I have as many shares as I wanted right now too. I think tomorrow can set the trajectory assuming they have some positive developments to disclose. May be a fun ride.
Go get 'em Tex.
That's a nice sign.
Cantor Fitzgerald initiated an "overweight" with a $34 target on 12/15/16.
This is from Jefferies Americas
Thesis Update:
TherapeuticsMD (TXMD, BUY, PT $18) Compounding Pharmacy Tour: TX-001 Market Opportunity Is Under-Appreciated - Investor tour of local compounding pharmacy provided unique insights into '001 market opportunity and reinforced our view that the bioidentical E+P VMS market is at a minimum 5.1M scrips or $714-$893M in sales (assumes 100% conversion of scrips). Bear thesis is '001 is a $50M product at peak; we disagree. TXMD is also leveraging similar strategy that grew Makena from $12M in sales to a $250M+ drug, a positive in our view. TXMD is a top small-cap pick for 2017
From Jefferies...
"TXMD (Andrews, Buy, PT:18) Yesterday, we hosted a tour of the Johnson Compounding pharmacy in MA. We believe the visit challenged the bear case on TXMD's '001, and reinforced our view that the bioidentical E+P VMS market is at a minimum $714-$893M in sales. The company's BIO-IGNITE program signed LOIs with compounding pharmacies in Jan."
That's cool. When I bought they had 90 shareholders.
How do we know if she was part of Advaxis trial? (Says no chemo or radiation.)
Yes FBG, stepping back into that role of keeping the board positive. Nice to see.
Naturally.
To you as well James...and a happy prosperous New Year.
Thanks James.
Salmon's List is very impressive indeed.
Indeed, but free and undeserved RSUs are the devil's work.
Thoughts on Mayes departure...
The egregious company policy shift from giving executives and directors Stock Options to giving RSUs AND awarding New Hires RSUs just for coming on-board, all started with Greg Mayes. He now owns over 100,000 vested shares of stock. He IS leaving Advaxis with a Golden Parachute and that was guaranteed by his original RSU award for coming on-board (as it also was for Mauro who only stayed a year and left with equity). In Mayes' case he had No Equity of any value in his old company. He was also moved/relocated across country on Advaxis shareholders' dime. Now he leaves with his equity. Really, a farce in every possible way.
I don't see this as a bearish sign for Advaxis. If he (or any insider) sells his shares that would change. Even if he thinks Advaxis is going to $65/share in 2017, since he is leaving with his fully vested shares, he is participating in all of the upside thanks to the (hopefully now discontinued) RSU policy.
Nice find James. I'm a big fan of Europe.
Sure, I mean this is the sentence ...
"We believe that a more than 50 percent increase in 12-month overall survival rate is clinically meaningful, and Advaxis plans to pursue registrational opportunities in Europe in 2017.”
Seems pretty clear.
Data in PR looks good.
Sloppy headline by MarketWatch.
Early morning drop was on LOW volume / No sell off.
"Competitors" taking it on the chin.
BUY BUY BUY
How can you not add here if you have cash. In fact, this is a double down right now.
Fidelity bought hand over fist during the Smearson fall-out in 1Q 2015. They just took a huge block at $13.50 on August 16th and now have a 10% stake. You'd think they might want to buy some shares here, no?
When speaking generally about the company, I bet they will. They just PR'd it with the announcement of the new executive and it is a huge opportunity.
Wow, thanks Dew...I learned something.
Excellent video James. Thanks for pointing out. Also like the upcoming European Tour ...
It is hard to believe...but it's great news!
That would be fabulous. We're talking about the piano duo, right?
Dew, Divorce settlement?
I'd vote for you James.
So, um, nobody sees the latest offering as establishing a share price floor? Interesting. If I was a Short I would be looking to get out pretty quickly.
Berman has been selling whatever he gets on vesting for the last 3+ years. I remember having the conversation with the IR woman, I forget her name, and got the "he sold for tax reasons," which is NOT the answer you give to somebody with an MBA in finance. I chuckled but did not press her on it.
Anyway, I hate to say it, and this is pure speculation on my part, but he is acting like he may be aware that he won't be around on this mortal coil much longer. That might also explain why the BOD keeps him in place. Frankly, I hope I'm wrong and he simply is not up for Board candidacy on the next proxy.
Ah, the green sky, the blue grass. Enjoy! I'm eating a Peach. Even sans Mr. Allman, this will be nice.
You're right of course.
Any chance you will be at the Peach Festival ?
I see the Amgen deal (milestone payments) as the funding that will be there when needed. Will definitely be interesting to see how the MMs play around if in fact the volume dries up in another week or two. Cheers.
Blue, IMO Advaxis doesn't need to stock the war chest for the next five years at this moment. The Amgen deal did two things...firstly (#1) validate the platform in a much bigger way since a BP is putting up Big $ (also validate our management team with respect to cutting a shareholder friendly deal). Secondly (#2), remove the immediate overhang regarding where the next funding will come from. Advaxis won't need money until the end of '18 and perhaps not even then, based on future milestone payments for MINE. I also believe #1 caused the initial pop in the share price but #2 will be the gift that keeps giving as the share price continues to appreciate into the $20s.
Wednesday Myth! 8 days a week, Hdwrsft — this one is a Strong Buy.
Yeah, but I hope not.
Times like these where it sucks not having real-time Short data.
Yes, if they haven't already applied for BTD, you know they will again ...
Well, it looks like most of the Usual Suspects are preparing to migrate from the Yahoo dumpster fire.

I think your theory about old financing deals being the reason there is often (always) sell-in to any good news (probably driven by the liquidity opportunity....certainly not by the increased share price) is extremely interesting.
As I've thought about it though, I would think we would see any big positions (still held by toxic financiers) show up in Yahoo's listings of "Major Holders" or "Institutions". I haven't seen any of the usual suspects on those lists.
Any evidence for your theory/insight?
Cheers,
Donja
You got that right!
