Some say the they spoke to TS and there will be a pr. Some say they spoke to TS and there will not. I love the ones who come here and say they feel bad for the bagholders (as they, of course) bought high and sold low and made a ton of cash..... and then give you a stock tip (lol). I love the ones who come just to say they never owned this stock but want to try to scare the bagholders into selling. As if they look for negative news for any stock and go to the board to rub it in... or act truthfully sorry for us.
I missed all the days action, and may have sold if I would have been able because bad news like this, true or not, will lead to losses. So at this point, I will hold.
28k in shares.... and we got the FBI...... holy cow. I am not going to try to pretend I know any truths or any future but this all stinks. I feel like this is blown out of proportion. A lot of folks have done a lot worse but the sell now and ask questions later strategy almost always prevails with any bad news.
Question is.... Will I double down when the dealer holds a face card?
I do think it will take a rather large verifiable piece of news going forward to take this back to the 3 cent range.
Granted, this sucks! What will come of it in the short term? I do not know. The company should be able to remain selling product and growing business as usual but that is JMO. If this is indeed true, This could really be a small risk for HUGE reward. I bought at these prices before and I will do it again if the near future brings us something positive
Sell first .. ask questions later mentality
I feel that the move into a larger facility not only shows of just a couple larger shipments.... but it shows the confidence going forward. Of course if they moved from a "2 car garage" to a "4 car garage" maybe not so much.
It would be interesting and telling to know about the new facility ... to better determine the expectations of the company.
One Reply to Newmedmen (sp)? and the tax post. Interesting thought... If we as a country are so concerned with preserving the health of our people with high taxes and possible new labeling with the negatives of smoking... Would it not make sense to tax the hell out of tar cigs and not so for the e-cigs to further promote the push away from tar. I guess that future answer might tell us something about something. Just a thought!
WOW... Thanks for that post
I'm starting to think that we may need a lawyer to sign off on each post before submitting
The O-ring suggestion was copied from a yahoo poster. I just wanted to bring it to your attention. I, myself, received the product two days ago. I did notice the fit was not perfect where the filter slid on. I thought nothing of it as the product did just what I expected it to and the blue light went on with my first inhale. I did get the nicotine buzz. I also knew that feeling the heat in the throat was not expected (though it would be a nice touch). I do not have the ability now to make a you tube video but think it more important to get the information to SFIO as a customer should not need to make any adjustments to the product for it to work. Again, I did not have any problem with my product working as advertised.
copy and paste from another poster on yahoo;
I put a tiny rubber o-ring where the filter meets the plastic to create a seal, the blue light comes on ever time now with the smallest of puffs and it works great every time.
I got the same results if I seal taped the filter to the plastic, the air flow sensor must require a certain amount of air to pass over it before the heating element engages. IMO the entire problem is the sealing of the filter to the mounting base.
I have bought 6 starter kits for friends so far and each one I modified with the o-ring is awesome. My friends love them and said they will continue to use them from now on. One lady told me its her comfort cig.
Just introduced a guy who I know to the product. 20 years, a pack a day smoker. He never knew E-cigs even existed.
He was on his lunch break from work and I asked if he would avoid his normal 2 cigarettes he smokes after lunch and come try this product. I gave him the heads up that it was not like a cigarette in many ways but it was simply a nicotine delivery device.
He took about 6 drags off it and said he had to go but as he left he yelled back to me..."I don't even want a cigarette now"
This company is doing everything right so it seems. There are several factors and players involved which leads to situations outside the control of the company... ie delay of product, boxes, etc. Product is good, Market condition is primed, customer service exceptional, window of opportunity is opened, timing is beautiful.
Dilution, target vs no target, traders and flippers, timing of jv and distributor announcements, all just smoke and vapor at this point. I am in no rush as the ride will be just as exciting as the endpoint.
That would be great because Nyquil is expensive
Funny I stepped outside to try out my new product. Anyway, here is my review.
Prelude: I believe reviews will be swayed by a variety of factors but the largest of these factors being ones expectations. My expectation is that when I feel the need for nicotine, that this product will satisfy that craving.
I am not a daily cigarette smoker but have smoked my share in my life. I do also chew tobacco and that was my way off of cigarettes. Now I hope this product can reduce the chewing tobacco intake. It is all about health for me.
My product seems to work from the get go. I charged it... the red light turned off... I attached a filter... I took a NORMAL drag.. The blue light turned on (after I went back inside to look in the mirror) and tasted the flavor... I feel the nicotine.
I don't know if more air or a tweeking of some sort will improve the quality... very possible I guess. It was not, however, my initial thought.
I do agree that a little heat to the back of the throat would throw this product into overdrive.. but would buy it as is.
I think that varying nicotine levels will be a great addition.
I think that for me... the best review I can give for myself.. Is to see if I can be satisfied all day long, only smoking this product. How much can I reduce my other crutch with this product. Is it cost effective compared to my current expenses for nicotine and tobacco?
I also have never tried another e-cig.
Yoda,
I was charged 29.95 ... I did check my confirmation email and have my invoice in front of me... I have a feeling, it was a good faith gesture for the delay... Or maybe it was 3am and they were exhausted :)
Ok. I just received my starter kit. I will give my review later this evening. My starter kit for $30 came with 30 filters... 3 packages of 10 each. Is this correct? I was under the impression that it came with only 10 filters. Any comments?
Yep, My instincts tell me you are genuine as well as a handful of others. I do not post much and I usually do not even like the concept of a message board. I trust myself and only look to a message board for information that I may not have found myself.
However, this company has me a little excited.
yes, I was not trying to imply anything negatively toward you. I have enjoyed your posts more than most.
The overall concept of it will most likely need to be remembered many times during the course of the rise of this company.
I only sent this towards you because you were only one of two who responded.
Remember my little story about Christmas as a child and my childhood vacation to Hawaii?
samples to possible distributors, potential retail clients.. etc. When I started my business many years ago, I offered at cost samples to as many people who would try it. Just a thought
or they did produce more and it is being shipped to different locations
Fact: No product, only speculation..... share price .0019 - .003
Fact: Store up, sells out of product, delay of new product
Share price .025 - .045
Sounds good to me!
yes you did. I said kind of the same thing.... so did one other guy who then kinda got ripped apart. Still hope we are wrong..
I am 45 years old and hoping SFIO will have me retired by the time I am 48. I too am excited but containing my enthusiasm for the day or two ahead. I have experienced situations where the news/results I had been waiting for came in and came in beautifully, only to either not come close to my expectations in share price movement and even have downward movement. I am not trying to imply that this will be the case tomorrow. I only am prepared to see a nice move tomorrow but not be disappointed if it does not meet some of the expectations that I might otherwise have. I keep my eyes on the bigger prize months to years down the road and will be happy with whatever gains can be made in the day or days ahead.
I do agree with a poster who states that news of distributors and partnerships will seal the deal so to speak. Patent news is big news and we all knew it a week or so ago but I will keep my immediate expectations to a minimum and welcome any upside surprises.
I follow this board much more than post... maybe my third post and I will say that the swings of emotion have been quite dramatic. Try to keep a level head and our sights on the bigger prizes ahead.
Congratulations to you all and it should be a nice long fun ride.
I post rarely. I read the board for kicks and to hopefully find a gem of real information that I have yet to find myself. Once in a while I see one but the rest is all worthless. I have enough shares that I will not flip as I find more value in holding to avoid the large capital gains tax a year down the road. Therefore, I am in no hurry. In at an average of less than a penny so things look a little different through my eyes. I accept the growing pains even though I agree that management should have taken this possibility of custom delay into account and been more prepared. I also think it is a possibility that they were careful not to overproduce product for website sales before they felt necessary. Also a possibility that they did produce more but they were going to other destinations as I am sure we all would hope. I just hope they are using their time wisely and in the end, this delay will be a thought of the past.
May the "force be with you"
30 years later, I now live in Hawaii
The anticipation. Whether it be Christmas as a child or a vacation to Hawaii is grueling yet exciting. It seems to take forever as each day it is forefront on your mind. You dream and talk about how great it is gonna be.
Expectations grow as time grows near and you can not wait to open your presents or step of the plane into the warm tropical breeze.
Finally the day comes to open your present or board that plane. Upon opening your first present, you are slightly disappointed at the pair of jeans in the box.
As you get on the airplane, the captain announces that there is a delay to approach the runway due to some "mechanical maintenance". This makes you wonder... hummm.. what is really going on?
By the time you have reached your last present and tears are welling up in your eyes due to not receiving what you hoped or expected, hope starting to evaporate, feeling sorry for yourself, you unwrap what looks to be your last gift.
Finally, The plane takes off and worry about the "technical issue" quickly disappears. But then the captain announces that the weather in Hawaii is cloudy and 68 degrees. Damn, after waiting all this time... the weather sucks! How disappointing.
The last present turns out to be kinda cool though not what you had hoped for. You are somewhat disappointed in your Christmas after all the buildup.
When the plane lands in Hawaii, yes it is cloudy, but you are in a new and exciting place... not what you expected but still cool. When taking your first swim in the ocean, you are stung by a jellyfish and it puts a damper on the next few days. Your parents do all they can to comfort you but you are not happy so far with the quality of your vacation.
The disappointment of your christmas gifts soon becomes distant as your birthday grows near... Guess what? You are finally old enough for your first bicycle and receive it. The previous christmas is forgotten forever.
The plane ride home goes much quicker than the plane ride to..due to no anticipation and years later all you remember was that your family all went to Hawaii and the "tragedy" of the airplane delay, the sting from the jellyfish and the poor weather turn into the comedy as you reminisce with your family about what a great vacation that was.
Enjoy the ride...
I got this advertisement to my email and I wrote them to ask about the vapor and the filter. I am long SFIO and don't fear because of the filter aspect but Here is the response from Emeraldlux
Dear Paul,
No, it does not emit water vapor and yes, the filter is plastic. The atomizer creates smoke using liquid nicotine soaked in a sponge tucked into the filter.
Thank you,
Lola

I found this stock just a few weeks ago. It was .0029.. How lucky is that? Anyway, I also own another stock . NEOP. They have had 10 mil in sales for the past several years selling medical supplies... all the while working on a product to help in the diagnosis of cancer. My point is, this company is about to submit NDA in July and all are confident that it will be approved.... the stock price sits comfortably around the $5 range and they have just sold the Medical supply part (the only profit maker). There will be no sales until FDA approval so... sometime in 2012. Why does it sit at $5 ? Its based on future earning potential...obviously not current profits. So, with that said, I have no idea how this stock will react and what sales will look like but I would not disagree with anyone for saying it may be .50 cents in a year, nor would I disregard $5 given some time and sales numbers with projected growth estimates and some analyst coverage.
RE/AL WE DON'T BLOW SMOKE
One might also say.... "shortly after it hits .99"
Just looked on their website and it is a testimony from 2009 in the consumer tab... nothing to get too excited about i think.
I like it!
Dont get me wrong. I was just adding to the slogan. get real as in buy real. I can see that it was probably not a good addition
THE SMOKE THAT DOES NOT SMOKE?....GET RE/AL
On Yahoo MB. One person says he bought a starter kit at Walgreens in Rhode Island. A promotional product tested in Rhode Island due to demographics there.
I believe it actually went up Sunday night
My grandfather died of lung cancer due to smoking. My father had a triple bypass and was a smoker. Yes, it may be in the genes, but I bet both of them, in retrospect, would have gladly payed the extra cost for the product.
Good luck everyone! First post on this board.
