pop from 1.40s. Will look to buy back on the next dip.
NKLA/NKLAW - Has anyone dipped their toes in this one?
Unemployment Numbers Theory:
How many of you think this unemployment surprise might be due to all the people who applied for the PPP loan in April? By May wouldn't you have had to rehire all of your employees to fulfill the PPP loan forgiveness program rules?
OBrien- not sure I’d stand in front of a moving train just yet. We were definitely on the wrong side of this trade for now. I dumped my TZA this morning and wiped out my gains from last week. Bummer.
